As we Breathe in the Lord, His Spirit comes in to Enliven us and Form us as His Army

September 1, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

When Ezekiel prophesied the first time (Ezek. 37:7), there was a noise and a rattling, and all the bones came together; when we come together in the meetings and make a joyful noise by calling on the Lord and praising Him (Psa. 95:1; cf. Lam. 3:55-56; John 20:22; Hymns, #255), we are truly one. When Ezekiel prophesied the second time (Ezek. 37:10), the breath came into the “very dry” (v. 2, cf. v. 11) and dead bones, “and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (v. 10), to fight the battle for God. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 1

In Ezek. 37 God told the prophet to prophesy His word over the dead bones, and then the wind, the breath, and the Spirit came; we need to exercise to prophesy God’s word, breathe in the Lord, and allow God to breathe out His word and His Spirit for His purpose to be fulfilled. A […]

Prophesying by Speaking forth God’s Word to Fulfill His Desire and Build up the Church

1 Cor. 14:31 You can all prophesy one by one that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

In Ezekiel 37 we see not only our condition when we’re fallen or backslidden (“dry bones”) but also God’s solution: prophesying, that is, the need to prophesy by speaking for the Lord so that the Spirit would come in and enliven us! On the one hand, the many dry, disjointed, very dry, separated bones in […]

God’s Word causes Dry Bones to become Living, for the Lord is the Savior of the Dead

Ezekiel 37 reveals how God’s Spirit comes into us in order to enliven us so that we may become a corporate Body formed into an army and also built up as God’s dwelling place.

In Ezekiel 37 God gave the prophet a vision of a valley full of dry bones, which represented the house of Israel, and He told him to prophesy over them; the result was that the Spirit came in, breathed on them, enlivened them, and produced a great army. We may think that these dead, dry […]

The Increase of Christ in us is for the Building up of the Body of Christ in Love

Eph. 4:16 Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.

What the Lord is after today is not individual Christians who are spiritual and can express God – He desires to gain the Body of Christ, and the unique work Christ is doing is the building up of the Body for God to have a corporate expression in man. Christ Himself is the unique Head […]

We need to Grow Up into the Head, Christ, in All Things until We are All One in Him

August 25, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Eph. 4:13 Until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

As members of the Body of Christ, we need to hold Christ as the head, and we need to grow up into the Head, Christ, in all things; in all the things of our daily living and human existence, we need to grow up into Christ, the Head (Eph. 4:15). In thing after thing, matter […]

When we live in the Mingled Spirit we are in the Reality of the Body of Christ

August 24, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Because the Body of Christ is in the mingled spirit, to be in the reality of the Body of Christ is to be in the mingled spirit and to live in the mingled spirit. To live, act, and move in the mingled spirit is to live, act, and move in the Body and to be in the reality of the Body (Rom. 8:4; 12:4-5). To be in the mingled spirit is to be in the Body of Christ actually and practically (1 Cor. 6:17; 12:12-13, 27). Knowing Life and the Church, outline 6

The key to living in the reality of the Body of Christ is the mingled spirit; the Body of Christ is in the mingled spirit, and to live in the reality of the Body, we need to live in the mingled spirit. Actually, everything that God requires of us is fulfilled spontaneously in our living […]
