The Ingredients of the Incense typify Christ with His Death and Resurrection

March 22, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

With the composition of both the anointing oil and the incense the principle is nearly the same. However, the anointing oil is for God’s coming to us, and the incense is for our going to God. In the anointing we have the Trinity, divinity, humanity, and the death and resurrection of Christ. In the incense we also have the Trinity, divinity, humanity, and Christ’s death and resurrection. Witness Lee, Life-study of Exodus, msg. 169

As those who love God, seek Him, and desire to experience Him, we need to know what makes Him happy and how can we contribute to the fulfilment of His purpose. What is it that satisfies God’s heart and what contributes to the fulfillment of His purpose? It is Christ, but in a more specific […]

This holy anointing oil is composed of 5 ingredients: olive oil, flowing myrrh, sweet cinnamon, sweet calamus, and cassia. Every ingredient of this compound ointment shows us something very significant about the Spirit. [continue reading online a sister’s sharing from her top enjoyment in the Winter School of Truth[

the precious death of Christ and the sweetness & effectiveness of His death are in the Compound Spirit!

June 14, 2011 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Christ as the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit today is the compound Spirit – He has been “compounded” with all the elements He picked up in the process He went through. In Exodus 30:23-25 we see that there was an anointing oil being compounded according to the work of a compounder – a holy anointing oil which […]
