We all can testify that we cannot “feel” that the Triune God is in us in a spectacular or extraordinary way. There’s a living Person in us, and His speaking to us, His dispensing in us, is so normal and so fine. We should be blessed to be satisfied with ordinary normal routine days in the divine dispensing. We don’t know what’s really going on within us, but as we turn to the Lord, as we fellowship with Him, as we open to Him, and as we listen to His voice within us, there’s an increase of the element of God in our being daily. We Christians, must reject our mind, emotions, and will, and take the Lord Jesus as our life! Amen! This doesn’t mean that we don’t need our emotions and will but that we need to put them under the control of the spirit! We need to turn to the Lord in every situation and He will show us the way – we will have a feeling. I’m so vulnerable if I don’t turn to the Lord… but I want to live according to the spirit! What is is so good about the church life? What is it so good about brothers living together? It is the Triune God! Here we are fellow partakers, joint partakers, of the grace of life! We don’t insist on being right, but we obey the teaching of the anointing within (1 John 2:27) which teaches us to abide in Him! No matter what you say / what happens, the Triune God paints you with all the elements that are compounded in the Spirit! You may insist on something – as long as you’re in the church life, you are painted, and the ingredients of the processed and consummated Triune God are applied to you! God’s economical Spirit of power is for us to receive to preach the gospel (2011 WST)
Praise the Lord that when we feel weak or powerless, we can call on the Lord’s name and have this Spirit to strengthen our inner man so that we can preach the gospel! Without being in spirit, we cannot preach the gospel because we would be doing this in our self, not in the spirit. Thus, we need to call upon His name and have Him flow into us whenever we want to prophesy, preach the gospel, or to even talk! [sharing from the Winter School of Truth from a young brother]

This Winter School of Truth I was really impressed by the matter of the compound Spirit. Do you know that the Spirit is compound? All the aspects and matters in the Old Testament are types which find their reality in the New Testament. The ointment in Exo. 30:22-25 is a type of the Spirit. This holy anointing oil is composed of 5 ingredients: olive oil, flowing myrrh, sweet cinnamon, sweet calamus, and cassia. What does it mean that Christ is the cornerstone in God’s building? In the Psalms we see that Christ is the refuge rock, the blessed Rock, the protecting rock, the higher rock, the unique rock, the strengthening rock, the habitation rock, the unfailing rock, the salvation rock, and the trusting rock! Also, He is nine types of stones: the eternal rock, the foundation stone, the living stone, the cornerstone, the precious stone, the topstone, the cleft rock, the crushing stone, and the stone of stumbling! when we turn to our spirit we are filled with Christ and can be used by Him! (2011 WST)
even if our spirit is small and weak, and our soul is tall and strong, we need to deny our soul so that our mingled spirit may become strong. We should always have a strong inner man, a strong spirit! We need to be willing to be used by God. Our infilling of the Holy Spirit is not only for our nourishment, it is also for us to dispense. This means that we have to preach the gospel to our friends, to overthrow our schools with the word of God – the Lord wants to use us as His stepping stones. If not, then He would just pass us by and turn to another generation to fulfill His Goal. Oh Lord Jesus! Make us all willing!
