Though we Often Forsake God, we can Repent and Return to Drink Him as Living Waters

February 29, 2024 by aGodMan 22 Comments

It is Jehovah's lovingkindness that we are not consumed, / For His compassions do not fail; they are new every morning; / Great is Your faithfulness. Lam. 3:22-23

Though we often forsake God and run after other things to find satisfaction, we can repent and return to drink Him as living waters in our daily life. God is faithful to deal with our idols and bring us back to the enjoyment of Christ that we may drink of Him; though we are […]

God is Faithful to lead us to Drink of Him as the Fountain of Living Waters

February 28, 2024 by aGodMan 16 Comments

For My people have committed two evils: / They have forsaken Me, / The fountain of living waters, / To hew out for themselves cisterns, / Broken cisterns, / Which hold no water. Jer. 2:13

Our God is faithful to deal with all our idols so that He may lead us to drink Him as the fountain of living waters. God is faithful in calling us into the fellowship and enjoyment of His Son, but many times we’re unfaithful to His calling us into His intention; hence, God is […]

Focus on Christ and Think the One Thing: to Enjoy and Experience Christ Subjectively

February 27, 2024 by aGodMan 17 Comments

Make my joy full, that you think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking the one thing. Phil. 2:2

As believers in Christ, we need to focus on Christ and think the one thing – the enjoyment and experience of Christ in a subjective way day by day. Since the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ is the unique solution to all the problems in the church, we should focus on the one thing […]

We’re Called into the Fellowship of Christ to Enjoy Him as our All-inclusive Portion

February 26, 2024 by aGodMan 17 Comments

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor. 1:9

As believers in Christ, we have been called into the fellowship of Christ so that we may enjoy Him as our allotted portion given to us by God for our enjoyment; we need to focus on nothing else but enjoying the all-inclusive Christ in all that He is to us, and all our problems […]

Being One with the Lord to Live Christ for God’s Manifestation unto New Jerusalem

February 25, 2024 by aGodMan 3 Comments

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. 1 Cor. 6:17

We believers in Christ can live in the principle of incarnation, being so one with the Lord and permeated with Him that even our opinion expresses His mind to be His manifestation in the flesh; the consummation of this manifestation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and the new earth. Amen! The […]

We Exercise our Spirit to live out Godliness for God’s Manifestation in the Flesh

February 24, 2024 by aGodMan 16 Comments

This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church. Eph. 5:32

Today God is manifested in the church, for the manifestation of God is the proper living of the church; when we exercise our spirit, we are one spirit with the Lord, and godliness is our living, for God is expressed in us and through us. The Lord Jesus was the individual manifestation of God […]

God as Life Lived out in the Church for His Expression is the Mystery of Godliness

February 23, 2024 by aGodMan 6 Comments

In order for the church to be the manifestation of God in the flesh, we must live not by our self but by God. If we live by God and take God as our living and our person, then when we come together, it will be the manifestation of God in the flesh. The church is a group of people who have been redeemed and regenerated and who live by God. God is their life, their nature, their person, and their living; when they come together, all the angels will say, “Confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was manifested in the flesh.” This is the church. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1977, vol. 3, “The Subjective Truths in the Holy Scriptures,” pp. 180-181

The great mystery of godliness Paul spoke of in 1 Tim. 3:15-16 is Christ lived out of the church as the manifestation of God in the flesh, which is the church as the house of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth. Amen! God’s desire is to manifest Himself in the […]
