Experiencing the Continual Transmission of the Ascended Christ by Being Open to Him

December 4, 2013 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Experiencing the Continual Transmission of the Ascended Christ by Being Open to Him. See Eph. 1:22-23

In spiritual things in our Christian life first of all we need to see – we need to have a vision, something from the Lord that impresses us – and then we can enter into the experience of what we have seen.

Paul first saw the divine light and a vision of Christ and His Body, and then the rest of his life he entered into the reality of that vision. When we see a vision of the ascended Christ with all His accomplishments, we will also enter into the experience of what Christ is in His ascension. Christ’s ascension and Christ in His ascension is not only for us to know, appreciate, and see, but also for us to experience in a subjective way.

As Eph. 1:19-23 tells us, Christ ascended far above Hades, the earth, the air, and the heavens, and God gave Him to be Head over all things TO the church. This means that ever since Christ’s ascension there’s a continual transmission from Christ to the church, and all we have to do is be open to receive His divine transmission.

The ascended Christ as the Head over all things is transmitting all that He is and has accomplished to the church, and we need to be good receptacles, open and tuned to God, so that we may enjoy this divine transmission.

Oh, how much we need to see Christ in His ascension and to enter into the subjective experience of Christ in His ascension by being constantly open to His continual transmission!

In His Ascension, Christ Transcends All Things and He Is the Head Over All Things to the Church

Christ’s ascension is so amazing and so rich in significance, with many implications and accomplishments. It is an all-transcending ascension, since in His ascension Christ transcended Hades (the place where dead people are held), the earth (the place where fallen people are moving and doing things against God), the air (the place where Satan and his power of darkness are acting against God), and all the heavens (which is so high yet where Satan can go) – see Eph. 1:20-21; 4:8-10; Heb. 7:26; Job 1:6-12a; 2:1-6.

Christ is now not only in the heavens but He passed through the heavens (Heb. 4:14) and He is higher than the heavens (Heb. 7:26) even far above all the heavens (Eph. 4:10). Wow! And this Christ has been made by God Head over all things TO the church!

As we see in Eph. 1:19-23, God gave Christ to be Head over all things to the church; here, “to the church” implies a transmission from Christ, the Ascended Head, to His Body. Christ in ascension is continually transmitting all that He is and has accomplished to all those who believe, to the church. As we receive His divine transmission, we are headed up in Christ and we are saved from the state of collapse and mess the whole universe is in.

God caused His power to operate in Christ in four steps: first, in raising Him from the dead; second, in seating Him at His right hand in the heavenlies; third, in subjecting all things under His feet; and fourth, in giving Him to be Head over all things to the church (see Eph. 1:20-21). This means that, right now, Christ as the Head has the resurrecting power, the ascending power, the subjecting-of-all-things power, and the heading up power – a fourfold power, which is toward us who believe! Hallelujah!

Do you believe? Christ’s transmission is toward you, reaching you and infusing into you all His accomplishments and all that He is.

Continually Experiencing Christ’s Transmission by Being Open to Him

Continually Experiencing Christ's Transmission by Being Open to Him. See Ephesians 2:6 ...and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

How can we experience the wonderful divine transmission of all that Christ is and has accomplished? We should not only know and believe in the divine transmission but we should also experience it day by day!

As members of the Body of Christ and believers in Christ joined to Him in spirit, we are the church under the transmission of the exalted and ascended Christ. We need to experience the divine transmission day by day, being one with the ascended Christ that He may head up all things in Him for His testimony.

All that God wants is the church to be open to Him and share with Christ in all His attainments, enjoying the resurrection from the dead and its power, being seated in His transcendency, the subjection of all things under Christ’s feet, and the headship over all things. Christ as the Head over all things continually and constantly transmits all He is in His ascension to the church – we simply need to see this and open to Him!

As long as we are clean receptacles (by applying the blood of Christ and by dealing with anything that God’s light exposes in our being) and as long as we are willing to open ourselves, the divine transmission will take place in us (see Eph. 2:6). We simply need to keep ourselves clean and open as receptacles, that we may be continually be receiving His divine transmission and dispensing for the building up of the church as the one new man.

Forget about your situation and your condition: turn your eyes upon Jesus, the Head of the Body, and be infused and transfused with all that He is and has accomplished in His ascension!

We want to be those who are continually receiving Christ’s divine transmission and be one with Him so that He can move in a way that is super-abundantly above all that we can ask or think of. For this, we need to both see and experience Christ in His transmission and dispensing in His ascension.

We not only need to see the ascended Christ and the divine transmission (which includes His precious and fine dispensing), but we need to be those living in this transmission and dispensing to be one with Him for His final move on the earth!

Lord Jesus, we simply open to You to say, Lord, we are here. We love You. We give ourselves to You. Lord, we empty our whole being for You. We just want to experience Your divine transmission today! Keep us open to You this whole day! Cleanse us with Your precious blood, and wash us with the water in Your word that we may be clean. We open as wide as we can, Lord, that we may receive Your divine transmission. Thank You for bringing us into the partaking and sharing of all that You are and have accomplished!

  • Hymns on this topic:
    # Oh, what a might! Oh, what a strength! / God wrought to raise Christ from the dead. / Far above all at His right hand, / O’er all to us He is the Head. / All this great pow’r is to the Church / That she o’er all her foes may tread.
    # God’s Spirit His transmission is, / In Him God enters into us; / It is in Him that God in Christ / May be experienced by us.
    # What’s God’s calling and glory of His inheritance? / What’s the surpassing greatness of His power fourfold? / What’s the transmission of Christ as Head to the church? / What’s His Body, His fullness while He fills all in all? …Grant us spirit of wisdom and of revelation!
    # The Triune God is now transmitting / Himself, this power, us energizing, / In us He is installed; / This dynamo within, the Triune God!
