Being those who Live in the Reality of the Body of Christ in the Church Life today

August 23, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

We should not live by ourselves. According to God’s design in His economy we were already put on the cross. We should not call ourselves back off the cross. To remain on the cross is to bear the cross and be under the cross. I have been crucified. There is no more I. I am finished. I am through. But there is a new man with me. That is the resurrected God-created man uplifted with God’s divinity in him. That man is actually God Himself. Now I live by that man. But if I do not practice to keep my old man on the cross, I can never live the new man. This is why in the first chapter of Philippians, Paul told us he lived such a life by the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Witness Lee, The Practical Points concerning Blending, pp. 34-36

God today is doing one thing: He’s building up the church as the Body of Christ so that the bride of Christ may be prepared for Christ to return and end this age; if we see this, we will be those who strive to live in the reality of the Body of Christ today. It […]

Christ is the Unique Head of the Body, the Church, and of every Believer Individually

Col. 1:18 And He is the Head of the Body, the church; He is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead...

We as believers in Christ are the members of the Body of Christ, and Christ is the unique Head of the Body, the church; He is the Head of the church and the Head of each individual believers, directing every one of us. Therefore, we as believers in Christ need to take Christ as our […]

Living in the Resurection Life of Christ for the Building up of the Body of Christ

August 21, 2017 by aGodMan 13 Comments

The principle of resurrection is that the natural life is killed and that the divine life rises up in its place (2 Cor. 1:9). In our natural life and in the old creation, we are not the Body; we are the Body in the new creation germinated by Christ’s resurrection (Eph. 1:19-23). Knowing Life and the Church, outline 6

The church as the Body of Christ is an organism absolutely in the resurrection life of Christ, and in the church life we experience the principle of resurrection until everything we say, do, and are in the church if is an expression of Christ in resurrection. This week is our last on the topic of, […]

When we’re Body-Conscious we Depend on the Body just as we Depend on Christ the Head

What I do not know, another member of the Body will know; what I cannot see, another member of the Body will see; what I cannot do, another member of the Body will do. Watchman Nee

When we have a revelation of the Body of Christ and realize we are members of the Body, we will be Body-conscious; any individualistic thought and action will be ruled out, and we will depend on the Body in everything. Our human life is an individualistic life, and as we grow up in today’s society, […]

Being Body-Conscious by Caring for the Body and having Christ’s Feeling for the Body

August 18, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

Phil. 1:8 For God is my witness how I long after you all in the inward parts of Christ Jesus.

The church is the Body of Christ, and we all are members of the Body; for the Lord’s move in His recovery both locally and universally, we all must be Body-conscious in one accord, always caring for the Body and doing what’s best for the Body. When we see the Lord Jesus for the first […]

Dropping any Routine and Learning to be Revived by Touching the Lord in the Morning

August 17, 2017 by Guest God-man Blogger Leave a Comment

We need to view our morning time as an intimate conversation with our Lord. Then we will have the proper attitude in coming to Him in the morning, not to get something done, but just to enjoy Him.

I would like to talk share about my experience of being revived by the Lord day by day. For many years, I would only felt really “revived” after going to a big conference or hearing a living message. But this “feeling” of buoyancy only lasted for a few days, and then I would be back […]

Taking Care of the Rest in our Spirit to be under God’s Limitation in our Function

August 17, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

2 Cor. 2:12-13 ...a door was open to me in the Lord, I had no rest in my spirit....

Our God is a God of measure, and when it comes to the work for the spreading and building up of the church, we should move and act according to how much God has measured to us, staying within the limits of God’s ruling, God’s limitation and measure. A basic requirement for the Body of […]
