The Body of Christ is, on the one hand, a mystical and spiritual entity that is universal, transcending time and space, and is composed of all the believers in Christ as the many members of the Body of Christ. On the other hand, the Body of Christ is a reality and a life we live […]
Cooperating with Christ in His Ministry of Intercession by Praying at the Incense Altar
![Cooperating with Christ in His Ministry of Intercession by Praying at the Incense Altar [In the picture: Prayer is the way to enter into the Holy of Holies and come forward to the throne of grace so that we can receive mercy and find grace to meet our timely need. ]](https://i0.wp.com/mail.agodman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/prayer-enter-into-holy-of-holies-help-timely-need.jpg?fit=300%2C186&ssl=1)
We today as the many members of the Body of Christ have the privilege and the responsibility to be one with Our interceding Head, joining into His interceding ministry by praying at the incense altar for what is in God’s heart. When Christ was on the earth, the disciples were usually falling asleep as He […]
Not Hindering God Anymore but Being Fully Responsive to Him for Him to Work
![We need the Lord to shine on us both individually and corporately as the church that we may see, in His light, what He can do AND what we can hinder Him from doing. [In the picture: The Lord must bring us to a place of utter responsiveness to Himself so that He can have a free and unhindered way to do whatever He wants to do, Watchman Nee]](https://i0.wp.com/mail.agodman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/a-place-of-utter-responsiveness-to-god-unhindered-way.jpg?fit=300%2C199&ssl=1)
I am impressed and humbled to see how much God is limited to man’s cooperation. God is omnipotent and He can do everything He wants, but His omnipotence is limited because His church on earth does not release His power and His will. God needs to have certain conditions suitable for His working, and then […]
Being the Ambassadors of Christ Who Live by the Immortal Life in our Spirit
![Being the Ambassadors of Christ Who Live by the Immortal Life in our Spirit [Picture: 2 Cor. 5:20, we are ambassadors of Christ - be reconciled to God!]](https://i0.wp.com/mail.agodman.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/2cor5-20-we-are-christs-ambassadors.jpg?fit=300%2C125&ssl=1)
In 2 Corinthians we see a particular aspect of the ones who work for God – they are ambassadors of Christ with the ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:20). To be an ambassador is not a small thing – it is the greatest honor to be the ambassador of the King of Kings, to represent […]
not being independent but being full of feeling for the members of the Body
If we really see that we are members of the Body of Christ, we will spontaneously consider the Body in everything that we do. We will realize that even though we love and treasure the local churches, we are for the Body of Christ, and we will honor the Body, doing what is best for […]
recognizing our measure in the Body of Christ and not going beyond it
As the many members of the one universal Body of Christ, those standing on the genuine ground of oneness, we all need to take the lead to function in our measure and not go beyond our measure. We need to allow the other members of the Body to limit us and to help us function […]
being enlightened by the Lord to really see the Body and care for the Body
When it comes to spiritual things, we need to not only mentally know the spiritual principles and the word of God but we need to have a clear spiritual seeing of the spiritual things. Eph. 1:17-18 says, That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit […]
