Thank the Lord that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding for us to know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son, Jesus Christ; Christ has come as the Spirit of reality to be our life and give us an understanding of God in our regenerated spirit through our renewed mind.
Amen, Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit today. We want to enjoy You. We want to know You in a subjective and intimate way. May we apprehend the true One and realise that we are in Him who is true. Amen, Lord Jesus, keep us abiding in You. We want to abide in You so that You may abide in us! Keep us abiding in You today, in whatever we do! Amen!
How we thank and praise the Lord that He has come into us to be our life. God the Father is the source of the eternal life, and He wants to share His life, impart His life, and dispense what He is into many human beings.
He wants to flow out His life and dispense His life and nature into us. So He is not just God but also the Father, for He wants to impart His life into many children. Christ as the Son of God, the second of the Divine Trinity, came as the Word of life and as life.
He was manifested in time through incarnation. He is eternal and preexisting, but He became a man, being manifested to destroy the works of the devil, be a propitiation for our sins, dispense His life into us, and be our Advocate with the Father. Our Lord Jesus is so much! He is so wonderful!
On the negative side, He destroyed the devil and accomplished an all-inclusive redemption. On the positive side, He came so that we may have life and may have it abundantly; now we can have life and live through Him. Praise the Lord!
And if we sin, we have Him as our Advocate with the Father, and we can confess our sins and have Christ as the One who restores us to a proper fellowship with God the Father. Hallelujah!
After passing through all the processes, Christ became a life-giving Spirit, even the Spirit of reality, to come into us and be with us and guide us into all the reality of what God is.
Now the Spirit of reality with our spirit guides us into what God is and has for us, and we can enjoy God in a bountiful way by means of the Spirit, to whom we are joined as one spirit.
Praise the Lord for the Triune God coming to us, doing everything for us, and being everything to us in our spirit! We love You, Lord!
We Know that the Son of God has Come and has Given us an Understanding for us to Know Him who is True

1 John 5:20 is a wonderful verse telling us that we, believers in Christ know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true. This is the first part of the verse.
We know. Amen, we know! If we take this verse and make it our prayer, we will be filled with appreciation toward the Lord, for we believers in Christ can know God subjectively!
What a gift we have been given, that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding!
We don’t have to go to theological seminary nor do we need to be in a Bible school to know this: simply because the Son of God has come into us as the Spirit, we know Him who is true! Hallelujah!
We may be in a good situation, having a job that takes care of our needs, and having a lovely family life; when we turn to our spirit, we know Him who is true.
We may be in not such a good situation, for everything around us is quite contrary to us, and our job is a prison for us, and even our family life may not be that pleasant; even in such a situation, we can know Him who is true, for we have an understanding.
God the Father wants us to know Him as the true One. We are in Him who is true, and we can know the true God and eternal life.
We believers in Christ, beginning with the apostles, can know God. First, the apostles in their teaching and fellowship and then we believers in Christ as members of the Body of Christ, we all can know and have an understanding to know Him who is true (1 John 1:3, 6-7).
The knowing here refers to knowing by experiencing, enjoying, and possessing the divine reality (3:2, 5). It is not mere mental knowledge but a subjective knowledge by our enjoying, experiencing, and possessing the divine reality.
How can we know the true One? We can know Him who is true, the true One, by means of the faculty of our mind enlightened and empowered by the Spirit of reality (John 16:12-15) to apprehend the divine reality in our regenerated spirit.
Wow, the divine reality is in our regenerated spirit, but we can apprehend it by the faculty of our enlightened and renewed mind!
We need to realise that the Son of God has come through the processes of incarnation, human living, crucifixion, death, and resurrection, and He is now the Spirit of reality mingled with our spirit to guide us into all the reality of what the Triune God is and has.
In our natural being, in our unrenewed mind, we have no understanding of God as the true One; even more, the unregenerated people have a deadened spirit and a darkened mind, and they can’t know the invisible God.
But praise the Lord for His mercy on us, for we have believed into the Lord Jesus, and now we can exercise our mingled spirit and use our enlightened and renewed mind to know and have an understanding of the true One, for we are in the true One!
The Lord Jesus has come and has given us an understanding for us to know the genuine and real God.
As seen in the Gospels, He went through the steps of incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection. He accomplished redemption for us, and when we repented and believed in Him, we received in Him.
When we believe into the Lord, we are regenerated with His life so that our spirit is enlivened, our darkened mind was enlightened and is being renewed, and our sins are forgiven.
The Spirit of reality has come into our spirit to revive, regenerate, and enliven our spirit, and this Spirit is also spreading into our mind to renew and enlighten our mind so that we may have an understanding! Amen!
The more we come to the Lord in His word, exercising our spirit and turning our heart to Him, the veil is taken away, we behold the Lord, and we have an understanding of Him who is true, in whom we are (1 Cor. 3:16-18).
May we see that we now can know God by means of His life in us, for His Spirit is with our spirit, and when we exercise our spirit, we have an understanding and are able to know the true One!
On the one hand, we know Him subjectively and intimately in our personal time with Him; on the other hand, we also experience Him in our daily living so that we may enter into and possess the divine reality.
Thank the Lord that the Son of God has come to us and has given us an understanding so that we may know God.
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming as the Son of God to give us an understanding so that we might know Him who is true! Hallelujah, the Son of God has come to us by the steps of incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection to be our life. Amen, Lord, we believe into You. We repent. We receive You as our life. Come into us. Mingle Yourself with us. Enlighten our mind and elevate our spirit. We exercise our spirit and we allow You to enlighten and renew our mind. Guide us as the Spirit of reality into all the reality of what God is. Hallelujah, the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true! Amen, Lord, we want to know Him who is true so that we may realise we’re in the true One, the One who is true. May we experience, enjoy, and possess the divine reality in our daily life. Bring us into the subjective knowledge and understanding of God. Hallelujah, we may know God in a subjective and intimate way today!
We have the Divine Life: we can Know the True God and Partake of God as Love and Light

All human beings desire and aspire to know God. There are a lot of teachings out there, and there are a lot of people who say they have found the way to know God and understand God.
But what the Bible tells us is that Christ has come as the Son of God, and God has given Him authority over all flesh to give eternal life to all whom God has given to Him.
And this is eternal life, that we may know the only true God and Him whom He has sent, Jesus Christ (John 17:2-3).
This is eternal life: to subjectively and intimately know God, the true God, and the One whom He has sent, Jesus Christ.
The Gospels reveal to us that the Son of God has come through incarnation and through death and resurrection as the Spirit to bring God to us as grace and reality so that we may have the divine life and partake of God as love and light (John 1:14; Eph. 2:17; 1 John 1:5; 4:16).
If we exercise our spirit and allow the Lord to enlighten and renew our mind as we come to the Word of God, we will realise that the Son of God has come and now He is the Spirit of reality in our spirit.
We now have the divine life, and we can know the true God and partake of God as love and light. In order for us to know a particular person with a particular life, we need to have the same kind of life.
A dog can never understand a man, for a dog has only a dog’s life, not a human life. It is the same with God; we can understand God and know God only if we have the life of God, the divine life.
We believers in Christ have been shown mercy by God to have the divine life; by repentance and faith in Christ, we have received the divine life, and now we can know the true God.
We now have an understanding coming from the eternal life. The eternal life in us, the divine life in our spirit, has the capacity to know God.
Through our being born again, we have received the divine life, the life of God; now we have the eternal life in our spirit. By means of this life, we can know the true God.
By means of the divine life, we can partake of God as love and light. The secret is our mingled spirit, where the life of God is, and in our being-renewed mind, the mind that is saturated with Christ.
Just as a child can know his father because he has the same life as his father, so we believers in Christ as children of God can know our Father God by means of the divine life we have from our Father.
In our daily living, beginning from the morning, we can come to the Lord and ask Him for the measure of grace we need for today. We can ask Him to just supply us and reveal Himself to us.
We can simply open to the Lord as we pray, and we can allow Him to work in us and dispense Himself into us. His grace is always sufficient to us.
As we open to the Lord in prayer, calling on His name and praying over His word, the Triune God is dispensing Himself into us as grace.
He enables us to live the Christian life and withstand all that comes before us.
Throughout the day, without making any outward show or display, we can contact the Lord inwardly by calling on His name and praying to Him, and we can know God intimately and subjectively.
As we receive His divine dispensing, as He works Himself into us little by little, day by day, He makes us the same as He is. He makes us the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function.
On one hand, we exercise our spirit to contact God; on the other hand, we have an understanding in our mind enlightened and empowered by the Spirit of reality to apprehend the divine reality in our regenerated spirit (John 16:12-15).
May we be open vessels to the Lord for Him to flow into us more and more!
Lord Jesus, thank You for regenerating us with the divine life to make us children of God. Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit today to contact You. We turn our heart to You and we set our mind on our spirit so that we may have an understanding to know the true God! Hallelujah, we have the divine life in our spirit, and we can know the true God, even enjoy and partake of God as love and light! Wow, Lord, may we realise that, because we have the eternal life, we can know God subjectively, and we can enjoy God as love and light. Hallelujah, the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding for us to know the true God! Praise the Lord, our mind is enlightened and empowered by the Spirit of reality to apprehend the divine reality in our regenerated spirit! Amen, the divine reality of all that God is and has is in our spirit, and our enlightened and renewed mind can understand the true God! We open to You, Lord. Keep our vessel open to You today!

- Hymns on this topic:
– God’s Spirit His transmission is, / In Him God enters into us; / It is in Him that God in Christ / May be experienced by us. / God as the Father is the source, / And God the Son doth Him express; / God as the Spirit enters us, / That God as all we may possess. (Hymns #610 stanzas 1-2)
– The more we live in Christ, the life divine, / And by the inner consciousness behave, / The more we’ll have the inward knowledge true, / And on our heart God will His Son engrave. (Hymns #739 stanza 7)
– It is the inner sense in us, / The inmost consciousness, / Discerning matters inwardly, / God’s will to thus express. / ’Tis by this sense that God we know, / The sense of inner life; / ’Tis pow’rful and spontaneous, / And not of any strife. (Hymns #738 stanzas 4-6)

First John 5:20 speaks of knowing the true One. Here the word know actually means “experience, enjoy, and possess.”…In this universe only God Himself is the true One. We need God’s life in order to experience, enjoy, and possess Him. This Epistle reveals clearly that we have received the divine life, for we have been born of Him. Just as a child can know his father because he has the father’s life, so we can know God because we have God’s life…Because we have the life of God, we are able to experience God, enjoy God, and possess God. (Life-study of 1 John, pp. 344-345)
Dear brother, we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son, Jesus Christ.
This is the true God and eternal life. Thank the Lord that He came through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection into us to grant us a subjective understanding and knowledge of God and of the eternal life.
We now can understand with our enlightened and empowered mind to apprehend the divine reality in our regenerated spirit.
Amen, Lord, thank You for our spirit. We exercise our spirit. Renew our mind. May we know the true One. May we remain in the true One!
Amen. Lord we want to know You and remain in You as the true one!
Only God Himself is the true One. Therefore, for us to know God — to experience, enjoy & possess God — we need His life.
The life of God has the capacity to know God. The life of God has enlightened our darkened mind and enlivened our deadened spirit with the Spirit of reality.
Our Christian life should be a progressive knowing of God and the things of God. This sets us apart from unbelievers and make us mystical.
We christians are a mystery.
Oh! Lord Jesus Christ!
We love you, because you loved us first.
Thank you for the Spirit of reality to enlighten our mind and quicken our spirit so that we can know and understand you properly.
Lord Jesus you came to us through incarnation and tabornacle among us with full of grace and reality. You are the expression or the reality of God for our enjoyment. Divinity mingled with humanity through your long-suffering journey from incarnation to resurrection as the life giving Spirit to dwell in us in regeneration.
In this regeneration, the old nature of Adam terminated and the new man was germinated.
Oh! Lord, thank you for your love, the source of grace, and light, the source of reality to know and understand you through the help of the Spirit of reality to quicken our spirit following by the enlightening of our mind.
We praise you all the time. Amen.
