Seeing the Pattern of the Apostle Paul as one who Lived Christ for His Magnification

Apparently the apostle, as a prisoner in bonds, had entered the area of the dark capital of the Satan-usurped empire. Actually, as the ambassador of Christ with His authority (Eph. 6:20; Matt. 28:18-19), he had come into another part of the participation in His church’s Body life in the kingdom of God on earth. While he was suffering the persecution of religion in the empire of Satan, he was enjoying the church life in the kingdom of God, which was a comfort and an encouragement to him. Witness Lee

What we see in the book of Acts is not only a record of what the apostles and disciples did after the Lord left but the continuation of Christ, Jesus living again in the many members of His Body for His corporate expression. Today we are in "Acts … [Continue reading]

We are the Continuation of Acts, the Continuation of Christ as the members of His Body

Today we are in the continuation of the book of Acts: the word of God is still growing and being multiplied for the increase of Christ, the continuation of Christ, and there is a corporate living of the perfected God-men to be the reality of the Body … [Continue reading]

Taking Christ as Life and Living the Body Life for God to Gain a Shining Testimony

The vessel God is after is a corporate one. Therefore, we have to learn to live the Body life. In order to live the Body life, we have to deny the natural life and be judged and dealt with by God in a deep way. We must learn obedience, and we must also learn fellowship. In this way, we will have the chance of becoming God’s vessel. Watchman Nee

The book of Acts speaks of the propagation of the resurrected Christ in His ascension, by the Spirit, through the disciples, for the producing of the churches - the kingdom of God, which are the Body of Christ, the corporate vessel of God on … [Continue reading]

Being One with God’s Work in the Divine Stream Today for the Increase of Christ

The work of the Holy Spirit in preaching Christ for His propagation, multiplication, and spread through the believers of Christ was not yet completed and needed to be continued for a long period of time. Such an evangelistic work for Christ’s increase, propagation, multiplication, and spread is according to God’s New Testament economy for the producing of many sons for God (Rom. 8:29) that they might be the members of Christ to constitute His Body (12:5) for the carrying out of God’s eternal plan and the fulfillment of His eternal will; this is revealed in detail in the twenty-one Epistles and the book of Revelation, which follow the book of Acts. Acts 28:31, footnote 2

Today in our morning revival we start a new topic, The Increase of Christ for the Building up of the Church (based on the 2016 Memorial day Conference). In our Christian life we need to be hungry for more of God, hungry for more of what He has to … [Continue reading]

Experiencing and Ministering the Eternal Life for the Church to be Full of Life

God intends for the church to manifest the life of Christ; hence, the church must be full of life, and our service in the church must minister life. 2016 Spring ITERO, outline 8

This week I was really encouraged to see that we, as believers in Christ, not only HAVE the eternal life and MAY experience this life, but we also CAN minister this life to other members of the Body of Christ. First, we as children of God have … [Continue reading]

Having the Outflow of Life by being One with Christ in His Life-Releasing Death

If we would minister life to others, we need to be aware of the attack upon the church by death (Matt. 16:18; Rom. 5:17, 21). From Eden onwards, God’s controversy with Satan has been on the issue of life and death (Gen. 3:3-4; Rom. 5:12, 17, 21; 1 Cor. 15:22). 2016 Spring ITERO outline 8

As believers in Christ, we must always remember that our service to Him should be God's flowing out to supply others with the divine life (see John 7:37-39); for this, we need to be one with Christ in His life-releasing death so that His life would … [Continue reading]

To Minister Life is to have the Outflow of Life through the Exercise of our Spirit

Life is the content of God and the flowing out of God; God’s content is God’s being, and God’s flowing out is the impartation of Himself as life to us. If we want the divine life to be released from within us, we must be subdued in our soul and let our spirit dominate and rule over every matter; then the Lord’s life will be able to flow out. Witness Lee

As those who serve the Lord in spirit and in the church, we need to be deeply impressed with the necessity of being able to minister life (see 1 John 5:11-16), that is, to have an outflow of life. What we need in the church life is not more great … [Continue reading]
