Christ is the Author, the Captain, the Pioneer, the Forerunner, and He took the lead to enter into glory, and we now as His followers are taking the same way to be brought into the same glory; He came into us as the seed of glory, and He is growing in us and transforms us into His glorious image.
Thank You, Lord, for coming into us as the seed of glory! We praise You! We love You! We give You more ground in us to grow in us and make us as glorious as You are! Amen, Lord, bring us from glory to glory! Lead us into glory to be the same as You are! Amen!
What a privilege it is for as believers in Christ to be saved by God and to be in a process at the end of which we are brought into glory!
God’s eternal goal is not just to save us from perdition and bring us into heavens; His eternal goal is to gain many sons, the more the better, for Him to have a glorious expression.
The Father sent the Spirit on a mission, to show us the riches of Christ, even as Abraham sent his trusted servant to gain a bride for Isaac.
We have seen something of the wonderful riches of Christ, we have been captivated, our heart was gained, we turned to the Lord, and we enjoyed His riches.
Now His riches operate in us to transform us and conform us to the image of Christ.
And we are becoming His fullness, the fullness of Christ, by enjoying and experiencing His riches.
As we live our Christian life, we are daily praying that the Father would strengthen us into the inner man according to the riches of His glory by His Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our hearts, so that we may be filled unto all the fullness of God, and God would gain all the glory in the church.
What a wonderful Christian life we have, having God wrought into us day by day and then having Him lived out of us for His expression!
God is working throughout the ages to gain His corporate expression, the many sons in glory.
Christ is now leading us into glory so that we are the same as He is, expressing God in full.
First, Christ came to pass through a process in order to open the way for us all as human beings to enter into glory.
He came as the seed of the divine glory, fell into the earth and died, and grew up to blossom in glory in resurrection.
Now He is in us, repeating the same process, so that just as He is the Man in the glory, so we would be brought into God’s glory for Him to gain His corporate expression!
Amen, and He will gain His expression, for Revelation 21-22 shows us the New Jerusalem, the holy city, bearing the glory of God! Praise the Lord!
Christ as the Author of Salvation is the Seed of Glory Within us to Bring us into Glory

According to Hebrews 6:20, Christ is the Author, the Captain, the Pioneer, and the Forerunner of our salvation.
He took the lead to enter into glory, and now we as His many followers, are taking the same way to be brought into the same glory, which was ordained by God for us (1 Cor. 2:7; 1 Thes. 2:12).
If we read the Gospels and then the Acts together with the Epistles we see the wonderful man Jesus Christ, who is our model, our example.
When we believers in Christ opened to the Lord and believed into Him, this wonderful Jesus came into us to be our life and everything!
He came into us not only as our Saviour; even more, He came to be the One who takes the lead to run the race into glory! He has entered into the full expression of God, and now is the full expression of God.
And He is leading us into glory! Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus, who is God’s expression, is the effulgence of God’s glory (Heb. 1:3); as such a One, He came into us.
He is not only the eternal life in our spirit but even more, according to Colossians 1:27, He is in us as our hope of glory. Christ in us, the hope of glory!
On the one hand, Jesus Christ is the wonderful One who cut the way into glory and is now within the veil, being the full expression of God. On the other hand, He has come into us and He lives within us; from within us, He is leading us into glory.
He didn’t leave His glory in order to come into us; rather, He came as the glory of God in us, and Christ in us is the hope of glory!
Wow, God’s wisdom is in a mystery; this wisdom has been hidden from the ages, but now He has been revealed to us, even in us!
The Author of salvation, the Captain of salvation, the Man in the glory, the Man who is God’s glory, is the seed of glory within us (Col. 1:27; 1 John 3:9).
Christ is the seed of glory in us; in this divine seed within us there is the divine glory.
His seed abides in us. His seed is His gene; the very gene of God is in us. The DNA of God is in us, for we have the seed of God.
Because His seed is in us, because Christ is the seed of glory in us, we can be assured that one day we will be even as He is, for His gene in us will make us the same as He is!
Just as a dog begets a dog and, when the puppy grows up, he expresses the life of a dog, so God begot us and, though we may be immature today, one day the seed of glory in us will grow unto maturity and develop until we enter fully into His glory! Amen!
Our Saviour, Lord Jesus, took the lead to fight through into glory; His whole life was a fighting process for glory.
He testified in Luke 12:49-50 that He wants to release the fire of the divine life and be baptised so that He would release God’s life.
He wanted to be baptised with the baptism of His death so that the fire of the divine life within Him would be released and ignite millions of human beings! Right now, we believers in Christ have the divine fire in our spirit.
We may think there’s only the pilot light there, a little flame, but when we exercise our spirit, the fire of the divine life burns brightly in us! Hallelujah! The impulse of the spiritual life has reached us, burns in us, and is the seed of glory in us!
There’s the impetus of the spiritual life in us, an impelling force that pushes us to go on with the Lord and give ourselves to Him, even to love Him beyond our own control.
We simply need to cooperate with His growing in us and His burning in us. The growing of the seed of glory within us is a fighting process. Glory is the blossoming of the divine element within us.
Praise the Lord, the glory into which we will enter is the glory of the divine element that has been sown into us as a seed (2 Thes. 1:10).
When the Lord comes, on the one hand He will come from heaven, and on the other hand, He will come from within us, for He will be glorified in His saints.
He will be glorified in His saints to be marvelled at in all those who have believed. This means that the unbelievers will marvel at Him and admire Him, even be awed and in wonder at Him being glorified in the saints! Hallelujah!
Thank the Lord that He came as the Captain of salvation, the Author of salvation, and now He is in us as the seed of glory, growing in us until we are fully brought into glory! Hallelujah!
Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Author of salvation, the Captain of our salvation! We praise You for being the Forerunner, the One who cut the way into glory! Hallelujah, Christ is the Pioneer, and we follow Him into glory! Thank You, Lord, for taking the lead to enter into glory, and now we are following You into glory! Amen, Lord, we want to cooperate with You to take the same way as You did to be brought into the same glory, which was ordained by God for us! Hallelujah, the Author of salvation, the Man in the glory, is now the seed of glory within us! Amen, Lord, grow in us a little more today! Thank You for being the seed of glory in us. Hallelujah, Christ is in us as the hope of glory! Grow in us, Lord. Keep us in the fighting process so that we may have glory increased in us until we are fully brought into glory! Amen, Lord, may the divine element within us blossom until we enter into glory! Praise the Lord!
We are Saved into Glory through the Process of Suffering, and Christ is Leading us into glory!

When we hear that God in Christ came into us as the seed of glory, we are filled with gratitude and hope, for this living seed will grow in us, blossom in us, and bring us into glory! What a glorious destiny we have!
However, based on what the New Testament shows us, the way for us to enter into glory is very particular; it involves suffering. We are saved into glory, the expression of God, through the process of suffering (Heb. 10:32-35; 2 Cor. 4:16-18; Psa. 84:5-7; 2 Cor. 3:18; Rom. 8:17-18, 21).
God uses suffering as the process to bring us further and deeper into glory. All our sufferings help us along the highways to Zion to transform us from glory to glory.
May we come to God’s word and really pray over what the Lord speaks to us, especially the portion in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, so that we may be at peace whenever we pass through sufferings.
The Lord tells us that we should not lose heart, for though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
Day by day, our outer man is decaying; we can feel this, we can clearly see this, and we all realise this. But at the same time, though our outer man is decaying, we believe and pray that our inner man would be renewed day by day!
Right now, we have the momentary lightness of affliction; we may be afflicted, we may endure sufferings, and tribulations are our portion day by day. This is a momentary lightness of affliction.
This works out for us, more and more surpassingly, an eternal weight of glory! May we consider the eternal weight of glory more precious than the momentary lightness of affliction!
Momentary is versus eternal, lightness is versus weight, and affliction is versus glory.
May we not regard the things which are seen but the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
When we open to the Lord and allow Christ as the seed of glory to grow in us, even in the midst of suffering and affliction, we are blessed, for we have the highways to Zion in our heart.
Oh, how blessed we are when we take the way of Christ and the church inwardly, allowing Christ as the seed of glory to grow in us until we are led by Christ into glory! May we be such ones today.
May we be those who not only enter into God initially by faith in Him but even more, are on the highways to Zion to enter into God, day by day!
We want to take the way of the church and of experiencing Christ as life not only externally but even more, internally, having the highways to Zion in our heart. Praise the Lord!
How wonderful it is to see that Christ as the Author of our salvation, fulfils His duty to lead us into glory by growing in us as the seed of glory so that we may be brought into the same glory as He is!
We look away unto Jesus, who despised the shame and took the cross, knowing that the result will be a lot of glory.
We look away from anything and anyone else unto Him, for only by looking to Him are we infused with what He is.
He ministers Himself as our life and life supply for us not only to endure in suffering but even more, to have an increased weight of glory in our being.
Truly, this momentary lightness of affliction cannot compare with the eternal weight of glory!
Our sufferings may be quite painful today, but they are just the momentary lightness of affliction that works for us the eternal weight of glory. Hallelujah!
Lord Jesus, we just love You. We open to You. Thank You for saving us in glory, in the expression of God! Hallelujah, we are being saved into glory through the process of suffering! Oh Lord! May we see that all our sufferings help us along the highways to Zion to transform us from glory to glory! Amen, Lord, transform us more from glory to glory as we go through sufferings so that we may become Your glorious bride! We do not look to the momentary lightness of affliction; we simply look to Jesus to go on with Him and be infused with glory! Grow in us, dear Lord, as the seed of glory! Add more of Your glory to us! Amen, Lord, we do not lose heart but rather, as our outer man is decaying, our inner man is being renewed day by day! Amen, Lord, more renewing today! We regard not the things which are seen but the things which are not seen, for we regard the eternal weight of glory wrought into us by our sufferings! Hallelujah, the Lord is leading us into glory and we are saved into glory!

– Christ is the hope of glory, my very life is He, / He has regenerated and saturated me; / He comes to change my body by His subduing might / Like to His glorious body in glory bright! / He comes, He comes, Christ comes to glorify me! / My body He’ll transfigure, like His own it then will be. / He comes, He comes, redemption to apply! / As Hope of glory He will come, His saints to glorify. (Hymns #949 stanza 1 and chorus)
– Myst’ry hid from ages now revealed to me, / ’Tis the Christ of God’s reality. / He embodies God, and He is life to me, / And the glory of my hope He’ll be. / Glory, glory, Christ is life in me! / Glory, glory, what a hope is He! / Now within my spirit He’s the mystery! / Then the glory He will be to me. (Hymns #948 stanza 1 and chorus)
– Lord, Thou art now within the veil, / As our unique Forerunner, / That by Thy life, without the camp, / We’ll in the race be runners. / Thou art the Finisher of faith, / As well its Author perfect; / By faith and love we follow Thee, / And e’er to Thee are subject. (Hymns #188 stanzas 20-21)

Life-study of Hebrews, pp. 112-114, by Witness Lee
Hallelujah, this wonderful Jesus who has entered into us is not only our saviour, but He is our hope of glory!
He is the One who took the lead to run the race into glory, the One who has entered into the full expression of God, the One who, even today, is this full expression of God.
Praise Him! Today He is leading us as His many sons into this same glory!
In God’s wisdom, He predestined we, His followers will follow the pioneer Christ to be brought into glory as Christ. When we 1st received God, He sowed Himself as the seed of the divine glory within us. God’s gene & seed abides in us! So, we need to pray that we’ll grow in life every day.
The seed is a fighting fire within us. The fire of His life is the impulse, the impelling force of divinity fighting to blossom to glory! (2 Thes. 1:10) On the one hand, He will come. On the other hand, He will come blossoming from within us.
We do not lose heart! Though our outer man is decaying, our inner man is being renewed day by day (2 Cor. 4:16-17). Our hearts shd be the highway to Zion (Psa. 84:5-7).
As our great high priest in the heavens, the Lord is now praying for all of us personally and corporately. He always lives to intercede on our behalf. (Heb. 7:25). He prays 4 us that our faith will not backslide as He did for Peter.
We believers in Christ have Christ as the Author (the Captain) of our salvation, the Man in the glory, and this One is also the seed of glory within us.
He is saving us into glory by the process of suffering, and we follow Him into glory.
This One has entered into us and brought glory into us. He is also ministering Himself as grace to us continually as the High Priest. Whatever sufferings we pass through are momentary lightness in comparison to the eternal weight of glory.
