God Calls His People to Come out of Babylon and Return to the Orthodoxy of the Church

November 30, 2017 by aGodMan 12 Comments

2 Cor. 6:17-18 Therefore "come out from their midst and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you"; "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty."

In the book of Revelation the Lord calls for His people to come out of Babylon, which is the apostate church, so that they may return to the orthodoxy of the church, the normal condition of the church according to God’s original intention. Yes, God will judge and put the devil away, and the book […]

Not Denying the Lord’s Name but being Saved from Confusion, Scattering, and Mixture

November 29, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

In the church we should not have different kinds of speaking; we should have only one mind and one mouth under one ministry with one unique teaching for the one Body (Rom. 15:5-6; 1 Cor. 1:10; Phil. 2:2; 1 Tim. 1:3-4). When we are in our mind, we are in the principle of Babylon; when we are in our spirit, we are in today’s Jerusalem, in which there is the divine oneness (John 4:23-24; Eph. 4:3). We should not dare to have any division, because our Husband is one, and we His wife are also one (Matt. 19:3-9). The Recovery of the Church (2017 fall ITERO), outline 3

As we read the Bible and realise the principle of Babylon, we need to be saved from denying the Lord’s name and from any confusion, scattering, and mixture. God hates Babylon and the principle of Babylon, for this great city is first of all the culmination of man’s endeavor to build something to make a […]

Not Living Luxuriously but Considering ourselves as a Widow, the Wife of Christ

1 Tim. 6:6-10 v. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain; v. 7 For we have brought nothing into the world, because neither can we carry anything out. v. 8 But having food and covering, with these we will be content. v. 9 But those who intend to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge men into destruction and ruin. v. 10 For the love of money is a root of all evils, because of which some, aspiring after money, have been led away from the faith and pierced themselves through with many pains.

The Lord wants to gain the church, His corporate expression, and in this age of the degradation of the church we need to see the principle of Babylon and be saved from it. The principle of Babylon is first man’s endeavour to build up something on earth to heaven by human ability, and then it […]

Seeing the Principle of Babylon and being Saved from Human Endeavor and Hypocrisy

November 27, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Matt. 6:1-6 v. 1 But take care not to do your righteousness before men in order to be gazed at by them; otherwise, you have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. v. 2 Therefore when you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 3 But you, when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, v. 4 So that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you. v. 5 And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 6 But you, when you pray, enter into your private room, and shut your door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

This week in our deeper study of the recovery of the church we come the matter of the degradation of the church – the principle of Babylon and the way to overcome it. As those who have been shown mercy by the Lord to be in the Lord’s recovery today, we are not in Babylon, […]

We need to See that the Lord’s Recovery is Different from Today’s Christianity

November 25, 2017 by aGodMan 17 Comments

The Lord’s recovery is different from today’s Christianity; it is impossible for there to be reconciliation between the recovery and Christianity.

The Lord’s recovery is different from today’s Christianity, and it is impossible for there to be reconciliation between the Lord’s recovery of the church and Christianity. This may sound like a strong statement – and it really is a strong statement, but this is the absolute truth. If the Lord has mercy on us to […]

Seeing the Crucial Points of the Lord’s Recovery of the Church in the Present Age

November 24, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

The desire of God’s heart is to gain the church, his corporate expression, but throughout the ages the church has become degraded; we need to see the crucial points of the Lord’s recovery of the church in the present age. The Lord has been working through the ages to recover His people back to His […]

The Lord’s Recovery of the Church has been Gradual and Progressive throughout History

November 23, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

In the nineteenth century the Lord raised up a group of brothers in England, who went further in the recovery of the church life (Rev. 3:7-13). In the hands of the Brethren, the Bible was truly an opened book, a shining book, for they absolutely obeyed the Lord’s word; many important truths were released through them (1 Tim. 2:4). They absolutely eliminated hierarchy and were brothers together and members one of another with an emphasis on mutual love and fellowship. They eliminated sectarianism and maintained the testimony of oneness. However, in certain aspects they were a failure, and because of this the Lord could not go on at that time anywhere in the Western world. The Recovery of the Church (2017 fall ITERO), outline 2

If we look at church history we will realise that, even though the church became degraded, the Lord’s recovery of the church has been gradual and progressive, starting from the first century and until today. We have seen that God desires to gain the church, for He created everything and everyone for the church, his […]
