Enter Within the Veil (our Spirit) and Go Outside the Camp (come out of Religion)

For which cause I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God...for God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of sobermindedness. 2 Tim. 1:6-7

We believers in Christ need to enter within the veil and go outside the camp; to enter within the veil is to enter into the Holy of Holies, that is, be in our spirit to enjoy Christ, and to go outside the camp is to be outside of religion, which rejects Jesus.

Amen, Lord, may we be those who enter within the veil and go outside the camp! Save us from remaining in any camp of religion. Save us from not entering into the Holy of Holies! We exercise our spirit and we choose to turn to You to enjoy You and partake of all Your riches! Amen!

This week we are enjoying and prayerfully considering two matters which are interrelated: Christ as the Author of our salvation and as the Forerunner is leading many sons into glory, and the way He does it, is by our entering within the veil and going outside the camp.

The Lord Jesus did this first; He came as God incarnated to be a man, and He was daily within the veil and outside the camp. He was in His Spirit, always exercising to be one with the Father.

He didn’t just do things to please the Father, nor did He merely do the will of the Father in an outward way.

Christ lived within the veil, one with the Father, and He went outside the camp, not remaining in the religious camp of Judaism.

He cut the way into glory; He passed through much rejection, persecution, and suffering, but He made it: He entered into glory, and now we follow Him there.

Christ as a man, as a God-man, is now in glory; there is a Man in the glory, there is a Man on the throne, and His name is Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord!

He took the lead to fight through into glory, and now we follow Him. He leads us as the Author (the Captain) of our salvation.

He is our High Priest, praying for us and ministering God into us. He intercedes for us and ministers God with all that God is into us so that we may go on with the Lord and be brought into glory.

Christ is leading many sons into glory as the Author of salvation by saving them organically through sanctification.

Today we believers in Christ are in the process of being sanctified; from beginning to the end, our Christian life and experience is one of sanctification.

We have been sanctified positionally, and now we are being sanctified dispositionally until we become as holy as Christ, partaking of God’s holiness, so that we may be glorified! Hallelujah!

We need to Enter Within the Veil and Go Outside the Camp by Being in our Spirit and Outside Religion

Let us therefore go forth unto Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. Heb. 13:13

The goal and ultimate conclusion of the book of Hebrews is that we as believers in Christ need to enter within the veil and go outside the camp (see Heb. 6:19-20; 13:13).

We have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us, which we have as an anchor of the soul. This hope, which is Christ, is both secure and firm, and which enters within the veil, where the Forerunner, Jesus, has entered for us, having become a high Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

The book of Hebrews tells us that the heavenly Christ is within the veil, and then it encourages us to enter within the veil. It is here, within the veil, that we can look away unto Him (12:2) and can consider Him (v. 3; 3:1).

On the one hand, we need to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, holiness, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. On the other hand, we need to enter within the veil and go outside the camp. We enter within the veil by being in our spirit, where the Holy of Holies is.

...we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us, Which we have as an anchor of the soul, both secure and firm and which enters within the veil, where the Forerunner, Jesus, has entered for us... Heb. 6:18-20Our spirit is mingled with God in Christ as the Spirit to be the real and practical Holy of Holies today.

When we turn to our spirit, we believers in Christ enter within the veil. It is here, within the veil in our spirit, that we can participate in the heavenly ministry of the heavenly Christ.

As we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter within the veil, and we are saturated and permeated with all the divine riches to become the reproduction of Christ as the firstborn Son of God. In this way, we become His corporate expression.

May we come forward to the throne of grace in our spirit to receive grace and find mercy for timely help (4:16).

May we receive grace from the Lord and be strengthened to go outside the camp so that we may follow the Lord on the pathway of the cross.

According to the spiritual significance in the book of Hebrews, for us to enter within the veil is to enter into the Holy of Holies, where the Lord is enthroned in glory. Also, for us to go outside the camp is for us to come out of religion, from which the Lord was cast in rejection.

The camp signifies the organisation of religion; this is earthly and human. Every religion is actually a human organisation and an earthly realm that keeps people away from God’s economy. Oh Lord!

We need to go outside the camp by being outside of religion, and we need to enter within the veil by being in our spirit, where the Lord is.

When we remain in our spirit, contacting the heavenly Christ who is in glory, we will go forth outside the camp of religion unto the lowly Jesus to suffer with Him.

Throughout the ages, this has been the genuine Christian experience of many seekers of the Lord.

They touched the Lord in spirit and were infused with His beauty, for He radiated Himself with all His riches into them; therefore, they were enabled to come outside the camp of religion, bearing His reproach.

This is our experience today; as we contact Christ in the heavens and enjoy His glorification, we are energised to take the narrow way of the cross on earth, being able to bear the reproach of Jesus.

On the positive side, we enter within the veil by exercising our spirit to contact the living Jesus. On the negative side, we go outside the camp, bearing the Lord’s reproach.

To go outside of religion means to stop doing anything for God or being involved in things done for God that are without the presence of Christ.

If we don’t have the presence of Christ but we are worshipping God and serving Him, doing things to please God, that is religion.

Looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:2Instead of merely doing things outwardly to please God or serve Him, we need to be in spirit, where the practical Holy of Holies is today in our experience, and we need to be outside religion, where the practical camp is today.

Brothers and sisters, the more we are in our spirit, enjoying the heavenly Christ, the more we will come outside the camp of religion, following the suffering Jesus.

Our remaining in our spirit in the intimate and sweet contact with the heavenly Christ, who is in glory, will enable us and energise us to go forth outside the camp of religion unto the lowly Jesus to suffer with Him.

God wants us to have a personal, intimate, private, and spiritual touch and relationship with Him, but if we only do things for God without the presence of Christ, we fall into religion. We may honour God with our lips, but our heart may be far away from Him (Matt. 15:8). Oh Lord!

May we come to the Lord in His word, realising that the genuine New Testament ministry brings us into the enjoyment of Christ in our spirit, within the veil.

As we enjoy the ministry in God’s word, we are strengthened to follow Jesus outside the camp in the fellowship of His sufferings for the sake of His Body (2 Cor. 11:23-33).

Within the veil, in our mingled spirit, we participate in the ministry of the heavenly Christ so that we may be equipped to minister Him to the thirsty spirits outside the camp. May we be such ones today!

Lord Jesus, we want to enter within the veil and go outside the camp today! Amen, Lord, we want to enter into the Holy of Holies, where the Lord is enthroned in glory! We want to go outside the camp by coming out of religion, from which the Lord was cast in rejection. Save us from any service or work for God without the presence of Christ. May we be in our spirit today, where the practical Holy of Holies is. Amen, may we be outside religion, where the practical camp is today! Hallelujah, the more we are in our spirit, enjoying the heavenly Christ, the more we will come outside the camp of religion, following the suffering Jesus! Amen, Lord, we come to You in Your word. We want to be under the genuine New Testament ministry so that we may be brought into the enjoyment of Christ in our spirit, within the veil, and so that we may be strengthened to follow Jesus outside the camp! Amen, Lord, only when we enjoy You in our spirit can we follow the suffering Jesus and partake of the fellowship of His sufferings for the sake of His Body!

We Enter Within the Veil by Turning to our Spirit and Exercising our Spirit

For the word of God is living and operative and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow, and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Heb. 4:12

If we enter within the veil, we are enabled to go outside the camp; the key is to be within the veil, that is, to find a way to enter within the veil today and every day.

What is it for us to enter within the veil in our Christian experience? For us believers in Christ to enter within the veil is for us to get into our spirit.

The key is our spirit. When we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter within the veil (1 Tim. 4:7-8).

The writer of Hebrews wanted to encourage, exhort, and even charge the Hebrew believers to come outside the camp of religion and bear the reproach of Christ, even be one with the suffering Jesus.

The only way this is possible is if there’s a clear dividing of the soul and the spirit by the living word of God, which operates like a sword (Heb. 4:12).

We need to read and pray over the word of God, exercising our spirit to touch God in His word, the living word of God will be operative in us, dividing the soul from the spirit.

We have to exercise and use our spirit; we need to employ our spirit by fanning our spirit into flame, setting our mind on the spirit, and discerning our spirit from our soul (2 Tim. 1:6-7; Rom. 8:5-6).

We have many ways to turn to our spirit and be in our spirit so that we may enter within the veil. Daily, we need to exercise our whole being to be in our spirit; we must even bring our whole being into the spirit.

God in Christ as the Spirit is joined to our spirit as one spirit, and the gift of God is our God-given spirit. May we not have a spirit of cowardice but rather, fan our spirit into flame to have a spirit of power and of love and of sobermindedness.

We must exercise our spirit day by day so that we may enter within the veil to have a direct contact with the Lord Jesus.

We must contact Him face to face, directly, so that we may behold Him as the Man in the glory to be infused and transfused with Him so that we may become His corporate reproduction (2 Cor. 3:18).

When we turn our heart to the Lord and exercise our spirit to contact Him, we will behold the Lord in spirit, and He infuses us with what He is.

He transfuses Himself into us. He constitutes us with Himself. The issue is that we become His corporate reproduction, for we behold what we reflect.

For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace. Rom. 8:5-6The key to experiencing Christ is our human spirit, which is joined to the Holy of Holies.

May we learn to discern our spirit from anything religious and from our soul.

May we no longer camp in our mind or in any religious activity or thought, but turn to our spirit! Hallelujah, the Lord Jesus is with our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22) and grace is with our spirit (Gal. 6:18).

We can turn to our spirit and take grace. We enter within the veil by turning to our spirit.

When we’re within the veil, in our spirit, we are in the Holy of Holies. In this realm, we partake of Christ and enjoy Him as the hidden manna, the budding rod, and the law of life, issuing in God’s corporate expression for the fulfilment of His eternal purpose (Heb. 9:3-4). This is what God is after today.

In His economy, God is dispensing Himself in His Divine Trinity into our being for the producing and building up of the church as the Body of Christ. This building is in spirit, and when we’re in our spirit, we enter within the veil.

May we be Christians who enter within the veil today by exercising our spirit so that we may receive God’s dispensing, be infused with God, go outside the camp, and become His glorious corporate expression!

Lord Jesus, we want to enter within the veil today by exercising our spirit to contact the Lord! Hallelujah, we believers in Christ are joined to the Lord as one spirit! Praise the Lord, when we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter within the veil! Amen, Lord, we want to use, employ, and exercise our spirit today by fanning our spirit into flame! Praise the Lord, we have not received a spirit of cowardice but of power and of love and of sobermindedness! Amen, Lord, we set our mind on our spirit today. We exercise our spirit and we want to discern our spirit from our soul. We want to enter within the veil to have a direct contact with the heavenly Christ! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to behold You so that we may be infused with You and become Your corporate reproduction! May we behold and reflect the Lord today! Hallelujah for our spirit, where we can see the Lord, be infused with Him, and be constituted with Him so that we may reflect Him and be His corporate expression!

    – Enter the veil and go without the camp, / Taste heaven’s sweetness, thus the earth forsake; / If by the Holiest I am satisfied, / How can I of earth’s vanities partake? / Enter the veil and go without the camp, / By heaven’s presence will the earth depart; / If heaven’s glory doth my spirit charm, / How can earth’s happiness possess my heart? (Hymns #549 stanzas 1-2)
    – Lord, Thou art now within the veil, / As our unique Forerunner, / That by Thy life, without the camp, / We’ll in the race be runners. / Thou art the Finisher of faith, / As well its Author perfect; / By faith and love we follow Thee, / And e’er to Thee are subject. (Hymns #188 stanzas 20-21)
    – Lamb of God, through Thee we enter— / Inside the veil. / Cleansed by Thee, we boldly venture— / Inside the veil. / Not a stain; a new creation: / Ours is such a full salvation; / Low we bow in adoration— / Inside the veil. / Unto Thee, the homeless stranger— / Outside the camp, / Forth we hasten, fear no danger— / Outside the camp. / Thy reproach, far richer treasure / Than all Egypt’s boasted pleasure; / Drawn by love that knows no measure— / Outside the camp. (Hymns #550 stanzas 3-4)

It is difficult for Christian readers to understand why the writer of Hebrews mentions the spirit in 4:12. As he is comparing Christ with Judaism, he suddenly says, “The word of God is living and operative and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit.” Now we understand that this verse shows us the key to experiencing Christ— our spirit, which is joined to the Holy of Holies. Therefore, we must discern our spirit from our camping mentality, from our camping soul. We must no longer camp in our mind but turn to our spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22). Grace is with our spirit (Gal. 6:18)…Where do we go to take grace? We must go to our spirit. The Holy of Holies, God’s economy, and even the fulfillment of God’s economy are all related to our spirit. What we need today is to enter within the veil by getting into the spirit. God’s economy is the dispensing of the Triune God into our being. This builds up the Body of Christ, producing material for the building up of the church. This transpires in the Holy of Holies within the veil, which is joined to our spirit.

Lord Jesus, we come to You as we are! We exercise our spirit to enter within the veil and go outside the camp! Oh Lord, we stay away from any religion and we simply turn to our spirit, where the practical Holy of Holies is! Amen!

We believers in Christ need to enter within the veil by entering into our spirit and go outside the camp by coming out of anything of religion today. The Lord Jesus took the lead to enter within the veil and go outside the camp, and we follow Him in spirit. The more we contact the Lord in spirit, the more we get out of anything religious and follow the humble Jesus to be His corporate testimony on the earth.

Amen, Lord, we turn to our spirit! We want to touch You in an intimate, personal, spiritual way so that we may be in spirit, in the Holy of Holies! Amen!

For us to fully experience & enjoy the full process of sanctification, we must come out of religion— out of worshiping God according to culture & tradition— and enter within the “veil”, our mingled spirit. We must come out of our mind, emotion & will and turn to our spirit moment by moment, day after day…

Wow, self-beautification leads to idolatry, a route for Satan to usurp what the Lord has planned. Many Christian’s today believe they are serving the True God but our serving idols and mixing worship. Oh Lord. We turn to You, we love You
