Christ’s Care for us is Always Positive, for He cares for God’s Need and Interests

July 1, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

...God will listen to our prayer when our prayer to God is toward Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God as the goal in God’s eternal economy. This means that no matter for whom we are praying, our prayers should be aimed at the interests of God, that is, at Christ and the church as God’s interests on earth, for the fulfilling of God’s economy. 1 Kings 8:48, footnote 1, RcV Bible

It is very encouraging and comforting to know that Christ is our great High Priest caring for us today; however, even though Christ’s care for us may not be what we expect, His heart and care for us are always positive. Our Christ is a great High Priest – He is great in His person […]

Coming to the Throne of Grace in our Spirit to enjoy Christ as our great High Priest

June 30, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

Heb. 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all respects like us, yet without sin.

How thankful we are to God that we have such a great High Priest, Jesus Christ, who is now in ascension in the heavenlies and also in our spirit! Having therefore a great High Priest – Jesus Christ, the Son of God – who has passed through the heavens, let us hold fast the confession […]

Christ is Fully Qualified and Able to be our Merciful and Faithful High Priest

June 29, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Heb. 2:18 For being tempted in that which He Himself has suffered, He is able to help those who are being tempted.

Our Christ is a merciful and faithful High Priest (Heb. 2:17); He is fully qualified to be such a High Priest because He is both the Son of God with divinity and the Son of Man with humanity. Many believers know Christ only as their Lord and Savior, and they treasure the four Gospels and […]

Christ in His Heavenly Ministry is the Divine High Priest Saving us to His Perfection

June 28, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Heb. 7:24-25 But He, because He abides forever, has His priesthood unalterable. Hence also He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to God through Him, since He lives always to intercede for them.

Christ is the High Priest according to the order of Aaron to remove sin, a kingly High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek to minister God into us, and a divine High Priest to save us to the uttermost. God’s original intention is that He would dispense Himself as life and everything into the […]

Our Aaronic High Priest Removed Sin and our Kingly High Priest Ministers God into us

June 27, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

...His purifying of sins is typified by the work of Aaron, while His sitting down on the right hand of the Majesty on high (1:3) is according to the order of Melchizedek (Psa. 110:1, 4). His work on the cross on earth, typified by the work of Aaron, affords us forgiveness of sins. His ministry on the throne in heaven ministers to us the overcoming of sin. His cross delivered us out of Egypt; His throne brings us into Canaan. The Hebrew believers participated in His work on the cross. Now they had to press on to enter into the enjoyment of His ministry on the throne. Heb. 7:1, footnote 1, RcV Bible

The book of Hebrews is on the priesthood in its three aspects: the Aaronic priesthood (Christ offered Himself to God as the unique sacrifice for our sins), the kingly priesthood (Christ as our kingly High Priest ministers God into us), and the divine priesthood (Christ is saving us to the uttermost). Christ is the High […]

Christ as our High Priest is Interceding for us and He is Ministering God into us

June 26, 2017 by aGodMan 14 Comments

In His heavenly ministry Christ was designated a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek (Heb. 5:6, 10), not to offer sacrifices for sin as Aaron did but to minister to us the very God who was processed through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection, signified by the bread and wine (Matt. 26:26-28). 2017 spring ITERO, outline 5

Christ in His ascension is our High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek; He intercedes for us to be His overcomers to defeat His enemies so that Christ may be manifested in His second coming, and He ministers God into us. This week in the morning revival we are enjoying the topic of, The […]

Having a Prevailing Move in Life that Corresponds to Christ’s Heavenly Ministry

June 24, 2017 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Acts 5:42 And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and announcing the gospel of Jesus as the Christ.

Both the preaching of the gospel and the building up of the church in the church life today need to be as a prevailing move in life and of life, corresponding to Christ’s heavenly ministry under His headship. In the book of Acts we see how the disciples didn’t initiate anything to preach the gospel […]
