Having a life of the two altars, and how the altar of burnt offering and incense are connected

March 25, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

In the tabernacle there were two altars, the altar in the outer court, the bronze altar for burnt offering, and the other in the Holy Place, the golden altar for burning the incense. At the first altar all the negative things and problems are dealt with, and at the second altar we fellowship with God […]

Praying with Christ as the Incense Satisfies God and Carries out His Administration

March 24, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The incense typifies the resurrected and ascended Christ, the unique One who is received by God and acceptable to Him; thus, He becomes a sweet savor to God. Since the incense signifies Christ, to burn the incense means to pray Christ; God’s desire is that when we pray, we pray Christ. #ExoCS3, msg. 12

God in Christ as the Spirit comes to us as the holy anointing oil to add the elements of God to us and infuse us with all that God is; after Christ is being wrought into us, we can go to God in prayer with Christ, in Christ, and even as Christ to offer the […]

Being Salted by the Cross in our Prayer for a Pleasant Fragrance to Ascend to God

March 23, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

It is so sweet, calm, fragrant, and peaceful to see our wonderful all-inclusive Christ who was processed through incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection to become the ingredients of both the anointing (as God reaching man to fill and saturate man) and the incense (as the Christ wrought into us ascending to God for His satisfaction). The […]

The Ingredients of the Incense typify Christ with His Death and Resurrection

March 22, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

With the composition of both the anointing oil and the incense the principle is nearly the same. However, the anointing oil is for God’s coming to us, and the incense is for our going to God. In the anointing we have the Trinity, divinity, humanity, and the death and resurrection of Christ. In the incense we also have the Trinity, divinity, humanity, and Christ’s death and resurrection. Witness Lee, Life-study of Exodus, msg. 169

As those who love God, seek Him, and desire to experience Him, we need to know what makes Him happy and how can we contribute to the fulfilment of His purpose. What is it that satisfies God’s heart and what contributes to the fulfillment of His purpose? It is Christ, but in a more specific […]

The Anointing brings God to us and the Incense is our going to God with Christ!

March 21, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

This week is our last in the series of the Crystallization-Study of Exodus (part 3), and the topic for this week is, “The Incense”. After God gave the pattern of the tabernacle including the ark of the testimony, the incense altar, the showbread table, the lampstand, the burnt offering altar, and the laver, in Exo. […]

Do not Replace Christ with Anything else but Live According to the Inward Anointing

2 Cor. 1:21 But the One who firmly attaches us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God.

It is very important to know that the One who firmly attached us with the other saints in the Body unto Christ and who has anointed us is God (2 Cor. 1:21). On the one hand, God is the One attaching us unto Christ, and on the other hand, He is the One who anoints […]

Not being Anti-Anointing or Antichrist but Enjoying the Triune God as the Anointing

March 18, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

We need to be kept from having a living that is in the principle of antichrist (vv. 18, 22), the principle of being against Christ and replacing Christ, the principle of being “anti-anointing,” which is to be “anti” the moving, working, and saturating of the Triune God within us. #ExoCS3, msg. 11

Did you know that God is a divine and mystical “Painter”, and that He Himself has been processed and consummated to become the anointing with which He paints His believers to add His elements into them and make them His corporate expression? This is wonderful! In Exo. 30 we see the type of the compound […]
