The Existence of the Church is according to the Eternal Purpose God made in Christ

November 14, 2017 by aGodMan 12 Comments

God planned to have the church composed of regenerated and transformed human beings who are coordinated and built together as a corporate Body.

According to Ephesians, the existence of the church is according to the eternal purpose which God made in Christ Jesus our Lord, for God planned to have from eternity past for eternity future. God has an eternal purpose – the purpose of the ages, which He made in eternity past for eternity future (Eph. 3:11). […]

God’s Glory is being Worked into the Saints until God is Glorified in the Church!

November 11, 2017 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The entire New Jerusalem will bear the glory of God, which is God Himself shining out through the city - Rev. 21:10-11, 23. Actually, the glory of God will be the content of the New Jerusalem, for this city is filled with His glory; this indicates that the city is a vessel to contain God and express Him in a corporate way. The glory of God is God Himself being manifested; the fact that the New Jerusalem is full of God’s glory means that God is manifested in this city. The church life today should also have God’s glory, manifesting and expressing Him corporately in this marvelous divine attribute - Eph. 3:21. Crystallization-study of Ezekiel (2), outline 12

Both in the gospel of John and in Ephesians we see that God is glorified in the church, and for eternity the New Jerusalem has the glory of God, His expression. In the gospel of John we see the Lord Jesus coming as God incarnated, and those around Him saw the glory of God in […]

Seeing and Experiencing the Glory of God in the Building of God (the Gospel of John)

November 10, 2017 by aGodMan 5 Comments

John 12:23-24 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

In the gospel of John we see the glory of God in the building of God – first, the glory of God was manifested in Christ, the tabernacle of God with man, and then we were included in the divine-human incorporation in Christ’s resurrection! The governing vision in this book is life and building; life […]

The Return of God’s Glory Depends on the Building of the Church as the House of God

November 9, 2017 by aGodMan 5 Comments

Ezek. 43:2 And the glory of the God of Israel was there, coming from the way of the east, and His voice was like the sound of many waters, and the earth was illuminated with His glory.

The return of the glory of God in Ezekiel depended on the building up of His house; the return of God’s glory today depends on the building up of the church as the dwelling place of God according to all the details in Ezekiel 40-48. In Ezekiel we see that the glory returned from the […]

The Church is the Place of God’s Throne and the Place where He Dwells with His People

November 7, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Apart from the temple as the place of His throne and the place of the soles of His feet, the Lord has no base for His administration and His move on earth. Only the built-up church gives the Lord the standing to administrate His government and to move on earth; furthermore, the church is the place where the Lord can dwell for His rest and satisfaction - Matt. 16:18-19; Acts 13:2b-3; 1 Tim. 3:15. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 12

We need to see and realise that God desires to have a dwelling place on earth with man, and the goal of His salvation is the building of His dwelling place on earth; the church is the place of God’s throne and the place where He dwells with His people. In Ezekiel 43:1-7 we see […]

Knowing and Experiencing God as the God of Glory and the God of the House of God

November 6, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Glory is the expression of God, and building is the corporate expression of the Triune God; thus, the glory of God and the building of God go together, for the church, as God’s building, is the corporate expression of God - Exo. 40:34-38; 1 Kings 8:10-11; Rev. 21:10-11; Eph. 3:19, 21; 1 Tim. 3:15-16.

This week we come to the last crystal in the book of Ezekiel, The Return of the Glory of God to the House of God, and today we want to see how our God is the God of glory and also the God of the house of God. The main burden of this crystallisation-study of […]
