Living in the Kingdom of God as the Realm of the Divine Life by the Sense of Life

April 9, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Col. 1:12-13 Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light; who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

When the kingdom of God is able to assert its authority over a company of believers, those believers can be built up into the church (see Col. 1:13; 2:19; Eph. 4:15-16). How wonderful it is to be in the kingdom of God! However, many believers and unbelievers alike have been lied to by the enemy concerning […]

The Gospel Brings forth the Church, and the Kingdom is the Reality of the Church

April 8, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Since the kingdom life issues in the church life, as we live corporately in the kingdom life, we spontaneously live the church life. Without the kingdom as the reality of the church, the church cannot be built up. A believer who does not live in the reality of the kingdom cannot be built into the structure of the church. Witness Lee

In Exodus 18 we see a portrait of life in the kingdom of God; today, in the age of grace, when the gospel of the kingdom is preached, the kingdom of God is brought in and the church is brought forth. In the New Testament what we see first is the kingdom of God: the […]

The Gospel of the Kingdom Brings People under God’s Rule to become His Kingdom

April 7, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The gospel of the kingdom brings the believers into the realm of the divine ruling in order that they may participate in the blessings of the divine life in the divine kingdom. Witness Lee

God’s desire and goal is to obtain a corporate dwelling place in man, a building of God with man and man with God that will express Him and represent Him in the universe. For this, He first gains a kingdom: a group of people who are one with Him and who allow Him to rule and […]

When the Flesh is Dealt with, the Kingdom of God comes in and the Church is Built Up

April 6, 2015 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The kingdom of God is a divine sphere for God to work out His plan according to the good pleasure of His will, a realm where God can exercise His authority to accomplish what He intends; the kingdom of God is the ruling, the reigning, of God with all its blessing and enjoyment. Witness Lee

The goal of God’s salvation, provision, and revelation – as seen in the book of Exodus is God’s building, His corporate expression. For God to have the building there’s the need for us as God’s people to be in the kingdom of God and live under the rule of God. In Exo. 18, right after […]

The Christ we Eat, Enjoy, Digest, and Assimilate today will be an Eternal Memorial

March 28, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Christ as the manna eaten by us is the focal point of our Christian life and of God’s building today

God supplied His people Israel with manna every day during their journey through the wilderness; every morning the manna descended from heavens, and the children of Israel had to gather enough for one day. How wonderful it was to eat heavenly food day by day! Furthermore, God commanded His people to take an omerful of […]

We need to See and Experience the Characteristics of Christ as our Daily Manna

Psa. 119:103 How sweet are Your words to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

When we read the book of Exodus we may have a high appreciation for God delivering His people out of Egypt, the changing of bitter water into sweet, the law was given at Mount Sinai, etc but we may not appreciate the manna too much. But throughout their journey in the wilderness toward the good […]

Eating Nothing but Christ to be Reconstituted with Him and Build up the Church

God cares more for what we are than for what we can do for Him; thus, God cares very much for what we eat because what we eat determines what we live by and what we become. When God created Adam, He didn’t give him a to-do list but put him in front of the […]
