Many times we miss a lot because we know things in general and we don’t get into the details – we may know in general that the Lord Jesus suffered for us and died for us, but we may not know the details. How did He die, what happened, what are the details? When you get into these details in the Word of God, your appreciation of Christ’s death and His suffering will increase to the uttermost, and you will love Him more!
the details of Christ’s sufferings for us before He died: He was hated, reproached, mocked, betrayed
our repentance and confession marries God’s forgiveness to produce something for God’s building
In a way, if in our Christian life we didn’t have a great failure – something that we do which makes the other saints shake their head when they think about it – we cannot say we have experienced a great repentance matched by God’s forgiveness… No, we don’t want to say, Let us do evil so that good may later come. We don’t want to tempt God nor do we desire to willingly fail, but we may fail and commit a great sin – we may have a great failure – and there will be a deep repentance that will follow.
Hear and see, forget and stretch forward to gain Christ now: the King will desire your beauty!
Psalm 45 is a psalm about Christ – praising Christ as the King. In this psalm we see a direct praise of Christ as the King and also an indirect praise of Christ by the psalmist praising the queen (the wife of the king), the daughters of the kings, and the sons of the king(the overcoming saints in the church). As a human being, a man needs a wife and children to be complete; in the same way, Christ is not a bachelor – He is the King with the queen and all the children! To praise Christ in a complete way, we must say something about Himself, about His queen, and about His children. Christ’s glory is seen in Christ Himself in the Gospels, in the church in the Epistles, and in the overcomers in Revelation. Praise the Lord for Christ, the church, and the overcoming saints!
that they all may be one even as You Father are in Me and I in You! (university training)
This year’s University Training was thought-provoking and exposing, but most of all it was very enjoyable! Even though I missed the first three days I felt that I gained so many valuable points. Before going into the training I had so many questions and thoughts on my mind regarding my future and what the Lord wanted […]
Samuel was a man according to God’s heart, God’s mind was his consideration! (university training)
The central work of God is to work Himself into His chosen and redeemed people. In order for this to happen, He needs our consecration. To consecrate ourselves to the Lord is to consent to God’s working in and on us, to consent to God’s using us, and to consent to God’s directing our ways. […]
we need to eat Christ as the Lamb of God with all the saints in the house of God!(2011 Poland camp)
This Poland camp I was very touched that the Lord is ready to come – He is eager to come, but He needs a dispensational instrument to turn this age! The enemy is working against God’s will and his strategy is to interrupt our cooperation with the Lord according to His desire. Today’s world is Satan’s system […]
to believe in the Lord is to receive Him; to love the Lord is to enjoy Him – we are nothing without Him!
This morning I was impressed with how short, how vain, and how passing man’s life is. David prayed to the Lord in Psa. 39:4-5, O Jehovah, cause me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is. May I know how transient I am. Behold, You have made my days as […]
