Keep the Oneness with the Transformed Human Virtues by Drinking the Spirit of Jesus

September 11, 2024 by aGodMan 11 Comments

I beseech you therefore, I, the prisoner in the Lord, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called. Eph. 4:1

The first item of a walk worthy of God’s calling is for us to be diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit with the transformed human virtues strengthened by and with the divine attributes; for this, we need to be transformed and we also need to eat and drink the humanity of Jesus in […]

Having Fellowship unto the Gospel with one Soul without Strife by the Spirit of Jesus

Phil. 1:5 For your fellowship unto the furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now.

The Spirit of Jesus is clearly portrayed in the first two chapters of Philippians; here we see that for us to preach the gospel, have fellowship unto the gospel, and take Christ as our pattern, we need to experience the Spirit of Jesus. We may have never considered the matter of the Spirit of Jesus […]

Drinking the Humanity of Jesus and being Constituted with the Spirit of Jesus

December 28, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The kind of work we do for the Lord depends on the kind of Spirit by whom we are guided, directed, instructed, and constituted.

We need to be those drinking the humanity of Jesus and being constituted with the Spirit of Jesus. As believers in Christ we need to experience and enjoy the Spirit of the humanity of Jesus for our gospel preaching, for the church service, for our daily walk, and for the Lord’s recovery. Many gospel preachers […]

Daily Drinking the Humanity of Jesus to be Jesusly Human in the World for the Church

July 1, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

We must enjoy the Spirit of the humanity of Jesus for the church service, for our daily walk, and for the Lord’s recovery. The believers are the salt of the earth, those who kill and eliminate the earth’s germs of corruption and rottenness; the basic element of the salt is the humanity of Jesus. The believers are the light of the world, those who let their light shine before men to dispel the world’s darkness; we can be the light only by taking the humanity of Jesus. Witness Lee

It will make a great difference in our Christian life and work when we realize that the humanity we should have – the humanity of Jesus – can be ours only by eating and drinking the humanity of Jesus in the Spirit. Too many Christians have endeavoured to “imitate Jesus” and to “live like Jesus” […]
