areas in which the Lord Spirit may operate to apply the resurrection life in us

January 10, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

In resurrection, Christ became the life-giving Spirit and He was given to be the Lord and Christ over everything. Now He is the Lord Spirit (2 Cor. 3:18) transforming our soul by imparting the resurrection life to our mind, emotion, and will… There are so many ways that the resurrection life and our appreciation for the real meaning of resurrection life impact us as members of the Body of Christ! … The Lord Spirit may cause some of us to be like Paul and aspire to know the power of Christ’s resurrection, to know it experientially! For some, they may have little interest or aspiration, but the Lord will produce in you a desire to know in your experience the power of Christ’s resurrection! the highest and fullest experience of God is taking God as our dwelling place

January 9, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Enosh called on the name of Jehovah, Enoch walked with God, Abraham had a meal with God, and David cared for God’s heart to build the house of God, but no one except Moses could utter such a statement, Jehovah, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. The God Enosh called on, Enoch walked with, Abraham had a meal with, and David built a house for – is actually our dwelling place! Calling on the Lord, walking with Him, having a meal with Him, and building a house for God are very good experiences, but the fullest experience and the highest experience of God is dwelling in God! the secret revelation concerning the enjoyment of Christ as the incarnated Triune God

January 7, 2012 by aGodMan 17 Comments

The tabernacle is not just a picture of the church life, but it is the Triune God for us to enter into, to partake of, and to enjoy! The entire Triune God was incarnated to become the enterable and enjoyable God for man to enter into God and enjoy God. And God’s incarnation is NOT a One Instant Event – it continues throughout the entire New Testament age, until it reaches the New Jerusalem, the eternal universal tabernacle! Every time man is regenerated God is incarnated! Every time we enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity, we become the incarnated God – God dwells in man and is expressed in man! What does it mean to give the Lord the preeminence, the first place, in everything?

January 6, 2012 by aGodMan 1 Comment

To give the Lord the first place in our life practically means to repent and do the first works. Rev. 2:5 warns us that if we don’t repent and do the first works, the Lord will remove the lampstand. These works issue from our first love for the Lord – they are a work issuing from a heart filled with zeal for the Lord’s love, and this is precious in the Lord’s eyes. We love the Lord so much that we just do the first works – and they come out of our zeal, our love for Him! In that day, when we will stand before God at His judgement seat, He will appreciate how much of what we have done out of love for Him. Only those things we do motivated by our love for the Lord are considered gold, silver, and precious stones. If we don’t do these works, the Lord will take the lampstand! Whatever we do in the church life, we need to love the Lord and do the first works – and we will be a corporate expression of the Triune God everywhere on the earth as the golden lampstands! Jesus answered and said to her, Everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again, But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall by no means thirst forever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life. John 4:13-14
