God needs a corporate people to be raised up by His grace through the high peak of the divine revelation to live a life according to this revelation: a group who practices living the life of a God-man by denying themselves in their humanity and living by Christ in their spirit; this will be the revival, the practicality of the vision we have seen.
Lord Jesus, thank You for granting us a vision of Your eternal economy. May this vision govern and direct our daily living. Amen, Lord, may our daily life be under the vision of the highest peak of the divine revelation. We come to You in Your word: disciple us and make us those who live the same way that You lived. Raise up a corporate people, Lord, by Your grace, to live a life according to this revelation. May we all rise up and practice the vision we have seen so that we may have a revival that will end this age! Amen!
We all want to be revived. We all aspire to be refreshed, renewed, and revived. Actually, the whole creation is groaning and suffering, yearning to be revived and refreshed, even to be delivered from the slavery of corruption.
The people in the world want to be renewed and revived, and Satan has systematised them in this respect, enticing them to buy new things such as new clothes, a new phone, a new car, etc for them to feel they have something new.
But the source of newness, the only One who is new and who can make us new, is Christ.
Christ is the element of newness. He is the element of the revival for which all creation aspires.
What the world calls new is very temporary and fading. What we can manufacture as new, even new relationships or a new job, all these are quite old and fade away. But Christ has died and has resurrected, and He has swallowed up any corruption and desolation.
Our being revived depends on our enjoyment and experience of Christ. Christ is God who became man to bring God into man, and He went through death and resurrection to bring man into God.
Now man is in God and God is in man, and Christ is the life-giving Spirit to dispense what He is into our being for us to be made the same as He is!
When we see this revelation, we will give ourselves to the Lord to practice this, that is, we will live a life under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity so that we may live the life of a God-man in our Christian life.
Our living will be a duplication of the living of Christ, a living that expresses God.
This becomes a corporate living, even a corporate model of living in the economy of God, which will be the greatest revival in the history of the church to bring the Lord back. Hallelujah!
God Needs a Corporate People to be Raised up by His Grace through the High Peak of the Divine Revelation to Live a Life According to this Revelation – a Corporate Model of Living the Life of a God-man
The first thing we need is to see the vision of the central lane of the economy of God with Christ as its centrality and universality. When we see a vision of God’s economy, we will realise that God wants this worked out in us.
Christ is now the life-giving Spirit indwelling our spirit to be one with our spirit (1 Cor. 15:45; 6:17).
When we see the high, deep, and profound revelation of the eternal economy of God, we realise that God wants to raise up a model of a group of people who live according to this revelation.
God needs a corporate people to be raised up by His grace through the high peak of the divine revelation to live a life according to this revelation.
A revival is the practice, the practicality, of the vision we have seen.
Where is the model of living according to the highest peak of the divine revelation? Where is the corporate group of people who live a crucified life so that they may express Christ?
Where are those who live Christ and magnify Christ by the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:19)? Where on earth can we see such a living, and where is the practice of the high revelation we have seen?
We need to come to the Lord concerning this, for when He raises up a group of people by His grace to live the life of a God-man, that is the practicality of the vision, and that is a new revival.
The new revival the Lord wants to gain is not like the revival we saw in the past, nor is it just revival meetings which last long and have long prayers, etc.
If we look at church history, there have been some revivals here and there, and some of them were quite prevailing, but eventually they died down.
What we speak of when we say a new revival is a revival that will actually affect this age and bring the Lord back; it is the revival that will close this age.
If we study church history, we will see that every revival was the living out of the vision that the saints have seen in that period of time. They saw something fresh and new in God’s word; they had a clear revelation of it, and they lived according to it.
For example, the Anabaptists in the 13th century saw the fact that Christians need to be baptised by immersion in water when they actually have the consciousness that they are saved and believe into the Lord, not as infants, as the Catholic church said.
Many of them have been persecuted, tortured, and martyred for this one thing, for they saw the vision and lived in a particular way, and a revival was brought in.
In every age, God wants to gain a model group of people who live according to the vision of that age so that the Lord may change that age and bring in a new age.
In England, there was a revival that lasted for some time, when some brothers burdened by the Lord preached the gospel to the miners, and this caused many to believe into the Lord and give their lives to Him.
This really affected the entire atmosphere in the whole country, and many evil things were eliminated and subdued because of this.
The Lord wants us to live according to the vision we have seen. We need to let the high peak of the divine revelation become our living so that we may live the life of a God-man and He would gain a model of people living Christ.
People will be affected when we go to work, for we become both divine and mystical, and Christ will be expressed through us.
Those in our office and the people at home will realise that Christ lives in us and is expressed through us. When we go shopping, others will notice. May we open to the Lord about it and ask Him,
Lord Jesus, we want to practice living the life of a God-man as You have shown us in Your word. Thank You, Lord, for granting us a vision of Your eternal economy in which God became a man to make us, men of clay, the same as God in life and nature but not in the Godhead. Hallelujah, we praise the Lord that we have seen the highest peak of the divine revelation, and we have internalised the central lane of God’s economy. We open to You, Lord. We want to live according to the vision we have seen. Rise up a model of saints who live in the reality of the Body of Christ. Rise up a model of living in the economy of God. We give ourselves to You to be the corporate people who by Your grace, through the high peak of the divine revelation live a life according to this revelation. Amen, Lord, may all things turn to our salvation through the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. May we live a crucified life so that Christ may live in us and be expressed through us! Lord Jesus, make us those who practice the vision we have seen so that You may gain a new revival that will end this age and bring You back! Amen!
Being Discipled through Christ’s Human Living to Live Christ by Denying the Self by the Bountiful Supply of the Spirit
If we want to see what it means to live the life of a God-man, we need to take a look at the life and living of the Lord Jesus, the first God-man.
Actually, we need to learn Christ as the reality is in Jesus; He lived the life of a God-man, and now we follow in His footsteps.
When He was on earth, the Lord Jesus had some followers (Matt. 5:1; 28:19), who were discipled through Christ’s human living on the earth, as the model of a God-man.
The way He lived was by denying Himself in humanity so that He may live and express God (John 5:19, 30); this revolutionised their concept concerning man and human living (Phil. 3:10; 1:21).
What we see in Jesus is that He had a perfect human life, but He did not live by it; rather, He denied His life and lived by the life of the Father, living because of the Father.
He then calls all His followers to eat Him and live because of Him. The kind of life that He lived is an example for us, and as we eat Him, we live because of Him.
As believers in Christ, our life should be a copy, a reproduction, of the model of the life of Christ, the first God-man (1 Pet. 2:21; Matt. 11:28-29; Eph. 4:20-21; John 17:4; 5:17; Phil. 1:19-22, 25).
We trace His steps, we follow Him, we imitate Him, and we copy Him; we do this not in an outward, mechanical or systematic way, but by exercising our spirit as we come to His word to be discipled by Christ.
We need to come to the Lord in His word, especially in the Gospels, and see the kind of living He had. We need to see how He behaved, how He answered others, what He did, and what He did not do.
As we read the Gospels, we need to prayerfully consider this before the Lord and allow the Lord to infuse us with Christ as the model of the God-man life.
Like the disciples of Christ, we have been regenerated by God through receiving the Spirit of life and reality at the time of our regeneration, and this Spirit guides us into all the reality of what we observe in the Lord (John 16:13; 20:22).
The disciples followed the Lord Jesus for three and a half years, and they saw what He did, how He behaved, and how He spoke.
They saw His human living, His death on the cross for six hours, and His resurrection. All these things they saw in Jesus discipled them.
We as believers in Christ have been put into the mold of Christ, into the death of Christ so that we may learn Christ as the reality is in Jesus. Our life should match His life, and our living should match His living.
If we look at the Lord’s life on earth, He spent six hours on the cross, He spent three days in the tomb; but He spent thirty-three and a half years building up a certain kind of a living, the God-man living.
He lived the life of a God-man. He spent three days and six hours to accomplish redemption, but He spent much more time to build up and perfect the life of a God-man, the God-man living, for us to see how a God-man should live.
As we read the Gospels prayerfully, our concept regarding the human life, the way we should live the Christian life, is changed, even revolutionised.
Even at twelve years old, when He was a teenager, Christ lived the life of a God-man; He was absolute for His heavenly Father, yet He submitted to His earthly mother and father and went down in subjection to them.
This can be reproduced in us today. Our life should be a copy of the model of the life of Christ.
We need to be discipled through Christ’s human living on earth to live Christ by denying the self so that Christ may be expressed through us as we live the life of a God-man.
We are discipled through the Lord’s crucifixion to annul our human life so that we may live the divine life (Gal. 2:20).
We are discipled through Christ’s resurrection to know Him as God’s firstborn Son (Rom. 1:4; Acts 13:33; Rom. 8:29).
Just as He was divine and human, so we are human and divine, for He as the life-giving Spirit has come into us to regenerate us and produce us as the many God-men.
We are discipled to know Christ as the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45), and we realise that in His resurrection He produced the many sons of God as His multiplication and increase (Heb. 2:10; John 12:24).
If we really come to the Lord in His word and open to the Spirit within us as we prayerfully consider the Lord’s human living revealed in the Gospels, we will be discipled.
We will be made vital. Our daily living will be affected, for we will deny ourselves and live by the divine life.
Our ministry will be vital, for the divine life will be expressed through our human life, and what we utter will be divine out of a crucified life. Amen!
May we bring this to the Lord in prayer and allow Him to disciple us and produce us as those who live Christ today!
Lord Jesus, we come to You in Your word to prayerfully consider and muse on Your human living as seen in the Gospels. Amen, Lord, disciple us through Your human living on the earth, for You were the model of a God-man. Thank You for setting up a model before of, a model of living God by denying Yourself in Your humanity. Have a way to change and revolutionise our concept regarding how we should live our Christian life. We prayerfully open to You, Lord, so that You may disciple us. May our life be a copy of the model of the life of Christ. May the life and living of Christ be reproduced in us today as we exercise to deny ourselves and live by the divine life. Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to live by the divine life in our spirit, and we exercise to deny the self and anything of the natural life. Live in us today. Make us living and vital. May our ministry be due to our living the divine life out of our human life. May our words be divine out of a crucified human life. Amen, Lord, live in us today!
