a trainee’s testimony – the grace enjoyed by us meets the high standard of the training!

December 22, 2011 by Christian Student 2 Comments

a trainee's testimony - the grace enjoyed by us meets the high standard of the training!By the great mercy of the Lord I passed through my first term in the Full Time Training in London. I cannot convey in human words how wonderful it was… To understand and have taste of being under the Lord’s care through the environment of the training there is much need of grace.

In the training, I found out that a really high standard of living is required, and sometimes it seemed that I cannot do it… but especially in this environment of impossibility the Lord’s grace was applied! After experiencing such a supply of the Lord to reach such a high standard, the Lord started to be closer to me day by day. Oh, it is really true that life grows by regulation! If there would not be these wonderful and necessary regulations for a proper humanity, there would not be as much profit as it is now!

The first thing I was encouraged with is that the saints in the training are a group of those who want to know and experience the Lord, those who are willing to be perfected to be prepared for every good work (2 Tim 2:21).

Without the training it seems impossible to wake up at 6 AM, spend 15 minutes in an intimate and affectionate time with the Lord to be revived by Him, 15 minutes to dress, make your bead, brush your teeth, shave, etc. Sometimes you really start to call upon the Lord from the deepest part of your being (because of the lack of time, and everyone wants to get good marks at the end of the week, so that they would not do any service / not write any outline as a penalty) and then 20 mins are left to do the corporate area cleaning… Oh, that is impossible! But for those who are being trained it seems achievable.

After this, we have just 10 min to check everything and to walk – not run – to the dining room (which is located in a different building), then sign for attendance and sit at your assigned table at 7.00 AM. Oh, there is much grace needed, and – praise the Lord – He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again! Amen! There is something really changing in us day by day in the particular environment of the full time training. It is so sweet because Christ is giving Himself to us and living in us to fulfill the heavy demand of the training – even Christ as the amazing grace.

I enjoyed every aspect of the training: the atmosphere, the care of the serving ones, the truth that we enter into, the perfecting in the daily schedule, the personal and corporate praying, the studying, and many other things. And… I am looking forward to the next term.

[sharing from brother R. who recently finished his first semester in the FTTL (the Full Time Training in London). Though there’s a very packed schedule with high requirements from the trainees, yet the divine life supplies all the trainees to live the life the Lord Jesus lived while being on earth. Amen, He giveth and giveth and giveth grace again and again! ]

Amen.

…When we have exhausted our store of endurance,When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,Our Father's full giving is only begun.

His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
FOR OUT OF HIS ININITE RICHES IN JESUS,
HE GIVETH AND GIVETH AND GIVETH AGAIN :)))
