God’s eternal economy is to dispense Himself as the law of the Spirit of life into man so that His divine attributes of righteousness, holiness, and glory would become man’s human virtues for God’s corporate expression; God’s intention related to man is carried out by His life through His divine dispensing.
Lord Jesus, unveil us to see a vision of God’s eternal economy! May we realise that God is not only after something outward or the improvement of our behaviour but after working Himself into us! Amen, Lord, we open to You today! We open to be filled with You! Dispense Yourself into us as the law of the Spirit of life so that Your divine attributes would become our human virtues! Make us part of Your corporate expression of God as the reality of the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to live in the reality of the Body of Christ in the local churches to consummate the New Jerusalem as the city of righteousness, holiness, and glory! Amen!
This week in our morning revival we come to the last week on the topic of, The ministry of the Word and God’s dispensing for God’s economy.
Our topic this week is, The Dispensing of the Triune God as Life into the Tripartite Man according to His Righteousness, through His Holiness, and unto His Glory.
We want the Lord to be our Omega as we finish this topic, and we don’t want to put it aside, for God’s entire economy depends on His dispensing. God’s economy is His dispensing, and the ministry of God’s word is God’s dispensing.
We saw the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy. We are eternally blessed if we remain under the divine dispensing.
We simply need to remain here, cooperating with the Lord to keep ourselves open to God’s dispensing in all our daily living.
This week we want to see the Grand Canyon of God’s eternal economy so that we may be impressed with what is on God’s heart and also be one with Him for the fulfillment of His eternal intention.
May the Lord unveil us to see something fresh and new concerning God’s dispensing, the dispensing of the Triune God as life into us, the tripartite man, according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto His glory.
Amen, Lord, unveil us to see this and bring us into this experience today!
God’s Economy is to Dispense Himself as the Law of the Spirit of Life into Man so that His Attributes Become our Virtues for God’s Corporate Expression
May the Lord remove any veils from our eyes for us to see a vision of God’s eternal economy.
If our country has an economy, which is complex and multifaceted, God also has a greater economy, even a universally vast economy, spanning from eternity, into time, and back into eternity.
There are many ways to define God’s economy and explain it, for it is so vast. God’s eternal economy is to dispense Himself as the law of the Spirit of life into man so that His divine attributes of righteousness, holiness, and glory would become man’s human virtues for God’s corporate expression (Gen. 2:9; John 10:10b; 14:6a; 1 Cor. 15:45b; Rom. 8:2; 2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21:2, 9-11). Amen!
God dispenses Himself as the law of the Spirit of life to obtain His corporate expression as the reality of the Body of Christ in the local churches to consummate the New Jerusalem as the city of righteousness, holiness, and glory. Wow! Amen!
The city of New Jerusalem will be the consummation of God’s three main attributes: righteousness, holiness, and glory. As 2 Peter 3:13 tells us, we are expecting a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells; the New Jerusalem will be the city of righteousness.
May we see a vision of God’s economy and may we open to Him so that He, as the law of the Spirit of life, would work Himself into us by means of His divine dispensing so that He may obtain a corporate expression of Himself.
God’s desire is to work Himself into us, His chosen people, to such an extent that He becomes us and we become Him! Wow!
He wants to dispense Himself into us and work Himself into our being until we and He become completely identical in life, nature, and image; this is the pinnacle of His economy (John 1:12-13; 2 Pet. 1:4; 2 Cor. 3:18).
He first dispenses His divine life into us, and we become children of God. With His life comes His divine nature; we are partakers of the divine nature to be enjoyers of the divine nature.
What God is made of, His very nature, is revealed in the Bible as Spirit, love, and light.
John 4:24 tells us that God is Spirit; Spirit is the nature of God’s person. 1 John 4:8 and 16 tell us that God is love; love is the nature of God’s essence.
And 1 John 1:5 tells us that God is light; light is the nature of God’s expression. To partake of the divine nature is to partake of God as Spirit (the nature of His person), love (the nature of His being), and light (the nature of His expression).
To partake of God as the Spirit, we need to exercise our spirit to worship Him in spirit and truthfulness.
We worship God in spirit and in truthfulness; we exercise our spirit and we have the divine reality becoming our genuineness and sincerity for the true worship of God.
What we need to do is exercise our spirit to contact God in our spirit.
We partake of God as love by loving the Lord, exercising our heart to love Him and turning our heart to Him. As we enjoy God as Spirit and as love, we have Him as light, for He shines on us.
We need to ask the Lord as the Spirit of reality to guide us into the reality of the divine nature of God. His desire is to work Himself into us to the extent that He constitutes us with Himself; He becomes us, and we become Him, the same as He is.
We are becoming the same as He is, identical with Him, in life, nature, and image. He gave us His life, we have His nature, and as we remain open to His divine dispensing as the Spirit of life, we bear His image, that is, we express Him corporately.
Lord Jesus, grant us to see a vision of Your eternal economy so that we may open to Your divine dispensing today. Dispense Yourself into us as the law of the Spirit of life into us so that Your divine attributes may become our human virtues! Amen, Lord Jesus, may God’s divine attributes of righteousness, holiness, and glory become our virtues for God’s corporate expression! Yes, Lord, gain Your corporate expression as the reality of the Body of Christ in the local churches today to consummate the New Jerusalem! Praise the Lord, God is gaining the New Jerusalem as the city of righteousness, holiness, and glory! Amen, Lord, for Your purpose, we open to You! Work Yourself into us to the extent that You become us and we become You! Make us completely identical in life, nature, and image as we remain under Your divine dispensing! Praise the Lord, God is dispensing Himself into us as the law of the Spirit of life to make us the same as He is for the fulfillment of His economy so that He may gain a corporate expression of Himself! Amen!
We are Living Vessels to Receive and Contain God as Life and be the Reproduction of God in Life
We human beings were created in the image of God to be a living vessel (Gen. 1:26). God created us in a very specific way. He formed man of the dust of the ground; this was man’s body.
Then, He breathed the breath of life into man’s nostrils, and man became a living soul. The breath of life is man’s spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 tells us that we have a spirit, a soul, and a body.
As we see in Genesis 2:7, God breathed the breath of life into man, and as seen in Proverbs 20:27, the spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah.
The spirit in the original is neshamah, which refers to the spirit of man. It is God who lights our lamp; He is the One who needs to come into us to light our lamp.
We men were created in the image of God as a living vessel to receive God and contain God as life to be the reproduction, the duplication, of God in life (Gen. 1:26; 2:7; Rom. 9:21, 23; 2 Cor. 4:7; John 12:24).
In the book of Romans in particular, we see how we’re living vessels to contain God as life and be His reproduction in life. Romans 8:2 we see the Spirit of life; before this mention of the Spirit of life we have Romans 1:17 saying that the righteous shall have life and live by faith.
This denotes the divine life. Then in 2:7 we are told that, to those who by endurance in good works seek glory and honour and incorruptibility, life eternal. If we continually seek God, He will give us eternal life.
In Romans 5:10 we are told that we will be much more saved in His life, and verse 17 from the same chapter says that, as we receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, we will reign in life.
Verse 18 continues to mention life – justification of life, and verse 21 speaks of grace reigning unto eternal life. In 6:4 we are told to walk in newness of life, and in 22-23 we see that the eternal life is the end of sanctification and that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In the first six chapters of Romans, there are many references to the divine life, for life is the goal of God’s salvation.
God redeemed us, justified us, and reconciled us so that we may have His life, that is, share the divine life. Once we receive the divine life, we should be saved in life, reign in life, walk in newness of life, and be sanctified in life.
But in Romans 8:2 we see that the Spirit is joined with life – the Spirit of life. How can we have the divine life? It is by having the Spirit, for the Spirit is of life, the Spirit dispenses life into us, and the Spirit is life.
We are saved in HIs life by the Spirit of life, we reign in life by the Spirit, we walk in newness of life by the Spirit, and we are sanctified in life by the Spirit. Life belongs to the Spirit, the Spirit is of life, and the Spirit dispenses life into us.
We can never separate the Spirit, whom Christ became after His resurrection, from life. The Lord Jesus said that it is the Spirit who gives life; the words He has spoken to us are Spirit and are life (John 6:63).
The Spirit and life are connected. Life is not only in God; life is dispensed into us, as we see in Romans 8. We are living vessels to receive and contain God as the Spirit of life.
In Romans 8:2 we see the Spirit of life, in verse 6 we see that the mind set on the spirit is life, and in verse 11 we are told that the indwelling Spirit will give life to our mortal bodies.
First, the Spirit is of life, and life is in the Spirit. Then, the Spirit comes into our spirit, making our spirit life. As we set our mind on our spirit, our mind becomes life, and even our body will be filled with God’s life.
This is a fourfold life: life is the Spirit, then life is in our spirit to make our spirit life, then life spreads in our mind to make our mind life, and finally, the Spirit imparts life into our mortal bodies to make the body of sin a body of life.
The focus of it all is the Holy Spirit indwelling our spirit. As long as we exercise our spirit and touch the Spirit of life, the Spirit imparts life to our mind to make our mind life, and He also imparts life to our body to fill our body with life.
We will become a man of life. We were created in the image of God as a living vessel to receive and contain God as life, so that we may become the reproduction, the duplication of God in life. Our whole being will be filled with life, and God will obtain His corporate expression in life.
Lord Jesus, we love You and we open to You to partake of what You are in spirit. Thank You for coming into us as the Spirit of life, the Spirit who gives life. Praise the Lord, life is in God, and God comes to us as the Spirit to give us life! Lord Jesus, we set our mind on our spirit. We set our mind on the mingled spirit so that You as life may spread from our spirit into our mind. Saturate our mind with Yourself as life. May the Holy Spirit indwelling our spirit spread as life from our spirit into our mind and throughout our whole soul! Amen, Lord, spread as life into our mind, emotion, and will. Spread as life into our body to fill our body with life! Hallelujah for the fourfold life, the life of God in the Spirit of life spreading into all our being to make our whole being life! Amen, Lord, keep us under the continual dispensing of life by the Spirit of life from our spirit into our soul and even into our body! We want to be a living vessel receiving, containing, and expressing God as life today! Amen!
