Gradually Grow up to Become Sons of God, the Peacemakers, Inheriting the New Jerusalem

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Rom. 8:14

We believers in Christ are children of God, and we gradually grow in life to become the sons of God, those who are peacemakers, expressing Christ as the Son of God, the Peacemaker, the One who lives in us; the sons of God will inherit the New Jerusalem for eternity, the eternal city of peace!

Praise the Lord for the blessedness of those who mourn, of those who are meek, and of those who are the peacemakers, called the sons of God! We believers in Christ are the kingdom people; we have been regenerated by God with His life and nature, and we are part of the kingdom of God.

As the kingdom people, we are those who mourn; mourning may not be such a positive thing, but when we’re one with the Lord and are poor in spirit, we cannot but mourn.

To mourn is to feel or show deep sorrow or regret. The entire situation today is negative toward God’s economy, for God’s glory is insulted, Christ is rejected, the Holy Spirit is frustrated, and the church is desolate. Even more, our self is corrupt, and the whole world is evil.

As those poor in spirit, we are one with the Lord to mourn over the situation today.

Our heart is grieved, and we pray and mourn over the situation. We not only mourn and pray, but we are meek toward others. We do not condemn, criticise, or demand things from others; we are meek toward them.

Instead of invading others space or fight with them, we are willing to give in. At the same time, we fight against the enemy and his power of darkness.

The enemy is not the people who may oppose us but Satan and his kingdom of darkness. We come to the Lord as the One meek in heart, and we learn from Him; we allow Him to live in us a life of meekness.

We simply have the meekness of Christ. The meek will inherit the earth. Amen!

Furthermore, as those who are meek, who are righteous toward ourselves, merciful toward others, and joyful toward God, we are the peacemakers.

Satan instigates all rebellion and discord; we as sons of our Father God who is a God of peace are the peacemakers.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. We have peace with God, we have peace with others, and we have peace with ourselves, and wherever we go, we bring in peace.

Amen, Christ came proclaiming peace, He made peace for us, He is our peace, and He is being reproduced in us as the many sons of God for us to be peacemakers. Amen, may we be the peacemakers today!

Gradually Grow up to become Sons of God, the Peacemakers, one with Christ as the Peacemaker

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:26

Matthew 5:9 tells us that those who are the peacemakers shall be called the sons of God. Amen, those who are peacemakers are not called merely peacemakers but the sons of God!

We believers in Christ are children of God, and we gradually grow up to become the sons of God.

Growth is implied. Inwardly, we have a proper inward condition toward the Lord, and something comes out spontaneously as our expression: we are the peacemakers.

What comes out of us is peace; we make peace, we bring peace, and we are peacemakers.

For the anxious watching of the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God. Rom. 8:19 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Matt. 5:9When we express Christ outwardly by being peacemakers, we will be called the sons of God, because it is Christ as the Son of God who is the Peacemaker, and we are one with Him.

Christ is the real Peacemaker, and we are the sons of God. If we’re those who are poor in spirit, mourning, meek, hungry, and thirsty for righteousness, merciful toward others, and pure in heart, surely we will be peacemakers.

To be peacemakers is to be the sons of God; being sons of God means that we grow in life, even gradually grow in the divine life to be sons of God.

Thank the Lord that, in His salvation, God makes sinners into sons of God.

The central thought of the book of Romans is that in His salvation God is making sinners His sons with His life and nature so that they may become constituents of the Body of Christ for His expression.

The intrinsic constituent of God’s economy is the matter of sonship; God’s salvation is not just to save sinners from God’s judgment and His condemnation so that they may be with Him.

God’s salvation is to save us, even to save us to the uttermost in His life so that we, who were sinners, would be made sons of God for the building up of the Body of Christ!

The matter of sonship can be particularly seen in chapter 8 of Romans. Verse 14 says that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

This indicates that we may know that we are sons of God by the fact that we are led by the Spirit. Those who are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

We have received God’s life and the Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16). We can say, Abba, Father, for God is our Father.

However, we need to grow in life, gradually growing in the divine life to be led by the Spirit of God. The leading of the Spirit marks us out as being sons of God in the growth in life.

May we continually grow in life day by day. May we receive the Lord’s mercy to grow in life and never stop. First, we are children of God, and gradually we become sons of God.

God wants all the children of God to be sons of God. In His salvation, God is making us sinners into sons of God with His life and nature so that we may become constituents of the Body of Christ for God’s corporate expression.

May we follow the Spirit’s leading within to be sons of God.

The focal point of God’s economy, His dispensation. God in His economy is dispensing Himself into us, His chosen people, to make us His sons.

Christ came and accomplished redemption; when we believe in His redeeming work and receive His life, we become children of God, having God’s life and nature (John 1:12-13; 3:6).

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory... Heb. 2:10 Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers. Rom. 8:29Now we need to go on to cooperate with the Lord to gradually grow in life so that we may be sons of God, even mature sons of God, who are peacemakers.

Thank the Lord that His economy is to make us sons of God, inheriting the blessing of God’s promise, which was given for His eternal purpose to have many sons for His corporate expression (Heb. 2:10; Rom. 8:29).

In Romans 8:19 we are told that the whole creation is anxiously watching, even eagerly awaiting the revelation of the sons of God. The whole creation wants us to grow in life unto maturity to be the sons of God.

This verse speaks of the manifestation or the appearing of the sons of God.

These sons of God are the peacemakers, one with Christ as the Son of God who came to make peace, be our peace, give us peace, and be the peace among men. Galatians 3:26 says, You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Faith in Christ brings us into Christ and makes us one with Christ, in whom is the sonship. We are one with Christ. We are into Christ; in Christ is the sonship.

We must be identified with Christ through faith so that in Him we may be sons of God.

As we live in the kingdom life today, we want to enjoy the blessedness of being those who mourn (for they shall be comforted), of being the meek (who will inherit the earth) and of the peacemakers (who will be called the sons of God). May we such ones today! Amen!

Lord Jesus, thank You for regenerating us with Your life to make us children of God. Hallelujah, we are children of God, those born of God with His life and nature. Praise the Lord, the Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. Amen, Lord, grow in us. May we gradually grow up to become sons of God. Bring us on, dear Lord, to maturity. Keep us open to You in Your economy; keep us open to Your divine dispensing today. Make us sons of God in full. Praise the Lord, in His salvation God is making sinners His sons with His life and nature so that they may become constituents of the Body of Christ for His expression. Amen, Lord, we love You! We come to You and we allow You as the Spirit to lead us so that we may be the sons of God! Praise the Lord, we are all sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ! Amen, Lord, as sons of God, we want to be the peacemakers today, those who express Christ as the Peacemaker, the One who made peace and who is our peace! Amen!

The Sons of God Participate in the New Jerusalem as its Constituents and Enjoy the Eternal Supply of Life

He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be God to him, and he will be a son to Me. Rev. 21:7

In the aspect of life, we believers in Christ are children of God gradually growing in the divine life to be sons of God, even to become heirs of God. In the aspect of the kingdom, the aspect of God’s ruling, we believers are citizens of the kingdom of God.

When we read the constitution of the kingdom of the heavens in chapters five through seven in the Gospel of Matthew, we realise that these two aspects are intertwined: we are sons of God and citizens of God’s kingdom, and our growth in life and living by the divine life is for the living of the kingdom life.

The focal point of God’s economy is sonship; He wants to gain many sons, those mature in life who express God in His life and nature and who represent Him with His dominion.

In His economy God is making us, the sinners, into sons of God. Hallelujah! In Revelation 21:7 we see that he who overcomes will inerit these things, and God will be God to him and he will be a son to God. Praise the Lord!

The aspect of overcoming here refers to overcoming by believing, as we see in 1 John 5:4-5.

When we believe, when we grow in faith and become the sons of God in full, we are the Lord’s overcoming saints, and we participate in the New Jerusalem with all its enjoyment!

In this age we grow in life. We need to gradually grow in the divine life unto maturity to be the sons of God, who are the peacemakers.

For eternity, we will enjoy and participate in the New Jerusalem with all its enjoyment as a common portion of God’s eternal salvation! Praise the Lord!

For eternity in the New Jerusalem, we will be the sons of God, sons to God, for we as believers in Christ, will dwell in the New Jerusalem and will enjoy God for eternity.

The sons of God in the New Jerusalem are the constituents of the New Jerusalem.

As we live our daily life today as believers in Christ, we ned to see that we are sons of God, and we need to live by the divine life so that we may be led by the Spirit and be the sons of God, those who are peacemakers.

As we grow in life gradually, as we grow unto maturity, we who have the divine life and nature are being built together through transformation to be the corporate expression of God.

For everything that has been begotten of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory which has overcome the world - our faith. And who is he who overcomes the world except him who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5This can be seen in spirit today, and for eternity everyone will see it, for we will be the New Jerusalem – we as sons of God will be the components, the constituents of the New Jerusalem! Amen!

Wow, the New Jerusalem is constituted of all these sons who have been born of God. What an amazing revelation! Have you seen this before? Do you see it now? We need the Lord’s shining on this matter.

We don’t want to just know this in our mind but even more, enjoy this, experience this, and enter into this reality in this age so that we may participate in its reality in the coming age.

We as the sons of God are the constituents of the New Jerusalem, and we will also dwell in the New Jerusalem.

For eternity, we will enjoy the eternal supply of life for us as the sons of God to participate in all that God is in His life, nature, expression, and function.

In particular, we will enjoy the tree of life and the water of life (Rev. 21:6). God is flowing eternally, and we will drink the living water eternally.

God is constantly supplying us as the tree of life, and we will enjoy Him for eternity as the many sons of God. Praise the Lord. May we have a foretaste of this today and enter into this reality for eternity!

Lord Jesus, we want to gradually grow in the divine life so that we may be the sons of God in this age! Hallelujah, we were sinners, but we are now made into sons of God by the continual receiving of the divine dispensing into our being! Amen, Lord, keep us open to Your divine dispensing today. May we open every part of our being for You to grow, spread, and saturate us with Your divine life. May we be Your overcomers in this age, those who believe into the Lord and live a life in the organic union with the Lord! Praise the Lord, we believers in Christ are becoming sons of God who overcome and who will participate in the New Jerusalem! Wow, for eternity we will be the constituents of the New Jerusalem and we will dwell in the New Jerusalem! Praise the Lord, for eternity we will enjoy God in Christ as the Spirit as the water of life and also as the tree of life to be our eternal life supply! Amen, we are becoming the eternal city of peace, the New Jerusalem, to express God for eternity!

The Lord is very wise. In Matthew 5 He did not teach concerning love but concerning peace, for the demand of making peace with others is higher than that of showing love to others. We should not think that the Lord was being overly simple in speaking of the living of the kingdom people. The Lord seemed to speak only of peace, but peace covers many matters …If we can take care of peace, every other matter will be taken care of properly. It is not sufficient to merely be humble or loving; we must have peace with others. The peacemakers shall be called the sons of God because the work that the Lord Jesus as the Son of God manifested on the earth is centered on peace (v. 9). Even His death on the cross is for making peace (Eph. 2:15-16; Col. 1:20). Therefore, the living of the kingdom people should be with peace toward men. This requires dealings related to our self and our flesh. It also requires that our whole being be ruled and restricted by the heavens.

Dear brother, we need to gradually grow in life unto maturity to be sons of God, those led by the Spirit of God and who are peacemakers, even as the Son of God came to make peace.

The sons of God overcome by believing, and they will inherit the New Jerusalem!

Amen, Lord, grow in us. Make us sons of God in full, those who are mature in life and who are peacemakers.

Amen, Lord Jesus. Make us sons of God. Sonship is the focal point of God’s economy, turning sinners into sons.

We need to have peace with others by dealing with the self and being restricted by the heavens.

Lord, may we be constituents of the Body for Your expression

Although we are God’s children, having God’s life and nature through regeneration, peacemakers are called sons of God.

Peacemakers are those who are strict to themselves, merciful to others, and pure toward God. If we’re righteously square, merciful toward others, and pure toward God spontaneously, we will be peacemakers. God’s kingdom is righteousness and peace. Happy and blessed are those in the kingdom of God constituted with the many sons of God, who make peace. They have become the duplication and reproduction of Christ as the Son of God and as the Peacemaker.

Because of the fall of mankind, there was separation, divisions, discord, enmity within and among men. Thank the Lord for His salvation in His economy, announcing to us the gospel of peace making us sons of God as constituents of His Body, the New Man, consummating in the New Jerusalem.

If we focus on having a proper inward condition toward God, Christ will spontaneously be manifested as our outward state.

We will be peacemakers as Yeshua was when He was on Earth.

Being willing to be ruled & restricted by the heavens will make us the mature sons of God who will be the very constituents of the New Jerusalem.

The central thought of the book of Romans is that God’s salvation makes sinners His sons, who have His life and nature so that they can express Him, that they may become members of Christ to constitute the Body of Christ for His expression. Hence, sonship is stressed in this chapter (vv. 15, 23). Sons here indicates a more advanced stage of growth in the divine life than does children in v. 16, yet not as advanced as heirs in v. 17. Children refers to the initial stage of sonship, the stage of regeneration in the human spirit. Sons are the children of God who are in the stage of the transformation of their souls. They not only have been regenerated in their spirit and are growing in the divine life, but they also are living and walking by being led by the Spirit. Heirs are the sons of God who, through the transfiguration of their body in the stage of glorification, will be fully matured in every part of their being. Hence, they will be qualified as the legal heirs to claim the divine inheritance (vv. 17, 23).

Here is a song based on the last prayer, on the tune of Amazing Grace,

1. Lord Jesus, help us grow in life,
As sons of God today;
Once lost in sin, now made God’s own,
By grace along the way.

2. Your life You give and daily share,
As we receive from You;
We open all our heart and soul,
For You to make us new.

3. Make us the ones who overcome,
By living joined to You;
Believing, walking in Your life,
In union strong and true.

4. We’re built to be Jerusalem,
God’s city full of peace;
We drink of life, we eat of Christ,
Our joy shall never cease.
