Learn Christ by Eating Christ to Live Christ for the Reality of the Body of Christ

October 14, 2026 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

I am able to do all things in Him who empowers me. Phil. 4:13

For us to learn Christ is for us to be replaced with Christ by eating Christ so that the reality that is in Jesus – the God-man living of the individual Jesus – becomes the reality of the Body of Christ by our eating Christ; we need to be those learning Christ as our secret until we have a corporate God-man living for His expression.

Lord Jesus, we come to You to eat You, drink You, and be filled with You. We want to learn Christ as the reality is in Jesus. May the reality that was in Your living be reproduced in our living today. Amen, Lord, gain the God-man living of the corporate Christ as we eat Christ to enjoy Christ as our supply to live such a life. We give ourselves to You today so that, in all our daily living, we may be learning Christ and living Christ for the corporate expression of God! Amen!

We believers in Christ are Christ’s disciples, and we are daily being discipled by Christ to no longer live in and by ourselves but live Christ.

We are learning to live not by our natural life but by the divine life to become the reproduction of Christ. We do this by continually exercising our spirit to contact the Lord and also by coming to the word of Christ to abide in His word.

When we abide in the Lord’s word, we are truly His disciples, and we shall know the truth, and the truth shall set us free. We need to be set free. The truth sets us free.

May we have prayerful reading of the Scriptures and have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches through the ministry of the Word so that we may be discipled by the Lord through being transformed by the renewing of our mind.

Our mind needs to be renewed! The leading part of our being is our mind; what our mind thinks, that’s what we do, and what our mind processes, that is what we understand and that is the way we live.

There are a lot of concepts in our mind, a lot of old thoughts and concepts, and we need to be renewed in our mind by coming to the Lord’s word with much prayer.

The word of the Lord reconstitutes us and instructs us, governs us, rules us, and controls us.

As we pray-read God’s word daily, we are infused with Christ, we have Him dwell in us, and He will speak to us throughout the day, using the word that we have read, to give us life, regulate our daily living, and cause us to express God and not ourselves.

Learning Christ by Eating Christ so that the Reality that is in Jesus becomes the Reality of the Body of Christ, the God-man Living of the Corporate Christ, for God’s glory in the Church

As the living Father has sent Me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me. John 6:57

As disciples of Christ, we not only learn of Christ but we are learning Christ as the reality is in Jesus. To learn Christ is for us to be replaced with Christ by eating Christ so that the reality in Jesus becomes the reality of the Body of Christ (John 6:57; Isa. 7:14-15; John 17:4; Heb. 5:8; Phil. 2:8; John 6:63; Jer. 15:16; Heb. 4:16; Rom. 5:5, 17; 12:2; 2 Cor. 5:14; Eph. 3:20-21).

We daily eat Christ to be constituted with Christ and replaced with Christ; this results in us living a God-man life, even the God-man living of the corporate Christ.

By our eating Christ to enjoy Christ as our supplying, energising, empowering, and enabling supply, we choose and carry out the will of God for His glory in the church.

If we read the Gospels we see the God-man living of Jesus; the disciples of Christ were with Him and were discipled by Him simply by observing how He lived, how He spoke, and how He did things.

The secret is in John 6:57; Christ did not live out Himself but lived the Father by partaking of what the Father is, and today we can live because of Christ as we eat Christ. We are discipled to live a God-man life by eating Christ to live because of Him.

We are learning Christ by eating Christ so that the reality that is in Jesus would be manifested in us as we live the life of a God-man again.

Christ was under the divine supply, always partaking of the richest grace and sweetest love of the Father, and He lived out the Father. Such a One lives in us.

We have been regenerated with His life to be a God-man, and now we need to grow in life and be discipled to live the life of a God-man.

As we look at the living of the Lord Jesus, we realise that He was a genuine man, yet He denied Himself, did not live by Himself, and rejected His human life, and did everything one with the Father, even living out the Father, expressing the Father, and speaking the Father’s words and doing the Father’s work (John 14:10, 24).

He was a real man, yet He died to His natural life and live by the divine life in resurrection. He kept His natural man, the genuine man, on the cross, and lived God’s life. Such a One is our pattern; we learn from Him, and we even learn Him as the reality is in Jesus.

The individual Jesus, the God-man living of Jesus, is now being repeated and reproduced in us, in many men who have been redeemed and regenerated and who now possess the divine life within them.

We all are learning Christ by eating Christ so that the God-man living in Jesus may be reproduced and lived out in us as the corporate living of the perfected God-men, the reality of the Body of Christ. Today we need to choose to eat Christ and be infused with Christ.

There are many temptations constantly; we need the power to refuse them and the power to choose Christ, and this power comes by eating Christ.

As we eat Christ, we are discipled. As we partake of Christ, as we eat Him, we become like Him; He humbled Himself; He became obedient even unto death, and that death of a cross (Phil. 2:8). His life of obedience can be lived out in us as we eat Christ.

We can choose Christ, we can allow Him to apply the cross to our being, and we can express Christ by learning Christ by eating Christ.

May we daily come forward to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for timely help (Heb. 4:16).

Even though He was a Son, learned obedience from the things which He suffered. Heb. 5:8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and that the death of a cross. Phil. 2:8May we realise that the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5). May we exercise our spirit of faith to love the Lord and love the saints.

As Paul did, may we learn to die to live, even live a life of dying to live so that Christ may live in us (Gal. 2:20).

As we die to our natural man and live by our new man with the divine life, we are bountifully supplied by the Spirit of Jesus Christ to live Christ and magnify Christ (Phil. 1:19-21).

The kind of life we live will be the reality of the Body of Christ, the corporate living of the perfected God-men, a corporate God-man living to express Christ.

This is a corporate living, for we are members in the Body of Christ and we are all being perfected and discipled to live Christ, and it is also a mingling living, for we are mingled with Christ.

We are not there yet, but we are in the process of being mingled with the Lord day by day as we are being delivered from ourselves and are transformed and perfected.

Such ones will not despise others nor condemn them, and they will not be bothered by others; rather, they will be the overcomers in the churches, those who live in the reality of the Body of Christ for there to be a corporate living of a God-man life.

May we come to the Lord regarding this and may we offer Him the cooperation He needs for Him to gain this in us and among us in the church life today.

Lord Jesus, we want to learn Christ by being replaced with Christ by eating Christ! Amen, Lord, even as You lived in this world, so we live today! We want to learn from You to deny ourselves, keep our natural man on the cross, and live Christ. We come to You, Lord Jesus, and we want to eat You so that the reality that is in Jesus may become the reality of the Body of Christ! Hallelujah, the God-man living of the individual Jesus becomes the God-man living of the corporate Christ as we eat Christ to enjoy Christ! Amen, Lord, we eat You to enjoy You as our supplying, energising, empowering, and enabling supply! Only by Your bountiful supply can we choose and carry out the will of God for His glory in the church. Mingle Yourself more with us today. Make us the genuine men who are not living by our natural life but by the divine life, the life of the processed God whose attributes are being expressed through our virtues! Amen, Lord, gain the reality of the Body of Christ in us and among us. Gain the God-man living in all the saints for You to obtain a corporate expression of Yourself! Amen!

Learning Christ as the One Meek and Lowly in Heart and as Our Indwelling Secret of Sufficiency to be Discipled by Him to Live Christ as His Genuine Disciples

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses every man's understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Both the Old and the New Testament show us who Christ is, what kind of living He had, and how He is discipling us. We are learning Christ by being awakened by Him morning by morning so that we can have the ear and tongue of an instructed one to sustain the weary with a word (Isa. 50:4-5, 10-11).

As the Lord’s disciples, His instructed ones, we should rely on Him, trust in His name, and not generate our own light.

We need to come to the Lord in the morning to be instructed by Him; we need to let Him awaken our ear to hear as an instructed one. May we not be rebellious nor turn back but let the Lord open our ear.

If we walk in darkness, may we let Him be our light and not make our own man-made light. Enlightenment rests with God’s mercy. We need to want the shining and desire it, and we need to open to the Lord without any condition or reservation.

We need to put a stop to ourselves and, when the light comes, we should not dispute with the light.

Whether the light comes from the Holy Spirit, the word of God, or the ministers of the Word, we should not dispute with the light nor reason with it, but allow the Lord to shine on us.

May we continuously live in the light and be discipled by light, for when the light comes, we see and we hear.

We are learning Christ as the One who is meek and lowly in heart, as the One whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light, and as the One who gives Himself as rest for our souls (Matt. 11:28-30).

We come to Him with all our burdens, and we learn from Him.

We are His followers, and sometimes we’re extremely burdened, even burnt out; this is an indication that we don’t have His yoke on us, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

May we come back to the Lord and learn from Him. We are learning Christ as our indwelling secret of sufficiency to express God’s attributes in Christ’s human virtues, living Him for His magnification in every kind of environment, situation, and circumstance (Phil. 4:5-13).

He is the secret of our sufficiency. In every situation and circumstance we are, we need to learn to be content.

There may be situations in which we’re not content right now, but we need to learn to be content, having the attitude of a learner, a disciple.

Like Paul, we need to learn how to be abased and how to abound in everything; Christ is the secret of our sufficiency.

The only way we can be content in our Christian life and church life is by learning Christ as the secret of our sufficiency.

We are learning Christ as the One who desires mercy according to His loving and forgiving heart and His shepherding and seeking spirit (Matt. 9:12-13).

The Lord Jehovah has given me / The tongue of the instructed, / That I should know how to sustain the weary with a word. / He awakens me morning by morning; / He awakens my ear / To hear as an instructed one. The Lord Jehovah has opened my ear; / And I was not rebellious, / Nor did I turn back. Isa. 50:4-5We learn from Him, the most wonderful One, the One who is our Physician and our Shepherd.

The Lord’s disciples who followed Him for three and a half years saw what He did, how He behaved, and how He spoke; the Spirit of life and of reality who was breathed into them (John 20:22) would guide them into all the reality of what they had observed of the Lord (16:13).

Now the Spirit of reality is here, guiding us in the reality of all that Christ is. The Lord Jesus was a person living a human life in resurrection, not by Himself but by another source, that is, His Father; when we live in our humanity by another life, by the Christ who indwells us, this kind of living makes us the Lord’s genuine disciples.

The disciples of the Lord have the real presence of the Triune God as their exceeding joy to make them persons who are “Jesusly human,” those who are sweet, charming, and attractive to those whom they contact, without any deception or hypocrisy (Matt. 1:23; Psa. 43:4; Rom. 14:17; Neh. 8:10; Phil. 1:25; 4:5, 8-9; 1 Tim. 4:15-16).

We become even as He is, and we will never contact others with a cheerless countenance. As followers of Christ, are discipled through Christ’s human living on the earth, as the model of a God-man—living God by denying Himself in humanity (John 5:19, 30), which revolutionises our concept concerning man (Phil. 3:10; 1:21a).

May we learn Christ and be discipled by Him daily!

Lord Jesus, awaken us morning by morning so that we can have the ear and tongue of an instructed one to sustain the weary with a word! Amen, Lord, as Your disciples, as Your instructed ones, we rely on You, we trust in Your name, and we do not generate our own light but come to You to receive light. Shine on us. We welcome Your shining. We stop our being and we agree with Your shining. Disciple us by Your shining. Oh Lord Jesus, we want to learn Christ as the One who is meek and lowly in heart! We want to learn Christ as the One whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light! We come to You to receive rest and peace, even to find rest for our souls. Lord Jesus, we want to learn Christ as our indwelling secret of sufficiency so that we may express God’s attributes through our human virtues! Make us those who live Christ for His magnification in every kind of environment and situation! Amen, Lord, disciple us. May we live a human life in resurrection, a life not by ourselves but by Christ as our life! Make us Your genuine disciples, those who are Jesusly human, expressing You without any deception or hypocrisy! Amen!

    – I have learned the wondrous secret / Of abiding in the Lord; / I have tasted life’s pure fountain, / I am drinking of His word; / I have found the strength and sweetness / Of abiding ’neath the blood; / I have lost myself in Jesus, / I am sinking into God. / I’m abiding in the Lord / And confiding in His word; / I am hiding in the bosom of His love. / Yes, abiding in the Lord / And confiding in His word, / I am hiding in the bosom of His love. (Hymns #564 stanza 1 and chorus)
    – Art thou hung’ring for the fulness / Of the blessing Christ doth give? / Longing now to learn the secret / Of the life He bids thee live? / In His word thine answer standeth, / “Christ who is our Life” it saith; / Open now thy heart, and trust Him, / There to dwell, henceforth, by faith. (Hymns #641 stanza 1)
    – O to be like Thee! full of compassion, / Loving, forgiving, tender and kind, / Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting, / Seeking the wand’ring sinners to find. / O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit, / Holy and harmless, patient and brave; / Meekly enduring cruel reproaches, / Willing to suffer, others to save. (Hymns #398 stanzas 2-3)
