Our Unique and Ultimate Goal is the New Jerusalem, the Mingling of God and Man

Our Unique and Ultimate Goal is the New Jerusalem, the Mingling of God and Man

The degradation of the church today is mainly due to the fact that many Christian workers – many saints burdened by God and with a certain capacity to serve God – have taken another goal than the New Jerusalem for their Christian work. But God today does only one thing: He is building up the […]

The Seven Spirits of God Burn us and Refine us to Produce the Golden Lampstands

April 26, 2013 by aGodMan 3 Comments

The sevenfold intensified Spirit is the seven lamps of fire to burn, enlighten, expose, judge, purify, and refine us to produce the golden lampstands for the fulfillment of God’s New Testament economy (Rev. 4:5).

These days we have been getting into the matter of the golden lampstand – it’s significance, the type, the application, and what does it mean in our experience as Christians. We have seen that the lampstand in Exodus 25 typifies Christ, the lampstand in Zechariah 3 typifies the Spirit, and the seven lampstands in Revelation […]

The All-Inclusive Christ is Everything to Us for the Building of the Church

April 12, 2013 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Matthew reveals that for the building of the church (16:18), Christ is the King (2:1-2; 21:5), the Son of the living God (16:16), the Son of Man (8:20; 11:19), the Baptizer (3:11), the light (4:12-16), the Physician (9:12), the Bridegroom (v. 15), the unfulled cloth (v. 16), the new wine (v. 17), the Shepherd (v. 36), the Lord of the harvest (v. 38), the Friend of sinners (11:19a), wisdom (v. 19b), the One who gives rest (vv. 28-30), the real David (12:3), the One greater than the temple (v. 6), the greater Jonah (vv. 39-41), the One greater than Solomon (v. 42), the bread and crumbs under the table (15:26-27), and the resurrected One in His humanity with all authority in heaven and on earth (28:18-19).

In the first part of Zechariah (the first eight chapters) we see eight visions with many aspects of Christ related to the recovery of God’s building. In the second part of Zechariah (the last six chapters), there are some prophecies concerning Christ in the future, after the recovery of the temple. In Zechariah we see […]

Being the Overcomers who Fight the Spiritual Warfare to Hasten the Lord’s Coming

The prayers we utter before the Lord must stand against and resist “counter-prayers” that are directed particularly against the church and the work we are carrying out to build up the church (John 17:15; Matt. 6:13; cf. Psa. 31:20).

Our Christian life and church life today toward the end of this age is in the middle of a spiritual warfare. We need to be watchful and on the alert to know what the enemy is doing and what’s he up to, and bind him, limit his activities, and inflict loss on his kingdom. The […]

building up the church by growing in life and letting Christ make His home in us

The Father’s house, the house of Jehovah, is an entity in the divine life – there’s nothing of organization or human activity here, but there’s the flow and the growth in the divine life. For us to build up the church as the Father’s house we need to daily grow in life. Since it is […]
