Every year towards the end we gather together with the young people to enjoy the Lord and get into the truth. It’s so good to have a week set aside in which we are being sanctified, renewed, and we also blend with saints from other countries and localities! Below is brother Mateusz’ testimony from his top enjoyment in the Winter School of Truth 2010.
In this past winter school of truth, I was touched by the following three things:
- The completeness of the Bible. Bible does not hide anything. In the Lord Jesus’ genealogy it says that His ancestor was Solomon, who was born of David and Urias’ wife, Bathsheba. This history was not very glorious but it’s recorded in the Bible. If the Bible were written by men, they surely would have not included the sinful deeds of their forefathers. So, this proves that the Bible is the Word of God.
- People loved the Bible so much that they would even die for it. William Tyndale translated the Bible into English. At that time people were not allowed to possess the Bible, so the Pope made up his mind to buy all the copies Tyndale had(to do away with them). But Tyndale sold them at a price which was four times higher – this allowed him to print out four times more copies! Eventually, he was caught, and when being burnt at the stake, he prayed: “Lord, open the eyes of the King of England.” What he did contributed eventually to the producing of King James Version several years later.
- The Bible Code – Ivan Panin(a Russian Mathematician) knew that each letter in Hebrew corresponds to a number, and he discovered that the sum of each word in the Bible can be divided by seven! Wow – Only God could have the Bible written this way.

Bardzo poruszyły mnie 3 rzeczy:
- Gdy mówiliśmy o kompletności. Biblia nic nie ukrywa. W rodowodzie Pana Jezusa napisane jest, że jego przodkami był Salomon, który został zrodzony z Dawida i żony Uriasza – Betszeby. Historia była dość nie chlubna ale jest zawarta w Biblii. Gdyby zaś Biblię pisali ludzie na pewno nie zawarliby w niej grzesznych czynów swoich przodków, więc jest to dowód na to, że Biblia jest słowem Bożym.
- Ludzie kochali Biblę do takiego stopnia, że byli w stanie za nią zginąć. William Tyndale przetłumaczył Biblię na j. angielski. W tamtych czasach nie można było posiadać Biblii, dlatego papież postanowił wykupić wszystkie egzemplarze jakie Tyndale posiadał. Jednak ten sprzedał mu je za czterokrotnie większą sumę i w ten sposób Tyndale wydrukował czterokrotnie więcej egzemplarzy Biblii! W końcu został złapany, a gdy palił się na stosie modlił się: “Panie otwórz oczy króla Anglii” i dzięki temu kilkadziesiąt lat póżniej powstał przekład autoryzowany Króla Jakuba.
- Ivan Panin wiedział, że każda litera w języku hebrajskim odpowiada jakiejś liczbie i odkrył, że suma każdego słowa dzieli się przez 7. Tylko Bóg mógł sprawić aby Biblia została napisana w ten właśnie sposób.
