Spiritual Foot-Washing in Love is Necessary for Maintaining a Pleasant Fellowship

February 25, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The reality of the laver of bronze is the Lord Jesus Christ: He is the One who can wash us from any earthly defilement, and He did wash His disciples feet in John 13. From John 3 to 12 the Lord Jesus presented Himself to the people as the reality of all the offerings: He […]

Experiencing the Washing of the Life-giving Spirit from any Earthly Defilement

Eph. 5:26 That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word.

In order for us to really appreciate and be able to enter into the reality of the laver of bronze, we first need to see its significance. Not many Bible expositors have spoken concerning how can we experience Christ as the Spirit, the reality of the bronze laver, but this item in the tabernacle is […]

Being Reduced to Nothing to Pray at the Incense Altar for God’s Move and Dispensing

February 13, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

This week in our crystallization-study of Exodus we enjoyed in a deeper way a particular kind of prayer – not the general prayer, the petition, the questioning, the breathing, or the praising and thanking, but the interceding prayer, the interceding Christ as typified by the golden incense altar in the Holy Place in the tabernacle. […]

Praying at the Incense Altar with no Strange Fire or Strange Incense in our Prayer

February 12, 2016 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The Lord Jesus in His heavenly ministry is interceding for us, and He wants to gain many believers who cooperate with Him by being one with Him in His intercession. For this, we need to be in God (just as the priests were in the tabernacle when offering the incense on the altar), God needs […]

Carrying out Christ’s Intercession in our Prayers of Intercession in Oneness with Him

February 10, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Prayer is man cooperating and co-working with God, allowing God to express Himself and His desire through man, and thus accomplish His purpose. Witness Lee. Lord, I am ready to allow You to express Yourself and Your desire through me and thus accomplish Your purpose! Lord, I want to learn to pray the intercessory prayers that You need by praying!

It is both amazing and crucial for us to see and realize that the execution of God’s administration is motivated by the prayers offered to Him from the incense altar (see Rev. 8). In Rev. 6 the saints who were martyred pray from underneath the altar, asking the Lord desperately that He would vindicate and […]

The Executing Center of God’s Administration in the Universe is the Incense Altar

February 9, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

When we study the incense altar, we are studying the greatest matter in the universe. There is nothing more central than this. Although we are not politicians, we surely are heavenly statesmen. Furthermore, we are studying universal “politics,” that is, God’s politics. The Ark in the Holy of Holies is the central government, our heavenly Washington, D.C. The incense altar may be regarded as our heavenly White House. This means that everything is executed, motivated, and carried out from this divine center. The intercession of Christ is God’s White House. Christ’s interceding life, His prayer life, is the center of God’s administration. Witness Lee, Life-study of Exodus

We need to not only know the significance of the golden altar in the tabernacle and but we need to see a vision of this altar and apply it to our daily living in the church life. The incense altar signifies not only prayer but Christ as the Intercessor, the One who prays and intercedes […]

Seeing a Vision of the Golden Incense Altar: Christ Praying, Christ Interceding

February 8, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The incense altar is the place from which the activities at all the other places in the tabernacle and the outer court are motivated; Christ’s interceding life motivates us to experience the altar, the laver, the table, the lampstand, and the Ark. Witness Lee

After seeing a colossal, unprecedented, and astounding revelation concerning the three elements of the new revival portrayed in the golden lampstand, this week we come to the golden incense altar. The type of the golden incense altar in the Old Testament is profound, the reality of this altar in the New Testament is marvelous, and […]
