When we love the Lord, He manifests Himself to us, we have His fresh presence, and we enjoy the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity – all that the Father has is the Son’s, all the Son has is recevied by the Spirit, and the Spirit discloses what He receives of the Son to the believers.
Lord Jesus, we open to You today. We love You. Come in and make an abode with us. Make Your home in all our heart. Be our enjoyment and our everything. We want to live in Your presence. Manifest Yourself to us. Keep us in Your fresh and new manifestation. We open to Your divine dispensing. May there be a divine transmission going on in our being today. Hallelujah, the Triune God is in us and with us, and we can remain the whole day under His divine dispensing! Amen!
It is so wonderful to dig deeper into John’s ministry in the New Testament; he has a mending ministry, and his writings unveil the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
Paul’s ministry was a completing ministry, and John’s ministry was a mending ministry. We need to see a clear view of John’s mending ministry; otherwise, our teaching will not match what is on the Lord’s heart and our preaching will not touch His heart’s desire.
What satisfies the Lord’s heart is Paul’s completing ministry and John’s mending ministry.
When Peter and Andrew were called by the Lord, they were casting their nets into the sea; when John and James were called, they were in the boat, mending their nets with their father.
Peter and Andrew were in the fishing ministry and John and James were in the mending ministry.
This doesn’t mean that John came to fix what was broken in Paul’s ministry; it is much more than this.
The mending ministry is a healing ministry, for in the church history, after Paul completing ministry, the church became degraded, and many false teachings were brought into the churches.
Even heresies came in. So John wrote his gospel and his epistles to deal with the false teachings and in doing so, to bring us back to God’s economy.
We need this ministry today. We need to be mended in order to carry out a mending ministry.
The Lord did a wonderful work in our brother John, for he was quite an impetuous man, an impulsive man, even a man who was ready to grab a high position for himself in his natural man, but at the end of his life, he was fully dealt with.
He even wanted the Lord to cast fire down on the cities that rejected them, for he was impetuous and even rash.
But the Lord broke through in him, and he could say in Revelation 1:9, I John your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Jesus.
This one was qualified to have a mending ministry, and we today are under the mending ministry of John.
Love the Lord Jesus to enjoy the Lord’s Manifestation, His Making an Abode with us, and Go up the Stairway of the Lord’s Salvation!
In our Christian experience we sometimes may lose the Lord’s manifestation to us; we may enjoy the Lord in our time in the morning with Him, but then later we may say something or do something that will cause us to lose His presence.
This, however, does not mean that we have lost the abiding of the Spirit within us, for the Spirit always abides with the believers. Some Christians who lose the Lord’s presence think that, by not having the Lord’s manifestation to them in a fresh way, they actually lost their salvation.
They believe they can lose their salvation if they sin or lose the Lord’s presence. Such a salvation is an “elevator salvation” meaning that, when you’re enjoying the Lord, you are saved, but when you don’t sense His presence, you lose your salvation.
This is not according to God’s word. Our salvation is not an elevator salvation but a “stairway” kind of salvation, from which we can never be removed.
Once we are saved, once we’re regenerated, we are born of God, and we can never be unborn (John 1:12-13). Although we are on this stairway, we want to enjoy the blessing of the top part of the stairway.
We want to actually be on the “top floor” and not in the “basement”; this is why we need to love the Lord Jesus!
When we say, Lord Jesus, I love You, we love the Lord, and we are brought up to the top floor, and we see everything in the heavens (1 Cor. 2:9-10; Col. 3:1-2).
We simply need to daily remain under the divine dispensing, enjoying the Lord in all things, and telling Him that we love Him. When we love the Lord, not only does His Spirit abide in us but He will also manifest Himself to us. Amen!
This means that we have the presence of the One whom we love in our fellowship with Him. When we love the Lord, we have the Lord’s manifestation to us, His fresh presence.
John 14:21 and 23 tell us that if we love the Lord Jesus, He loves us, and the Father loves us also. This will bring in the Lord’s manifestation to us, and when the Son manifests Himself to us, the Father comes with Him to make an abode with us and stay with us.
When we love the Lord Jesus, we remain under the divine dispensing and we experience the manifestation of the Triune God.
We simply need to tell the Lord that we love Him. When we say, Lord Jesus, we love You! He not only abides in us but He manifests Himself to us.
We have the presence of the One whom we love in our fellowship with Him. If we love Jesus, Jesus loves us, and we enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
He manifests Himself to us, and the Father and the Son will make Their abode with us for our enjoyment. He abides in us and we abide in Him as we enjoy Him by loving Him.
May we be brought more and more into the manifestation of the Son to us, with the Father and the Son making an abode with us. May we go up the stairway of the Lord’s salvation by loving Him. He saves us more in His life as we love Him.
As we give ourselves to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30), He dispenses Himself into us, He makes an abode with us, and we are saved by the Lord much more. We advance; we go up, on the staircase of God’s salvation by loving the Lord.
The more we love Him, the more we open to Him to be saved by Him in His life. May we be saved from the concept of having an elevator salvation, having the feeling that we lose our salvation if we sin or are away from the Lord.
May we be brought on with the Lord by loving Him, having His manifestation, and being saved more in His life. May we open to Him in this respect and tell Him,
Lord Jesus, we love You! We love You and we want to have Your manifestation today. Appear to us. Thank You for always being with us and even in us as the Spirit. Manifest Yourself to us. We give ourselves to love You and to be in Your word. Hallelujah, when we love the Lord, He loves us, and the Father and the Son come to abide with us and be in us. Praise the Lord, our salvation is not an elevator salvation in which we can lose our salvation if we sin or lose the Lord’s presence. Amen, our salvation is a “stairway” salvation from which we can never be removed but rather, we advance with the Lord as we love Him! Lord Jesus, we love You! We love You and we want to love You more. We abide in You and we abide in Your word. Come in, Lord, and appear to us. Make an abode with us. Keep us under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity so that we may be filled with You and be saturated with You! Amen, Lord, we love You! We open to Your salvation. Advance in us. Save us more in Your life! Dispense more of Yourself into us! Amen!
Switch On the Law of Life to Receive the Divine Transmission of the Divine Trinity
In verses 13 through 15 in John 16 we see the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity.
In this portion of the Word the Lord Jesus told us that when He, the Spirit of reality, comes, He will guide us into all the reality, for He will not speak from Himself, but what He hears, He will speak.
Even more, the Spirit of reality will declare to us the things that are coming. The Spirit will glorify the Son, for He will receive from the Son and declare it to us.
All that the Father has is the Son’s, and all that the Son has, is, and has done, is made real to us by the Spirit of reality.
The Spirit receives from the Son and declares it to us. Here we see a process of transmission from the Father to the Son, from the Son to the Spirit, and from the Spirit to us.
Praise the Lord for the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity reaching us! This transmission is just like the transmission of electrical current.
When the electricity is switched on, there is a current of electricity, a moving of electricity, and that moving is the transmission.
In a certain room there are many lights and electrical appliances installed, and all you need to do is make sure you are plugged in or have the lights being switched on, and electrical current will flow.
We believers in Christ are plugged into the Triune God, for the law of the Spirit of life has freed us from the law of the sin and of death, simply by us being in Christ.
As long as we switch on, as long as we turn to our spirit and love the Lord, we receive and enjoy the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity.
The highest law in this universe is the law of the Spirit of life, a law that is higher than the law of sin and of death, for it overcomes any sin and death in our being as long as we switch it on.
We are connected to the law of the Spirit of life, for this law is in our spirit by means of the Spirit with our spirit.
The problem is not with the law of life or with the Lord Himself; the problem is with our switching; we do not switch on enough.
The capability is here, the power to overcome is in us, but we do not switch on.
The simple act of switching on is required to gain the benefit of electricity; the simple act of switching on the law of life is required for us to be freed from the law of sin and of death.
When we say, Lord Jesus, I love You! we flip the switch; we simply turn to our spirit, and we receive and enjoy the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity.
Many times in the church life we get worn out, we get frustrated, and we get down and out. It is almost as if we’re put in a coffin and we cannot get out of there.
But we can flip the switch; we can turn to our spirit. In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-20, we are given many ways for us to turn to our spirit, that is, flip on the switch so that we may be under the continual divine transmission of the Divine Trinity.
We can always rejoice, unceasingly pray, in everything give thanks, and not quench the Spirit nor despise prophecies. Simply rejoice in the Lord and give Him thanks for everything!
Regardless of the situation, regardless of the oppressive environment, and regardless of the argument we just had with our spouse, we should simply turn to our spirit by calling on the name of the Lord!
As we pray to touch the Lord, give Him thanks, and rejoice in Him, we turn to the Lord, and we receive His divine transmission. In Daniel 6:10 we see that Daniel prayed habitually three times a day, giving thanks to his God.
Even when the edict went out that all people should only pray to the king and worship no other god, he still went to his upper room, opened his windows toward Jerusalem, and prayed and gave thanks to his God, as he always did.
May we be those who persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving (Col. 4:2). When the environment is overwhelming, may we not let anything interfere with our prayer life.
When offenses come, when we get upset and angry or frustrated, may we continue to flip the switch by calling on the Lord, praising Him, thanking Him, and speaking for Him.
All that the Father has is the Son’s, all that the Son has is received by the Spirit, and all that the Spirit has received of the Son is disclosed to the believers. Eventually, all that the Divine Trinity is and has is ours.
This transmission is from the Father to the Son, from the Son to the Spirit, and from the Spirit to us; this is the move of the Divine Trinity for our experience.
May we open to Him and turn to Him so that we may enjoy the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity in our Christian experience day by day!
Lord Jesus, we open to the divine transmission of the Divine Trinity today! We exercise our spirit simply to contact You and be filled with You. Hallelujah, all that the Father has is the Son’s, all that the Son has is received by the Spirit, and all that the Spirit has received of the Son is disclosed to us in spirit! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to receive and enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity! Thank You for being installed in our being as the law of the Spirit of life, spontaneously and automatically freeing us in Christ Jesus! Amen, Lord, we thank You for all things! We praise You for everything! We rejoice in You, for You are the source of our joy! We choose to exercise our spirit and be in our spirit so that we may be under the divine transmission! Amen, Lord, even when we’re down and out, when we are offended, and when we are upset, may we learn to turn to our spirit and switch on the law of the Spirit of life! Grant us to have the Lord’s manifestation in a fresh way day by day! We love You, Lord Jesus!
