In Daniel 10 we see the vision of the excellent Christ, who appeared to Daniel in His supreme preciousness as a man, and this was for Daniel’s appreciation, consolation, encouragement, and stabilisation; we need to redeem the time to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God to be constituted with Him today and be men of preciousness.
Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy You today! Continually unveil us to see the all-inclusive Christ, even as the One who is the supreme preciousness of God! Appear to us, Lord, and infuse us with what You are. Grant us a vision of the excellent Christ so that we may enjoy Him in His supreme preciousness as a man! Lord Jesus, we love You! Amen!
How blessed are we, believers in Christ, to have a change in our concept of value today! Before we believed into the Lord Jesus, we had a certain estimation and assessment of Christ and of God, but now we appreciate and treasure Christ much more.
We value Him as the chief cornerstone for the building up of the church, and we consider Him as more valuable and precious even than our relatives.
He is the treasure of justice and the excellency of the knowledge of Christ is much more precious than anything else.
As we come to the Lord in His word, He shines on us and our concept of value is changed so that we continually choose Christ and all that He is as our super-excelling portion.
We treasure the Lord more than our apportioned food, for we can taste the Lord in His word as the reality of the good land flowing with nourishing milk and fresh honey. Amen!
The apostle Peter saw that Christ Himself is the preciousness to us, the believers in Christ.
He was charmed by the Lord to such an extent that, no matter how much he failed and how many times the Lord rebuked him, he still followed the Lord as his Shepherd until his martyrdom.
Christ is the precious stone for God’s building, His blood is precious and applicable to us today, and we have the precious and exceedingly great promises of God for our enjoyment today. God allotted each one of us an equally precious faith.
Even though we may in a low condition, even in depression, when we see a vision of Christ in glory, we are encouraged and infused with Him.
Oh, may we be those who take heed to the Lord’s warning by exercising our spirit to pray that the Lord would open our inner eyes, soften our heart, and keep our heart turned to Him so that we may receive His inner healing for our blindness and sickness.
When we see Christ in His holiness based on His righteousness, we will realise we’re people of unclean lips, and we will open to the Lord to be cleansed and purged by Him so that we may serve Him and minister Him to others for them also to enjoy this glorious Christ and be His expression. Amen!
A Vision of the Excellent Christ Appearing to us in His Supreme Preciousness as a Man for our Appreciation, Consolation, Encouragement, and Stabilisation

In Daniel chapter 10 we see that Daniel also received a vision of the excellent Christ; Christ appeared to Daniel in His supreme preciousness as a man. This vision was for Daniel’s appreciation, consolation, encouragement, and stabilisation (see Dan. 10:4-9).
If we read this portion in Daniel, we may not understand much, for there are a lot of types and symbols here; we need the ministry of the age to properly interpret these types and figures so that we may be brought into a proper appreciation of the excellent Christ.
The excellent Christ appeared to Daniel in His priesthood for taking care of His chosen people; He was a man clothed in fine linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz.
He had a priestly robe; He was clothed in linen signifies that His humanity is His priestly robe. Christ appeared as a Priest in His humanity – signified by the linen robe – to care for His chosen people in their captivity (see Dan. 10:5; Exo. 28:31-35).
Christ is God’s centrality and universality, and as such a One, He is a Priest taking care of the children of Israel in captivity.
Christ also appeared in His kingship in His divinity, signified by the gold of the crown, for ruling over all the peoples. His loins were girded with the fine gold of Uphaz.
The girdle is for strengthening. Christ’s kingship is strengthened by the golden girdle, which shows that His kingship is divine and strengthens His functioning as a priest.
Even more, Christ appeared in His preciousness and dignity, which are signified by His body being like beryl.
The Hebrew word for beryl could refer to a bluish-green or yellow precious stone; this signifies that Christ in His embodiment is divine (yellow), full of life (green) and heavenly (blue). Wow.
We need to see a vision of the excellent Christ appearing to us in His supreme preciousness as a man; He is divine, full of life, and heavenly. What a wonderful Christ we have!
The fact that His face was like the appearance of lightning (Dan. 10:6) shows that Christ appears to us in His brightness to shine over the people in His enlightening.
This shining and enlightening is for His searching and judging, signified by His eyes being like torches of fire. What a wonderful Christ we have!
What an excellent Christ we see in His appearing to Daniel in His supreme preciousness as a man!
Christ appeared in His strong speaking for judging people, as signified by His arms and His feet being like the gleam of polished bronze.
Furthermore, Christ appeared in His strong speaking for judging people, as signified by the sound of His words being like the sound of a multitude.
He is on the throne, for there’s a God in the heaven, and the heavens do rule.
The entire world situation is under the rule of the heavens by the God of the heavens in order to give Christ the preeminence in all things, to cause Christ to have the first place in everything (Dan. 2:34-35; 7:9-10; 4:34-35; Col. 1:15, 18; Rev. 2:4-5).
This is what God is after; He wants Christ to have the first place in all things. For this, He rules and reigns, and the entire situation is under His rule so that Christ may have the preeminence in all things.
Christ must have the first place not only in the world situation but even more, in our personal universe. Today, Christ as the preeminent One must have the first place in our church life, family life, and daily life (Col. 1:17b, 18b; 3:17; 1 Cor. 10:31).
In all that we are and do, Christ, as the preeminent One, must be the centrality and universality in our life.
He must be the centre of our universe, the holding centre of all that is happening in us and all that we are.
Under His heavenly rule, God is using the environment to make Christ the centrality and the universality to us (Rom. 8:28; Col. 1:18, 27; 3:4, 10-11).
As Christ is ruling over everything, God uses all things, persons, matters, situations, and environments to make Christ the first and everything to us and in us.
This is why everything is happening in our life; we may not agree with certain things that are taking place, we may not like certain persons or situations, but God is sovereign over all things to make Christ preeminent in us, even for Christ to be the centrality and universality to us.
We are those chosen by God to be His people for Christ’s preeminence; we are under God’s heavenly rule to make Christ preeminent (Dan. 4:26b, 35; Col. 1:18; 3:4, 10-11; Psa. 27:4).
We believers in Christ are today under the heavenly rule in order for Christ to have the first place in everything.
When we see the vision of the excellent Christ appearing to us in His supreme preciousness as a man, we appreciate Him, we are consoled, we are encouraged, and we are stabilised.
Furthermore, we give this excellent One the preeminence in all things, giving Him the first place in everything.
Lord Jesus, grant us the have the vision of the excellent Christ appearing to us in His supreme preciousness as a man! May we see a vision of the excellent Christ for our appreciation, consolation, encouragement, and stabilisation! Oh Lord, You are the Priest in Your humanity to care for us as Your chosen people. You have the kingship in Your divinity to rule over all the peoples. May we see You in Your preciousness and dignity so that we may appreciate You as the One who is divine, full of life, and heavenly. Appear to us, Lord, and shine on us to search us and judge us. Even more, infuse us, Lord, and arrange all things around us and in us for Christ to have the first place. Oh Lord, we want to see a vision of the excellent Christ and give Him the preeminence in all things! May the preeminent Christ become the centrality and universality in our church life, family life, and daily life. Praise the Lord, we believers in Christ are under God’s heavenly rule to make Christ preeminent and cause Him to have the first place in all things! Amen, Lord, have the first place in all things in us today!
Redeem the Time to Enjoy Christ as the Supreme Preciousness of God for us to be constituted with Him to be Men of Preciousness, His Spiritual House and His Royal Priesthood!

When we see a vision of the excellent Christ today, we will simply give ourselves to enjoy Him.
Christ appears to us in His supreme preciousness and in His ruling not only to judge us and search us so that we may be purged and cleansed but even more, for us to enjoy Him.
Today we believers in Christ need to redeem the time to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God so that we can be constituted with Him to be men of preciousness as His personal treasure (1 Pet. 3:4; Dan. 9:23; 10:11, 19; 2 Cor. 2:10; Psa. 16:5; Exo. 19:4-6; 1 Pet. 2:1-9; 2 Pet. 3:8, 11-12).
In the book of Daniel we see how the angelic messenger came to him and told him that he is a man of preciousness, even preciousness itself. Because Daniel spent time with God and was infused with the excellent Christ whom he saw, he became a man of preciousness, even preciousness itself. Wow!
Daniel was not a man who was strong in himself; many times when he saw the Lord, he was terminated, and he needed to be strengthened by the Lord through His messengers, the angels.
But Daniel became a man of preciousness by seeing the vision of the excellent Christ who appeared to him in His supreme preciousness as a man.
Today we are in the New Testament age, and we realise that God is embodied in Christ, who today is the centrality and universality of God’s economy.
We need to redeem the time day by day to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God so that He can infuse Himself into us and make us men of preciousness, His personal treasure.
God wants not only some people into Him He can dispense Himself and who can fellowship with Him.
He wants to obtain a group of people who enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness so that they also may be constituted with Him to be men of preciousness as His personal treasure.
May we be such ones today. May we live in the Lord’s precious presence today, enjoying Him as our portion, even as He enjoys us as His treasure.
As we enjoy Christ by exercising our spirit day by day, we are strengthened into and grow in the hidden man of the heart, which is precious in His eyes.
We enjoy Him as our portion, we partake of His riches, and we are constituted with Him; at the same time, the Lord enjoys us as His treasure. Amen!
Like the apostle Paul, we may do all things in Christ, even in the presence of Christ, in the index of His eyes, for we appreciate Him, enjoy Him, and are one with Him in doing all things.
As we enjoy the Lord day by day, as we redeem the time to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God, He builds Himself into us to make us His spiritual house and His holy and royal priesthood for the accomplishment of His heart’s desire.
Our enjoyment and experience of Christ will cause us to be infused with God, even to have God in Christ built into us so that we may be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
We come to the Lord in His word day by day, we drink the guileless milk of the word, and we come to the Lord as a living stone, thus becoming living stones like Him.
He is the precious One, and to us who believe, He is the preciousness.
May we see that we believers in Christ who enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired for a possession!
Praise the Lord, as such ones, we tell out the virtues of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light! Amen!
He is our treasure, the most precious and excellent One, and as we enjoy Him as the supreme preciousness, we become men of preciousness, even the Lord’s treasure!
This will consummate in the New Jerusalem, the miraculous structure of treasure! Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, we want to redeem the time today to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God. Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to enjoy You today. Constitute us with Yourself to make us men of preciousness as Your personal treasure. May we live in Your precious presence today. May we enjoy You as our portion and may You enjoy us as Your treasure. Amen, Lord, You are the supreme preciousness of God to us, and we enjoy You as the excellent One. Hallelujah, as we enjoy Christ as the supremely precious One, we become men of preciousness and God’s personal treasure! Amen, Lord, we open to You; build Yourself into us a little more today. Make us Your spiritual house and Your holy and royal priesthood for the accomplishment of Your heart’s desire! We give ourselves to You today, Lord, to enjoy You as the precious One. We want to live and do all things in the index of Your eyes. Keep us in our mingled spirit today! You are the preciousness to us. We are Your personal treasure. We enjoy You and You enjoy us. Amen, Lord, we love You!

- Hymns on this topic:
– Not the law of letters, / But the Christ of life / God desires to give us, / Saving us from strife; / It is not some doctrine, / But ’tis Christ Himself / Who alone releases / From our sinful self. / Any kind of teaching, / Any kind of form, / Cannot quicken spirits / Or our souls transform; / It is Christ as Spirit / Gives us life divine, / Thus thru us to live the / Life of God’s design. (Hymns #541 stanzas 1-2)
– In tenderness He deals with me, / While I stay with joy in His presence; / And He saturates and supplies my soul / With all His precious essence. / And He speaks to me and reveals to me / All His riches for me today; / And in every way I partake of Him, / My problems all passed away. (Hymns #554 stanza 3)
– Living Stone of life art Thou, Lord, / Precious, chosen thus to be; / Living stones Thou too hast made us, / One in character with Thee. / Built together as a temple / That our God may dwell therein, / Thus we are a holy priesthood, / Offering sacrifice to Him. (Hymns #834 stanza 4)

Life-study of Daniel, pp. 93-94, by Witness Lee
We must redeem the time to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God so that we can be constituted with Him to be men of preciousness as His personal treasure; as we live in His precious presence, enjoying Him as our portion, even as He enjoys us as His treasure, He builds Himself into us to make us His spiritual house and His holy and royal priesthood for the accomplishment of His heart’s desire.
Hallelujah brother. Our Christ is so precious, valuable, complete & perfect.
He is all these things for our consolation, encouragement, expectation & stabilisation. His priesthood is human and His kingship is divine.
He is divine, full of life, and heavenly. We must learn three things: The universe is under God’s administration. God’s intention in His administration is to make Christ preeminent.
We must therefore give Christ our coordination & cooperation.
It’s through our cooperation & coordination, and through the rule of the heavens that God will fulfill His eternal intention…
I enjoyed this Hymn this morning:
Keep our eyes fixed on You today, Dear Lord Jesus!
Daniel 10:5 footnote 1 on, there was a certain man, Recovery Version Bible.

Daniel saw the vision concerning Christ as the precious One in God’s move!
The Christ whom Daniel saw was such a One. He is precious, valuable, complete, and perfect.
As a man He is the very centrality and universality of God’s move to carry out His economy. He is so precious, bright, shining, enlightening, and testing.
As the Priest He is taking care of us, and as the King He is ruling over us. How wonderful He is!
May we all see the vision of the excellent Christ in Daniel.🙏🙏🙏
