The Man-child as the Stronger ones in God’s People will be Raptured to God’s Throne

And she brought forth a son, a man-child, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne. Rev. 12:5

The man-child is composed of the dead overcoming saints, those who are the stronger part among God’s people, who have overcome, and who have died; these will be raptured before the great tribulation to the throne of God to rule with the Lord and wage war against His enemy, even to bring in God’s kingdom.

Lord Jesus, we aspire to be Your overcoming saints today. We open to You. Oh Lord, we are the weak ones, for in ourselves we cannot do much and we cannot be what You want us to be. But we come to You. We allow You to be everything to us and do everything in us. Gain us and gain many saints to be overcoming saints, those who overcome in our situations. May we live in the principle of the man-child today so that we may be raptured by You when You return secretly! Amen!

This week we are focusing our attention on Revelation chapter 12 to see Christ, experience Christ, enjoy Christ, and express Christ as those who are members of the Body of Christ, joined to Christ as one spirit.

In particular, we want to see the man-child, the war in heaven, and the overcoming saints. When we come to the book of Revelation in particular, we need to exercise our spirit more than we exercise our mind.

It is easy to see signs, wars, beasts, and all kinds of judgments; it is not easy and it is not natural for us to see Christ.

But we want to see Christ on every page of the Bible, and especially in Revelation, for the whole Bible is a book on Christ, and the all-inclusive Christ is seen clearly in His word.

If we read and pray, pray and read, and prayerfully consider Revelation chapter 12, we will be touched by the Lord concerning the need for us to be His overcoming saints.

We will see something concerning the man-child, the war that takes place in heaven, and the overcoming saints, and our aspiration is to be those who overcome today.

What God is after is not merely the church; yes, what He wants to gain is a built-up church, but it is the overcoming saints who build up the church and it is them who cooperate with the Lord to the uttermost today for the bringing in of the kingdom of God.

We want to be such ones today. We want to give the Lord our best cooperation today so that He may overcome in us, even to express Himself as the Overcomer through us in all our situations.

May the Lord gain us as such ones today. May we give Him our best cooperation today!

The Man-child Signifies the Stronger Ones in God’s People who have Died and are Raptured to God’s Throne

And he who overcomes and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; And he will shepherd them with an iron rod... Rev. 2:26-27

In Revelation 12 we see that there was a bright, universal woman, who was with child, and she was in labour; she was about to give birth.

Verse 5 says that she brought forth a son, a man-child, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.

Who is this man-child? Can we be part of the man-child? What does the man-child signify, and how can we experience, enjoy, and express Christ for us to be the man-child or live in the principle of the man-child?

You then pray in this way: Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth. Rev. 6:9-10According to the entire revelation in God’s word, the man-child signifies the stronger part within the woman, the stronger ones in God’s people.

God has many people, and throughout the ages, He had many who pursued Him, lived in His presence, loved Him, and enjoyed Him.

But among all of God’s people, some were the stronger ones. They were not more special or more zealous; they were just the stronger ones in God’s people.

They received mercy and grace day by day to walk with God, work with God, live before God, have God’s speaking, and cooperate with God for the fulfilment of God’s purpose.

In particular, the stronger ones in God’s people cooperated with God to fight for His interests and bring in His kingdom on earth.

They are considered in the Bible as a collective unit fighting the battle for God and bringing in the kingdom of God down to the earth.

If we read both the Old and the New Testament, we see how there were some among God’s people who were stronger, and the Lord had a way to speak and do things through them.

At the time of the patriarchs in the Old Testament, at the time of Noah, for instance, there must have been many others who were part of God’s people, but only Noah found grace in the eyes of God, and he cooperated with the Lord to the utmost to change the age.

Similarly, in the age of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, there must have been many others in their families who were part of God’s people, but God had a way to mainly deal with these ones, and they were part of the fulfilment of God’s purpose in that age.

Even at the time of David, Elijah, and Jeremiah, the majority of God’s people were genuine, and many among them loved God, kept the law, and sought after God.

But only David, Elijah, and Jeremiah were the strong ones among God’s people, and they were part of the man-child.

It is the same in the New Testament; at the time of the early disciples, there were many believers in Christ, but it was mainly those who were mentioned in Acts that God could use to propagate Christ, open new countries, set up His kingdom, and spread the church life.

Even today, there are millions of genuine believers in Christ, and so many of them are in all kinds of denominations, free groups, ministries, and so-called churches.

However, who are the strong ones today? Who are the strong ones in God’s people whom God can use?

Who today sees God’s purpose, His interest on the earth, and fights one with the Lord for His kingdom to come and His will to be done?

All genuine believers in Christ today are part of the woman; the woman is bright and universal. But within the woman, within the body of God’s people today, there are some who are stronger, the stronger part of the woman.

These are the man-child, those whom God can use to move, work, and do things within man and among man for His glory and to bring in His kingdom. We want to be such ones today.

And a great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon underneath her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; And she was with child, and she cried out, travailing in birth and being in pain to bring forth...And she brought forth a son, a man-child, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne. Rev. 12:1-2, 5In particular, the man-child represents the stronger ones in God’s people who overcame, fought the battle for God, brought in God’s kingdom, and they also died.

The fact that the man-child is brought forth means that the overcomers who compose the man-child will be resurrected. In the Bible, woman signifies the weaker one and man the stronger one (1 Pet. 3:7).

The man-child in Revelation 12 signifies the stronger part of God’s people. Such ones live one with the Lord, live Christ, express Christ, and fight for God’s interest on earth, cooperating with God to bring in the kingdom to the earth.

The man-child is to shepherd the nations with an iron rod (Rev. 2:26-27); this indicates that the man-child consists of the overcomers.

This should really bring us to the Lord so that we may say Amen to His word and give Him our best cooperation today for Him to produce us as His overcoming saints.

We want to live in the principle of the man-child today so that, when He returns, we will be raptured to the throne.

Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You today. We aspire to be Your overcomers in this age. Make us Your overcoming saints. May we live in the principle of the man-child today. May we see something of Your purpose and give You our best cooperation today. Oh Lord, we are the weak ones, those who cannot do anything apart from You. We depend on You. We come to You and we cast all our anxieties on You. We depend on You for everything. We take You as our life. We take You as our person. We love You and we love Your interest on the earth. We love Your economy. We are one with You today, dear Lord, to fight for Your interest on earth. We desire Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done. Oh Lord, by Your mercy and grace, make us the strong part of Your people, Your overcoming saints today. We do not want to be strong in ourselves but we do want to be strengthened into the inner man to be the stronger part of the woman today! Amen, Lord, our aspiration is to be raptured at Your secret coming, before the great tribulation, to fight one with You to bring in Your kingdom on the earth!

The Man-Child is Raptured to God’s Throne before the Great Tribulation

That God has fully fulfilled this promise to us their children in raising up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son; this day have I begotten You." Acts 13:33

We thank the Lord that He has reached us, redeemed us, saved us, and brought us into the church life to enjoy Him and experience Him together with all the saints.

We are truly in the right place for us to open to the Lord to be produced as part of the man-child, even those who live in the principle of the man-child today.

As we see this age drawing to a close, as we see the signs of the Lord’s coming, we want to open to the Lord and grant Him the best cooperation for us to be His overcoming saints in this age.

We want to be part not only of the woman (Rev. 12) but even more, of the man-child (v. 5). The man-child consists of the overcomers as mentioned in Revelation 2:26-27.

The fact that the man-child is brought forth indicates that those composing the man-child have died and the Lord resurrects them and raptures them to His throne.

This is similar to what we see in Acts 13:33-34; the Lord Jesus was brought forth in His resurrection to be the firstborn Son of God.

He was already the only begotten Son of God in His divinity, but in His resurrection He was brought forth to be the firstborn Son of God, even the Son of God in His humanity and with His humanity.

To the Lord Jesus, His resurrection was a birth; He was begotten of God to be God’s firstborn Son (Psa. 2:7).

He was already the only begotten Son of God with divinity, but through His resurrection, He was begotten as the firstborn Son of God with both divinity and humanity.

In the same principle, the overcoming saints who cooperate with the Lord in their lifetime and are the stronger ones in God’s people, the stronger part of the woman, and then they die, they will be resurrected by Christ at His secret coming.

If we are an overcomer today and live until the Lord comes back, we will not be part of the man-child; we may be among the firstfruits mentioned in Revelation 14.

But if we receive the Lord’s mercy and grace today to live one spirit with Him and overcome, and we die before the Lord returns, He will rapture us as part of the man-child to the throne.

The man-child is caught up to God and to His throne; this means that he was raptured. This rapture of the man-child differs from that of the majority of the believers mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

The majority of the believers are raptured to the air and at the last trumpet (1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thes. 4:16), which is the seventh trumpet (Rev. 11:15).

But the man-child is raptured to the throne of God and before the one thousand two hundred sixty days, which is the three and a half years of the great tribulation (forty-two months, see Rev. 12:14; 13:5; 11:2).

Because the Lord Himself, with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are living, who are left remaining, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will be always with the Lord. 1 Thes. 4:16-17The Lord will rapture the man-child before the great tribulation; first, He will resurrect them, the dead overcoming saints, and He will rapture them to His throne.

We do not want to be here during the great tribulation; it will be a tribulation and judgment as we have never seen before, and the earth will not be a pleasant place to be.

So we want to give the Lord the cooperation He needs today. We are part of God’s people, but we see that His interest is not carried out on earth and His kingdom is rejected.

So we give Him the first place, we give ourselves to Him to allow His kingdom to come and His will be done in us. We pursue the Lord. We want to gain Him. We want to be transformed. And we fight for His interest today.

We pray for His kingdom to come. We fight for His kingdom.

We are not here to do great works and change entire nations by our work; we want to be the beachhead for the Lord to have a way to return and change this age. We simply want to be the Lord’s overcoming saints in this age!

Lord Jesus, we aspire to be Your overcomers in this age who are raptured by You before the great tribulation! Amen, Lord, we give ourselves to You today. We give ourselves to just love You, enjoy You, be filled with You, and cooperate with You for Your interest on earth. May Your kingdom come in our life. May Your perfect will be done in our life. May Your kingdom spread on earth. We stand for Your interest here on earth. We desire You to bring in Your kingdom and exercise Your authority. Oh Lord, even though the evil one seems to be so prevailing in this age, for he usurps everything and everyone today, we want to be Your overcoming saints who hasten Your coming! May we be the beachhead for You to return and end this age! We love You and we want to be with You! We love You so much that we desire to be in Your presence, even Your secret presence, when You return! Amen, Lord, may we be those who are ready for rapture, ready to be taken by You at Your secret coming! Come, dear Lord Jesus!

Revelation 12:5 says that the woman “brought forth” the man-child. Brought forth here signifies resurrection, as in Acts 13:33-34. The man-child is composed of the overcoming saints who have died and who have been resurrected. This is proved by the words unto death in Revelation 12:11. The Lord Jesus was brought forth in resurrection to be the firstborn Son of God. To Him that was a birth. Acts 13:33 and 34, a quotation of Psalm 2:7, reveal that when He was resurrected, He was begotten as the firstborn Son of God. Prior to that, He was the only begotten Son of God with divinity, but through His resurrection He was begotten as the firstborn Son of God with both divinity and humanity. All the overcomers who die will be part of the man-child. By resurrection the man-child will come into full existence…If you are an overcomer today and live until the Lord comes back, you will not be a part of the man-child. Instead, you may be among the firstfruits mentioned in Revelation 14. But if you are an overcomer and die before the Lord comes back, you will be resurrected to be part of the man-child.

Revelation 12:5 also says that the man-child “was caught up to God and to His throne.” To be caught up is to be raptured. The rapture of the man-child differs from that of the majority of the believers, which is mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. There, the majority of the believers are raptured to the air and at the last trumpet (1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thes. 4:16), which is the seventh trumpet (Rev. 11:15). But here, the man-child is raptured to the throne of God and before the one thousand two hundred and sixty days, which is the time of the great tribulation of three and a half years (forty-two months, 12:14; 13:5; 11:2), beginning from the sixth seal, before the fifth trumpet (9:1).

May we receive the Lord’s grace and mercy today to be His overcoming saints, the stronger part of the woman, those who cooperate with Him to fight for His interest and bring in His kingdom.

We want to live in the principle of the man-child so that we may be raptured to His throne at His secret coming.

Oh Lord Jesus, gain us and gain so many saints to be Your overcoming ones today. We are the weak ones, Lord, but we give ourselves to You. May we be part of the stronger ones among God’s people today, those who cooperate with You and fight one with You!

Amen Lord! We give ourselves to You to produce Your overcomers! Give us the experiences we need to be part of the man-child and keep us in the principle of the man-child in the church life! May we learn to cooperate with You in Your economy!

In Rev. 2:26-27, whereas the woman (the weaker vessel) represents the totality of God’s people, the man-child as the stronger part of the woman signifies the stronger part of God’s people – composed of the overcoming saints who have died and who have been resurrected!

May we all today be encouraged in His grace to cooperate with His work in and on us to be strong! Strong in spirit to fight, strong as kings to reign with Christ over the nations with an iron rod!

Oh Lord, strengthen our faith and stand in Thee! Strengthen us in all our weaknesses to come daily to Thy Throne of grace! Strengthen us with might into our inner man! Strengthen our love for Thee and the church, Thy body kingdom! Bring us to Your throne and reign! Lord, grant us a living in the principle of the man-child – Your overcoming one’s today!

Amen, Lord Jesus may we be the stronger ones who fight one with You

The man-child indicates the stronger ones, we must be encouraged to be not only part of the woman but the man-child as resurrected overcomers.

Heaven is waiting for us to arrive and engage with the enemy, Satan, by taking the word of God and preaching. Before we can do this we must defeat the enemy here on earth by not being indifferent.

Lord we praise You, may we fast out the enemy today. Thank You that we can be in the position to be Your overcomers

Among God’s people there have always been some stronger ones like Noah, Elijah, and Jeremiah.

These are those who overcame and kept God’s works to the end, who having died will be part of the man-child to be resurrected and raptured to the throne of God.

Those who are alive at that time will be firstfruits to God, but the majority of believers will meet the Lord in the air at the last trumpet.

O Lord in this age cause us to be strong to be among those in the local churches today fighting the battle for God and bringing Your Kingdom to the earth! Amen. Lord gain our cooperation according to Your mercy and grace to be such ones fighting for Your Kingdom!

To be a stronger Christian, we need to be dependent on Him. All overcomers cannot be a man-child, but only the dead overcomers can be a man-child.

Jesus Christ is the firstborn or fruit of God among the dead, who has been taken to the throne. A man-child will also be resurrected to be taken to the throne.

Praise the Lord for His mercy upon us.
