In 2 Corinthians 13:14 we see the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy; for here we see the current of the Divine Trinity as the inner circulation of the Divine Trinity, our spiritual pulse, and God’s only goal in time is to dispense Himself into us day by day.
Lord Jesus, we come to You afresh with our heart turned to You. Infuse us more with Yourself. Thank You, Father, for being the source as love. Amen, praise the Lord Jesus Christ who is the grace as the coming out of the Father! We open to You, Lord, to be infused with You as the Spirit in fellowship to enjoy all the riches of the Triune God! Praise the Lord, God’s only goal in time is to dispense Himself into us day by day! Amen, Lord, we open to Your dispensing today! Amen!
This week in our morning revival, we come to the topic of the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy.
Wow, God blesses us eternally by dispensing Himself from eternity, in time, and into eternity as the Triune God for us to enjoy Him and for Him to accomplish His economy!
Praise the Lord for the eternal blessing of the Triune God! As we prayerfully consider the ministry of the Word and God’s dispensing for God’s economy, we need to see that the ministry of the Word is actually God’s dispensing.
For a certain ministry to be genuine, it has to be God’s dispensing; it has to dispense God into man.
In Ephesians 4:11-12 we see that the Lord in ascension gave some gifts to the church for the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry unto the building up of the Body of Christ.
Part of the perfecting of the saints is that there has to be some dispensing.
Our ministry in the Body and for the Body is a ministry of dispensing. If we work for the Lord and do things in His name, yet we do not dispense God into man, this is not according to God’s economy.
This is why Paul told his young co-worker Timothy to charge certain ones not to teach different things, which produce questionings rather than God’s economy, which is in faith (1 Tim. 1:3-4).
We may think we are helping the saints through our ministry, but we actually could be delaying the saints in their growth in life and going on with the Lord. Oh, Lord Jesus!
May we be before the Lord regarding this and realise that we need to be under the divine dispensing and do all things for us to dispense God into others also!
The Eternal Blessing of the Triune God Dispensing Himself into us for our Enjoyment and the Accomplishing of His Economy
In 2 Corinthians 13:14, the very last verse of Paul’s Epistles to the church in Corinth, we read, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
This is not just a benediction, something to be used at the closing of a Christian service; this is the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy.
We need to learn to bless one another with the Triune God. In our meetings with the saints, in our family life with our spouse and children, and wherever we are, we need to bless others with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
In any setting, in any environment, and with any kind of people, we need to enjoy the eternal blessing, the dispensing of the Triune God (Jude 21).
If we open to the divine dispensing, everything in our Christian life will be affected. In our shepherding the saints, in our living the church life, and in our living in the family life and at work, wherever we are, we need to enjoy the divine dispensing.
The entire church life depends on 2 Corinthians 13:14; we need to be in this reality today. Day by day, hour by hour, we need to be in the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity so that we may be supplied to live the Christian life and the church life.
When we shepherd others, no matter what arrangement we do outwardly, we need to be under the divine dispensing and cooperate with the Lord to dispense God into others also.
We can use the illustration of electricity to liken this divine dispensing. There is a big power plant, and there’s a circulation of electricity, the flow of electricity, from the power plant to all the homes and buildings.
We are plugged into the Triune God, the power plant, and we are in the Body of Christ; there is a divine current going on right now, flowing all the time.
As we go shopping, as we live at home, as we do our job wherever we work, as we live among our neighbours, as we drive here and there, wherever we are and whatever we do, this divine current is flowing all the time.
This is also like the circulation of blood in our body; there is a flow of blood going around in our body, reaching every member to supply every member.
This flow is not loud but quiet, yet it is very powerful and supplying. If we hear a buzz with electricity, this means there is a problem, and if there are any problems with the flow of blood in our body, we will know.
But when electricity flows in a normal way, when the blood flows normally, we don’t feel it, but we go on, we live, and we are satisfied. We are not conscious of the pure and clear flow of life, but we want to remain in this flow of life!
The Holy Spirit as the circulation, the transmission, of the grace of Christ with the love of the Father, is the supply in our Christian life and church life.
We may not even think about it, but when we’re in our room at home or in a meeting, the flow of electricity is going on all the time.
As we live our daily life, there is a divine current flowing all the time – this is the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy.
When we are exercising our spirit to be one with this flow, maintaining this flow, we can live the proper Christian life and we can cooperate with the Lord for the fulfilment of His purpose, for Him to carry out His economy.
We don’t know what we need, whether it is the love of God as the source, the grace of Christ as the expression of God’s love, or the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, but as long as we open to the Lord, He infuses us with what He is to meet our every need.
As we remain under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity, we simply have an inner sense that we should not have spoken to our spouse in the way we spoke, or we should not have rebuked the children the way we did; we simply repent inwardly and also confess to others outwardly.
The divine dispensing may expose our tone and our attitude toward our spouse. We simply need to exercise to remain in the flow.
We may share something in the meeting, and suddenly we feel that the flow stopped within us; we ned to stop and sit down, even though we may want to share much more.
It’s not about finishing our prophecy or not being embarrassed; it is about being under the eternal blessing of the Triune God dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy.
We can even say that the entire church life depends upon 2 Corinthians 13:14, for we need the divine and spiritual circulation within us in order to live the Christian life and the church life.
Many problems arise among the saints and we ourselves may have many problems inwardly because we do not take care of the divine circulation of the Spirit in our spirit.
Especially in the family life, in the relationship between the husband and the wife, if we do not take care of the flow of life, many problems arise.
This means that, if we want to help the saints, it is best to help them to restore the flow of life, the inner circulation of the Divine Trinity.
Lord Jesus, we open to the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our daily life. Keep us open to Your divine dispensing today. Hallelujah, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is with us all! Thank You, Father, for being love as the source. Thank You for coming to us as the grace of Christ for our enjoyment. Flow in us and flow among us as the Spirit, as the fellowship of the Spirit! Praise the Lord! We open to this divine circulation in our being throughout the day. We just open. Dispense Yourself into us as the love of God, the grace of Christ and the fellowship of the Spirit. Keep us under the eternal blessing of the Triune God, dispensing Himself into us for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His economy! Amen, Lord, may we see that the Holy Spirit as the circulation of the grace of Christ with the love of the Father, is the supply in our Christian life and church life! Flow in us and flow among us! Amen, Lord, the entire church life depends on the divine and spiritual circulation within us! Praise the Lord!
The Current of the Divine Trinity as the Inner Circulation of the Divine Trinity is our Spiritual Pulse, for God’s Only Goal in Time is to Dispense Himself into us Day by Day!
May the Lord enlighten us to see that the Triune God is continually dispensing Himself in His divine Trinity into our being. The current of the Divine Trinity as the inner circulation of the Divine Trinity revealed in 2 Corinthians 13:14 is our spiritual pulse.
The first thing a doctor checks is the pulse; if we have a proper pulse, we can take a look at other problems we may have.
Blood pressure is very important, for it is the circulation of the blood in our body that makes the whole body healthy.
But if our blood pressure is not proper, if our spiritual pulse is not right, we have a lot of health problems, a lot of spiritual health problems.
When we fellowship with the saints and they open up concerning certain problems or come to us to ask for advice, we need to cooperate with the Lord to help them restore their spiritual pulse.
The current of the Divine Trinity, the divine current, is the inner circulation of the Triune God, and this is our spiritual pulse.
Many times we may have problems at our job or in our married life, and we may want to talk about these problems; what we need, however, is to restore the spiritual pulse.
We need to have a proper flow of life. If we had a proper flowing of the Triune God in our life, many problems will be solved, and many spiritual issues would be sorted out.
We need to recover the flow of life. God’s intention in His economy is to dispense Himself in His Divine Trinity into us.
He wants to dispense Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Spirit into His chosen people (Psa. 36:8-9).
God’s only goal in time is to dispense Himself into us day by day. This is His only goal. May this govern our daily living and our serving before the Lord.
Right now, God’s only goal is to dispense Himself into us so that there would be the circulation of the Divine Trinity in our being and the divine current flowing in and out of us.
As we live our Christian life, as we live our family life, and as we meet with the saints, we need to realise this: God desires to dispense Himself into us more and more.
In the book of Job we see a great question and a great answer: what is the purpose of man’s existence and of man’s suffering? It is for God to dispense Himself into man to make man a man of God, a God-man.
God allows us to pass through sufferings, trials, and tribulations, even through unimaginable things, so that we may be open to His divine dispensing and receive and enjoy more of Him.
If we see that the Lord Jesus is behind everything that happens to us, if we realise that even when we’re mistreated and misunderstood, God desires to dispense Himself into us, we will open to the Lord for Him to dispense Himself more into our being.
We need to be saturated with the fatness of God’s house, even drink of the river of His pleasures, for with Him is the fountain of life, and in His light we see light. Hallelujah!
If we see that the governing principle of the whole Bible is the Triune God dispensing Himself into His chosen people, the whole Bible will be an open book to us.
Everything and everyone around us is sovereignly arranged by God for our good, for us to be transformed and conformed to His image so that we may be part of His corporate expression.
The Father is the fountain of life and light; He is expressed as the fatness of His house, and there are rivers of His pleasures coming to us to water us to bring all that God is into us. Hallelujah!
May we see this vision and may we open to the Lord to be under His divine dispensing day by day!
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into us as the current of the Divine Trinity, the inner circulation of the Divine Trinity! Hallelujah, the Triune God is flowing in us as the Father, the Son, and the Spirit! Amen, Lord, dispense Yourself more into us today. May we have a healthy and proper spiritual pulse by having a proper flow of life, a proper divine circulation in our being. We want to deal with anything that hinders the divine circulation of the Divine Trinity in us. Flow in, Lord. Flow into our mind, emotion, and will to saturate every part with Yourself. Lord Jesus, we want to give the flow of life the preeminence in us. Thank You for having the unique intention in time to dispense Yourself into us day by day! Amen, Lord, You want to dispense Yourself into us: we open to Your divine dispensing! We want to enjoy the fountain of life and light, the fatness of God’s house, and the river of God’s pleasures! Hallelujah, God is flowing in Christ as the Spirit to reach us all the time for our enjoyment and the accomplishing of His purpose! Amen!
