Focus on Christ and Think the One Thing: to Enjoy and Experience Christ Subjectively

Make my joy full, that you think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking the one thing. Phil. 2:2

As believers in Christ, we need to focus on Christ and think the one thing - the enjoyment and experience of Christ in a subjective way day by day. Since the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ is the unique solution to all the problems in the … [Continue reading]

We’re Called into the Fellowship of Christ to Enjoy Him as our All-inclusive Portion

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor. 1:9

As believers in Christ, we have been called into the fellowship of Christ so that we may enjoy Him as our allotted portion given to us by God for our enjoyment; we need to focus on nothing else but enjoying the all-inclusive Christ in all that He … [Continue reading]

Being One with the Lord to Live Christ for God’s Manifestation unto New Jerusalem

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. 1 Cor. 6:17

We believers in Christ can live in the principle of incarnation, being so one with the Lord and permeated with Him that even our opinion expresses His mind to be His manifestation in the flesh; the consummation of this manifestation is the New … [Continue reading]

We Exercise our Spirit to live out Godliness for God’s Manifestation in the Flesh

This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church. Eph. 5:32

Today God is manifested in the church, for the manifestation of God is the proper living of the church; when we exercise our spirit, we are one spirit with the Lord, and godliness is our living, for God is expressed in us and through us. The Lord … [Continue reading]

God as Life Lived out in the Church for His Expression is the Mystery of Godliness

In order for the church to be the manifestation of God in the flesh, we must live not by our self but by God. If we live by God and take God as our living and our person, then when we come together, it will be the manifestation of God in the flesh. The church is a group of people who have been redeemed and regenerated and who live by God. God is their life, their nature, their person, and their living; when they come together, all the angels will say, “Confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was manifested in the flesh.” This is the church. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1977, vol. 3, “The Subjective Truths in the Holy Scriptures,” pp. 180-181

The great mystery of godliness Paul spoke of in 1 Tim. 3:15-16 is Christ lived out of the church as the manifestation of God in the flesh, which is the church as the house of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth. Amen! God's desire is … [Continue reading]

The Corporate Manifestation of God in the Flesh is Christ and the Church, the Body

So then we, from now on, know no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him so no longer. 2 Cor. 5:16

1 Tim. 3:15-16 indicates that not only Christ Himself as the Head of the Body is the manifestation of God in the flesh but also the church as the Body of Christ, the house of the living God, is the corporate manifestation of God in the flesh, the … [Continue reading]

Through Incarnation, the Word became Flesh for God to be Manifested in the Flesh

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9

The Word, who is God, became flesh, and in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; in Christ, God was manifested in the flesh, that is, God was living a human life, and in us today He can manifest Himself if we live in resurrection … [Continue reading]
