God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory used to exclude us from having access to God but now they are ours in Christ, for He has become our righteousness, holiness, and glory; our God is a covenanting God, promising no longer to destroy the earth but to impart the newness of life into us to make us the New Jerusalem while executing His judgment upon the earth.
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming not only to fulfill the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory but even more, to become righteousness, sanctification, and redemption to us from God! Hallelujah, we are becoming the church of the covenant, for we have a covenanting God who keeps us at peace in the church life as we enjoy the Lord as our everything. Thank You for Your precious promise not to destroy the earth by a flood. Thank You for imparting Yourself into us to make us the wise exhibition of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory! Hallelujah!
If we read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation we see a marvellous matter: even though man fell and disobeyed God, God Himself became incarnate in Jesus Christ to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory so that man may be brought back into fellowship with God.
Even more, Christ was resurrected to become the life-dispensing Spirit as the reality of the tree of life to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory, being expressed through us.
Whenever someone believes into Christ, the righteousness of God is applied to him by faith, and he enters into a lifelong process of sanctification.
In this process, not only do we enjoy God’s justification by faith and Christ as our righteousness but even more, we are being infused and saturated with the holy nature of God so that we may be holy as He is.
This is a lifelong process of transformation and conformation to His image. Eventually, the consummation of this process is that we are being glorified, that is, transfigured in our body.
All this is done by the life of God being continually dispensed into us as we cooperate with the Lord. We open to Him, He infuses us with Himself, and we keep our being open to His dispensing.
This causes us, living vessels, to not only receive God and contain God but even more, express God by His life! Praise the Lord!
Enjoy the Covenanting God, the Faithful God who keeps His New Covenant to impart the Newness of Life into us and make us the New Jerusalem while Executing His Judgment upon the Earth
The rainbow around God’s throne signifies that God is the covenanting God, the faithful God who will keep His new covenant to impart the newness of life into us, His chosen ones, to make us the New Jerusalem while executing His judgment upon the earth (Gen. 9:8-17; Rev. 4:3; 21:2; Rom. 6:4; Ezek. 1:26-28; 36:26-27).
There is One on the throne, a Man, and around the throne there is a rainbow; this rainbow signifies the covenanting God, the faithful God. God put a rainbow in the sky to signify that He will no longer destroy the earth by a flood.
This shows that God is faithful. Our God is a faithful God. His faithfulness is shown in Him keeping His covenant to impart Himself into us as the newness of life so that we may become the New Jerusalem. At the same time, He will execute His judgment upon the earth.
The rainbow is a sign of God’s faithfulness in keeping His covenant that there will be no more judgment of death. We must live under the new covenant and not believe in any failure, weakness, darkness, or negative thing.
We believers in Christ are the covenanted people, who have a verse of promise to meet every situation (see Lam. 3:22-23; Rom. 8:1; 2 Cor. 12:9; 2 Tim. 1:10; 2:1; Jude 24; 1 John 1:9; 1 Cor. 1:9).
We have a verse of promise for every situation; we simply need to read the Bible and pray over it, and God’s words become promises to us.
We may be assured and at peace in the church life today because there is no more death! Hallelujah, there is no more death, for this is God’s promise!
The more we say, “No more,” the more we realise that we have no death, no failure, no weakness, and no darkness because we are living under God’s covenant, not under our feelings, our convictions, or any environment.
We may believe that God is faithful and that He is a covenanting God, but we need to apply this to our being and experience by taking His promises in by means of all kinds of prayer and petition, believing God in His word.
We do not look at things which are seen but at the things not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Thank the Lord that we are secured, guaranteed, and protected by the great and precious promises in God’s covenant (2 Pet. 1:4).
God’s covenant declares that, whenever the sky is cloudy, we must call God’s faithfulness to come, which means that we “call out the rainbow.” We have many situations and things in which we need to call out the rainbow, that is, call God’s faithfulness to come.
What does it mean for God to be faithful? Some may say that God is faithful to give them a lot of possessions, money, good health, and prosperity; however, God is faithful to His word!
Amen, God is faithful to His word, and His Word is the testament, the covenant (see 1 Cor. 1:9; 1 John 1:9).
When we fail, transgress, and commit sins, we can confess our sins, repent, and apply His precious blood, and we are restored into the fellowship with Christ.
We church people are a people under the covenant; we can call ourselves the church of the covenant! This is what we are, for we have the God of the covenant, the covenanting God, who is faithful to us in His word!
May we learn to take God at His word and simply enjoy Him, say Amen to His word, and allow Him to impart the newness of life into us to make us the New Jerusalem while executing His judgment upon the earth.
We are the first to be judged, for judgment begins at His house, but at the same time, we enjoy His precious promises and partake of His faithfulness! Praise the Lord!
Thank You, Lord, for being faithful! Hallelujah, the rainbow around the throne of God signifies that God is the covenanting God, the faithful God! Praise the Lord, God will keep His new covenant to impart newness of life into us to make us the New Jerusalem while executing His judgment upon the earth! Amen, Lord, we open to You today. Judge in us what needs to be judged. We believe that we’re being judged and purified today so that we may have Your divine element wrought into us to make us His corporate expression. God’s Righteousness, Holiness, and Glory used to Exclude us but now We Bear Christ as Righteousness, Holiness, and Glory
When we speak of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory, we need to realise that these are signified by the rainbow around the throne of God.
The three primary colours of the rainbow around God’s throne are blue, red, and yellow.
Blue is the color of the sapphire throne, which signifies God’s righteousness (Ezek. 1:26; Psa. 89:14). Red is the color of the sanctifying fire, which signifies God’s holiness (Ezek. 1:4, 13, 27; Heb. 12:29). Yellow is the color of the glowing electrum, which signifies God’s glory (Ezek. 1:4, 27; Heb. 1:3).
The glowing electrum is something quite amazing; it is a mixture of gold and silver. Gold signifies the divine nature of God, and silver signifies the redeeming God.
When we experience a clear sky wth the throne above it, and when we experience Christ as a man who has the appearance of electrum and a consuming fire, we will have the appearance of a rainbow (Ezek. 1:28).
There is splendour and glory around the Lord on the throne, and there is a rainbow around Him.
What is the significance of the rainbow? If we look at the story in Genesis, only eight people were spared from the judgment of the flood – Noah and his family.
After that, when men would see dark clouds and rain falling, they may have been afraid of being destroyed. So God made a covenant in which He promised never again to destroy all living things by a flood, and He set the rainbow in the cloud as a sign of this covenant (Gen. 9:13-16). Hallelujah!
The rainbow is a sign of God’s faithfulness and promise not to destroy the fallen human race with a flood.
The three basic colours of the rainbow are red, yellow and blue; when they are shining and blending, they produce the other colours, such as orange, green, and violet.
Blue signifies the throne; the foundation of God’s throne is righteousness (Psa. 89:14). Red signifies the sanctifying and separating fire, the consuming fire; red signifies God’s holiness. Yellow signifies God’s glory in the glowing electrum.
Before we were saved, we were far away from God, and we were kept far away from Him by God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory.
But thank the Lord that Christ came; He came to die on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory. He was also resurrected, and in resurrection He is now our righteousness, holiness, and glory!
It is of God that we are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom to us from God – both righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Hallelujah!
In ourselves we’re short of God’s glory (Rom. 3:23); we do not meet God’s righteous requirements, and we are kept away by God’s holiness.
When we are living in the flesh, we do not express God’s glory; we are under God’s righteous judgment, and we’re kept away by God’s holiness. Oh Lord!
But praise the Lord, by repentance and faith in Christ, we are now in Christ, and He has become our righteousness, holiness, and glory!
Now when God looks at us, He sees us in Christ, and we bear Christ as righteousness, holiness, and glory! In God’s sight, by virtue of us being in Christ, we look like righteousness, holiness, and glory.
We simply need to abide in the Lord by remaining under the divine dispensing. We need to daily enjoy and experience Christ to such an extent that, when others contact us, they can sense righteousness, holiness, and glory.
This means that we need to have a clear sky with a throne above it, and when others see us, we are righteous and proper, not careless or loose in any way.
We also have the electrum, being glowing, shining, and weighty, even having God shining through us to be expressed in us.
As we abide in the Lord in this way, enjoying His divine dispensing to such an extent, we will have the appearance of a rainbow!
The angels, the demons, and Satan will see it: they will see that we who were fallen are now not only saved but also have become a testimony of God’s faithfulness in saving us! Praise the Lord!
This should be our reality and testimony in the church life today.
Every local church should bear the testimony of the rainbow, for all the saints are under the divine dispensing and there’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Amen, may we all look like God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory by our continual enjoyment of the divine dispensing!
Lord Jesus, praise You for Your marvellous and lofty purpose related to man! Thank You for becoming a man to make a way for us to come to God and become the expression of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory! Hallelujah, even though God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory hindered us from coming to God, Christ came to fulfill all the righteous, holy, and glorious requirements of God! Amen, Lord Jesus, we repent and we believe into You! We take You as our life and our everything. We open to Your divine dispensing today. Dispense Yourself into us continually as God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory. Make us the same as You are. We do not want to remain in the self, for the self cannot express God’s glory, is under God’s righteous judgment, and is kept away by God’s holiness! Oh Lord, keep us in Christ, where we can bear Christ as righteousness, holiness, and glory! Infuse us with Yourself to such an extent that we become a testimony and expression of Your divine attributes for all to see! Hallelujah! Amen!
