For us to enjoy the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us, we need to enter into and keep ourselves standing in the grace of Christ, which is the Triune God as our enjoyment; day by day we need to open to the Lord to hear His words of grace to experience the Father gracing us and to enjoy the descending dew of the grace of life.
Lord Jesus, we love You and we open to You. We want to keep ourselves in the grace of God, even standing in the grace of God. We come to You to just enjoy You. You are our life and our life supply. Grant us the grace we need for today so that we may live Christ and experience Christ. Amen, Lord, we want to enter into grace and keep ourselves in the grace of Christ! May the Triune God be our enjoyment today. Keep us in the realm of grace to enjoy grace and experience grace. May our living be the living of grace. Amen, Lord, grace us today and flow through us as grace! Amen!
We need to learn to cooperate with the Lord in our daily living so that we may enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity into our being. This means that we need to spend time with the Lord; we need to spend an adequate amount of personal time with the Lord day by day.
May we have a personal, affectionate, private, and spiritual fellowship with the Lord in our time with Him. As we spend time with the Lord, we are filled with Him, we are saturated with Him, and His loving essence fills us so that we may shepherd others.
Actually, it is Him in us shepherding others; we simply remain under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity. On our side, we need to cooperate with the Lord, and on His side, He is always dispensing what He is into us.
As we love the Lord, we are kept in the realm and sphere of Jesus’ humanity. The perfect, uplifted, and noble humanity of Jesus is expressed through us as we keep ourselves under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity by loving the Lord.
Our living will become a reproduction of the human living of Christ, not because we do it deliberately or consciously but because Christ lives in us.
Even our humanity is safeguarded when we love the Lord; as we love Him, we are restrained in what we do and not do, what we say and don’t say, because His love restrains us and constrains us.
May we be kept here, in the realm of loving the Lord so that He may be expressed through us and we may have the Jesusly human virtues manifested in us.
Enter into and Keep Ourselves Standing in the Grace of Christ, the Triune God as our Enjoyment
In order for us believers in Christ to enjoy the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us, we need to enter into and keep ourselves standing in the grace of Christ, which is the Triune God as our enjoyment (Rom. 5:2).
We have access into this grace in which we stand. We stand in grace. Through Christ we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. Grace is not only something we enjoy; grace can be a realm in which we stand; we stand in the realm of grace.
To enjoy the divine dispensing, we need to keep ourselves standing in grace.
Many times we realise we are not in grace; we are somewhere else, and we do not have the enjoyment of the Triune God. So we stop and turn, even return to the Lord to stand in grace.
We are about to maybe quarrel with our wife or have an exchange of words with our neighbour; as soon as we have an inner registration about this, we return to grace.
It may be out of nowhere that an argument starts, and we are aware that we’re not in grace; we need to return and stand in grace.
Whenever we sense we are not in the realm of grace, may we realise that we can simply apply the Lord’s precious blood and return to grace.
It is not just something sinful that will cut us from grace; if we only stay in one place for a little too long, we will sense that we are no longer in the realm of grace but in another sphere.
What should we do? We should just say, Lord, forgive me; bring me back to the realm of grace. Bring me back to the enjoyment of the Triune God in Christ as my life and my everything!
We initially entered into this grace through justification by faith, and it is the same now: whenever we’re not in the realm of grace, we can just apply the blood by confessing our sins and enter into the realm of grace.
Again and again, we need to repent and return to the Lord to keep ourselves standing in the realm of grace.
Day by day we need the Lord to open our ears and cause us to hear the words of grace proceeding out of His mouth so that we may experience the Father’s gracing us with His grace in the Beloved and can give grace to those who hearus (Eph. 1:6; Isa. 50:4-5; S. S. 8:13; Luke 4:22; Acts 20:32; Eph. 4:29).
First, we come to the Lord and ask Him to open our ears to hear the words of grace coming from Him. We may even ask Him to cause us to hear the words of His grace.
Words of grace proceed out of His mouth; when we have His fresh speaking, we are being graced in Christ, the Beloved. When we’re standing in grace, we can also give grace to those who hear us. This is our experience day by day.
When we come to the Lord in His word, we touch Him, and we have more grace. We stand in grace. We ask the Lord to give us the tongue of the instructed, so that we may know how to sustain the weary with a word.
Many times when we are with the Lord, we may be going through some hard situation that we can’t even open up to some of the brothers, and we may feel quite alone in our problems and troubles.
It is very personal, and we may not be able to disclose to anyone. But then we come to God’s word and read one verse, even one phrase from a verse, and this word becomes rhema to us, giving us grace.
We even begin to weep, for this is the word that the Lord gives to us as grace; words of grace come from His mouth. We just thank the Lord and are energised by His word, and we even boast in God!
In the realm of grace, as we keep ourselves standing in grace, we boast in God (Rom. 5:11).
To boast in God means to boast, exult, rejoice, and glory in God. We don’t glory in ourselves but rather, as we stand in the realm of grace and walk in the way of peace, we boast, exult, and glory in our God.
He is worthy to be praised. It is Him who gets all the glory. He speaks to us the words of grace. He supplies us with the enjoyment of the Triune God. So we speak what He spoke to us, and we give others words of grace.
We enjoy God as our portion, we take Him as our life, and we boast in Him. He opens our ears to hear Him; He awakens us morning by morning to enjoy His words of grace. Then, we can speak grace to the saints.
As Ephesians 4:29 says, we don’t speak words that are corrupt and bring in corruption but rather, we speak words that give grace to those who hear.
When we are at home with our spouse and our children, when we are at work, wherever we are and whatever we do, we speak words of God.
May we take the Lord’s warning in James 3 and not speak from the same mouth both blessing and cursing; rather, may we speak words of grace as we keep ourselves standing in grace, living by grace, and speaking the words of grace.
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us access into this grace in which we stand. Hallelujah, by faith in Christ and His redemptive work, we have access by faith in this grace in which we stand! Amen, Lord, we want to keep ourselves standing in the grace of God so that we may remain under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity! Remind us to turn, dear Lord. Remind us not to remain too long in another realm, but turn to You and enjoy You as grace. Be our enjoyment today. We want to stop our doing and get out of anywhere that is not of You and simply enjoy You as grace! Oh Lord Jesus, thank You we can repent and return to grace! Keep us in the realm of grace. May we stand in grace and boast in God. Amen, Lord, it is by grace that we are saved, and by grace we live and do all things. You are our only boast. We boast in You, we exult in You, and we glory in You! Hallelujah, as we stand in the realm of grace and walk in the way of peace, we can boast, exult, and glory in our God! Amen, Lord, may we speak words of grace to those around us to bring them also into the enjoyment of the Triune God as grace!
Enjoy the Descending Dew of the Grace of Life in the Church Life to Keep Ourselves in the Genuine Oneness for the Building up of the Body in the Divine Dispensing
Psalm 133 also speaks of grace, but this time in the realm of the Body, even in the realm of the oneness and one accord in the Body. It comes after Psalm 132, where we see God resting and dwelling in His dwelling place, the church.
It is here, in the church, that He wants to gain Zion and Hermon, the peaks, where He can pour out His blessing, life forever.
When Zion is built up and when God is resting there and dwelling in Jerusalem, we have a place where we can gather and where we can dwell together in oneness.
May this be our situation in the meetings of the church so that we may enjoy God’s commanded blessing. How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in oneness!
May we keep ourselves standing in the grace of God both in our Christian life and in our church life.
May we enjoy the descending dew of the grace of life in the church life to keep ourselves in the genuine oneness for the gradual building up of the Body of Christ in the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
On the personal side, we keep ourselves standing in the grace of God, remaining in the realm of enjoying God in Christ as grace.
On the corporate side, together with the saints in the church life, we need to remain in the oneness of the Body of Christ and in one accord so that the church life may be on Mount Zion and be under God’s blessing.
Both the Head and the Body, both Christ and the church, are under the anointing of God’s fine oil, for the oil runs down from the head to the hem of the garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon that came down upon the mountains of Zion. The north wind caused the dew to descend from Hermon to the mountains of Zion.
What is this dew and how does it relate to our experience? The dew signifies the fresh and refreshing grace of God. Such a dew, such a grace, waters us.
As we meet with the saints on the genuine ground of oneness, we enjoy the fresh and refreshing grace of God. Grace simply descends upon us and flows among us.
It is here, in such a situation of oneness and one accord, that God can command the blessing, life forever (v. 3).
In the psalm, this expression may refer to long life, but in spiritual application, it refers to the eternal life.
As we believers in Christ keep ourselves standing in the grace of God and dwell together in oneness in the church life, we enjoy God’s eternal life as a blessing to us.
God commands blessing upon us as we remain in oneness and one accord with the saints.
As we live in the church and practice the church life, may we remain in oneness and in one accord for the Lord to have a way to command the blessing.
On the one hand, we need to have the church life, being in meetings with the saints and functioning in our measure. On the other hand, we need to have the church living, which is a living in oneness and in one accord.
We as brothers and sisters need to exercise our spirit and allow the cross to deal with the natural man and the self so that we may be in one accord in our soul.
When we live and dwell together in oneness, God comes in to bless us with the anointing Spirit, the watering grace, and eternal life.
Hallelujah, we can have the highest living today in the church life, a living that is under God’s blessing!
May we personally enter in and keep ourselves standing in the grace of God and may we have a living in oneness for God to come in to bless us with the anointing Spirit, the watering grace, and the eternal life!
Lord Jesus, thank You for bringing us into the church life to enjoy the grace of life with all the saints! Hallelujah, today we can dwell together with the saints in oneness and one accord to enjoy the descending dew of the grace of life! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to touch You and stand in the grace of God. We want to live by grace, even to speak words of grace to the saints in the church life. May we enjoy the fresh and refreshing grace of God as the dew descending on us as we live the church life today. Hallelujah, the Lord commands the blessing, life forever, upon the saints dwelling in oneness! Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy God’s eternal life commanded by You as a blessing to us today! We want to live the church life in oneness with You and in one accord with the saints. Make the church life today like the peaks of Zion and the Mount Hermon, for You to send Your blessing upon us! Hallelujah, as we dwell together in the church life, we enjoy God’s eternal life commanded by Him as a blessing to us! Amen!
