Pour out our Soul before the Lord in the Midst of Bitterness to be Produced as Overcomers

April 9, 2022 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Trust in Him at all times, O people; / Pour out your heart before Him; / God is a refuge to us. Selah Psa. 62:8

Hannah’s experience in 1 Sam 1 shows that we need to pour out our soul before the Lord in the midst of our bitterness, and the Lord will have a way to produce us as His overcomers. The first chapter of 1 Samuel is so significant and applicable in our Christian experience, for here […]

As we Breathe in the Lord, His Spirit comes in to Enliven us and Form us as His Army

When Ezekiel prophesied the first time (Ezek. 37:7), there was a noise and a rattling, and all the bones came together; when we come together in the meetings and make a joyful noise by calling on the Lord and praising Him (Psa. 95:1; cf. Lam. 3:55-56; John 20:22; Hymns, #255), we are truly one. When Ezekiel prophesied the second time (Ezek. 37:10), the breath came into the “very dry” (v. 2, cf. v. 11) and dead bones, “and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (v. 10), to fight the battle for God. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 1

In Ezek. 37 God told the prophet to prophesy His word over the dead bones, and then the wind, the breath, and the Spirit came; we need to exercise to prophesy God’s word, breathe in the Lord, and allow God to breathe out His word and His Spirit for His purpose to be fulfilled. A […]

The Consummated Spirit as the Breath is Everything to us in Living the Christian Life

December 10, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

I am breathing every moment, / Drawing all my life from Thee; / Breath by breath I live upon Thee, / Lord, Thy Spirit breathe in me. Hymns 255 by A. B. Simpson

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). How can we touch and enjoy God today? It is by exercising our spirit to touch and enjoy God in Christ as Spirit. Where and what is God today? God is in Christ, and Christ […]

Christ became the Spirit to Breathe Himself into us: Receive the Holy Breath!

December 9, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

One of the most crucial points of the major items of the Lord’s recovery today is the consummated Spirit, what the Bible calls, “the Spirit” (John 7:39; Rev. 22:17). The matter of the consummated Spirit is also one of the most neglected and misused matters in today’s Christianity. God dwells in unapproachable light, and no […]

Only the Spirit can Live the Christian Life, so Breathe in the Life-Giving Spirit!

Only the Spirit can Live the Christian Life, so Breathe in the Life-Giving Spirit! John 20:22 And when He has said this, He breathed into them and said to them, receive the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus promised the disciples that He will send the Spirit of reality as another Comforter (see John 14:15-16, 26; 15:26; 16:7-8, 13), and after His resurrection He came among His disciples and breathed into them saying, Receive the Holy Spirit (John 20:22). The expected Spirit in John 7:39 and the promised Spirit in […]

Calling on the Name of the Lord is our Spiritual Breathing in our Christian Life

October 31, 2013 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Calling on the Name of the Lord is our Spiritual Breathing in our Christian Life. Rom. 10:13, For everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved!

Many believers (and unbelievers alike) have asked themselves, How can one live the Christian life? How can a man pray unceasingly? How can a human being be different and express God? Humanly, this is impossible. But because all the genuine believers in Christ have God’s divine life in them, it is possible. The way to […]

Let Us Return to the Lord: He will Enliven us, Bind us up, and Restore us!

Let Us Return to the Lord: He will Enliven us, Bind us up, and Restore us! [based on Hosea 6:1-2]

The aspiration for revival and restoration can be seen everywhere in the Bible, and especially in the Minor Prophets. On the one hand, Habakkuk prayed for revival (Hab. 3:2); on the other hand, Hosea speaks of, Let us return to Jehovah… on the third day He will raise us up and we will live in […]
