Keeping Ourselves in the One Flow of the Lord’s Work for the Spreading of the Church, and Receiving the Lord’s Mercy to Be Saved from Satan’s Schemes

In propagating Christ as the development of the kingdom of God on earth, we need to be those keeping ourselves in the one flow of the Lord’s work for the spreading of the church, and receiving the Lord’s mercy to be saved from Satan’s schemes. The Lord is spreading on earth today, both in number […]

If we would take possession of Christ for our enjoyment, we must fight against and defeat the satanic forces in order to gain more of Christ for the building up of the Body of Christ.

For us to take possession of Christ for our enjoyment, that is, for us to enjoy the all-inclusive Christ as the reality of the good land, we must fight against and defeat the satanic forces so that we may gain more Christ for the building up of the church. Christ is our good land; He […]

Allowing Christ to Build Himself into our being for the Building up of the Church

June 13, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make an abode with him.

For God to fulfill His eternal economy He needs to build Himself into our being by working Himself in Christ into us to be our life, our nature, and our constitution for the church as the one new man. Christ said that He will build His church (Matt. 16:18), and He does this not mainly […]

The Church is Built with Resurrection Life and Washed by the Word to be the Bride

January 12, 2018 by aGodMan 3 Comments

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water.

As seen in the type of Adam and Eve in Genesis 2 and shown throughout the New Testament, the church comes out of Christ, is built in His resurrection life, and is composed of all the believers in Christ who are being transformed to be the counterpart of Christ, the reproduction of Christ. We may […]

Christ’s Death and Resurrection Produced and Built up the Church as His Counterpart

January 11, 2018 by aGodMan 3 Comments

The rib taken from Adam’s opened side typifies the unbreakable, indestructible eternal life of Christ (Heb. 7:16; John 19:32-33, 36; Exo. 12:46; Psa. 34:20), which flowed out of His pierced side (John 19:34) to impart life to His believers for the producing and building up of the church as His counterpart. The Recovery of the Church (2017 fall ITERO), outline 9

Through Christ’s death and resurrection, God produced and built the church as the counterpart of Christ. Adam and Eve are a picture, a type, of Christ and the church; when Adam was created, he was a type of Christ, and his need for a wife shows the need Christ has for the church. In God’s […]

Seeing the Principle of Babylon and being Saved from Human Endeavor and Hypocrisy

November 27, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Matt. 6:1-6 v. 1 But take care not to do your righteousness before men in order to be gazed at by them; otherwise, you have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. v. 2 Therefore when you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 3 But you, when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, v. 4 So that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you. v. 5 And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 6 But you, when you pray, enter into your private room, and shut your door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

This week in our deeper study of the recovery of the church we come the matter of the degradation of the church – the principle of Babylon and the way to overcome it. As those who have been shown mercy by the Lord to be in the Lord’s recovery today, we are not in Babylon, […]

The Church is the issue of the Enjoyment of the Riches of Christ as the Good Land

October 30, 2017 by aGodMan 13 Comments

By enjoying the riches of the land, the children of Israel were able to build up the temple to be God’s habitation on earth and the city of Jerusalem to establish God’s kingdom on earth; likewise, by enjoying the unsearchable riches of Christ, the believers in Christ are built up to be Christ’s Body, the church, which is Christ’s fullness, His expression (Eph. 1:22-23), and which is also the habitation of God (2:21-22; 1 Tim. 3:15) and the kingdom of God (Matt. 16:18-19; Rom. 14:17). The sanctuary, the temple, is God’s house for His rest, and the city is God’s kingdom for His authority; both typify the church as God’s house and God’s kingdom, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem in eternity for the fulfillment of God’s eternal economy - Ezek. 48:8, 15; 1 Tim. 3:15; Rom. 14:17; Rev. 21:22-3, 22; 22:1, 3, 5. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 11

The holy temple and the holy city were built on and were the issue of the holy land, showing that the church is the issue of the enjoyment of the riches of Christ. The last two chapters of Ezekiel speak a lot concerning the holy land – not merely of the holy city or the […]
