The last six psalms are called, The Hallelujah Psalms, because they all start and finish with the word, Hallelujah! They offer a consummate praise to God for all He has done and for all that He is to His people. When the earth is fully recovered by God and is being brought under the reign […]
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
seeing the preciousness of Zion and Jerusalem, and fully trusting in the Lord

There is a specific group of Psalms – from 120 to 134 – that is called, Songs of Ascents. These do not speak of the law but they relate to the matter of captivity. The law brings you to captivity if you try to keep it in yourself with your own strength; the people of […]
dealing with our heart so that we may receive help when we come to the Word

What the Word of God is to us when we come to read the Bible depends on the condition of our heart. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives us life (2 Cor. 3:6). If we have the proper heart and we are in the right condition when we come to read the Bible, we […]
keeping ourselves empty, open, fresh, living, and young with the Lord for His move

This morning we were enjoying some simple ways to cooperate with Christ in His heavenly ministry in the day of His warfare. First of all, we need to rise up early in the morning to contact the Lord whom we love so that we may enter into the womb of the dawn to be conceived […]

being identified with Christ to dwell in God and see the extension of our days
There are so many wonderful things that we enjoy when we are in this sweet identification with Christ! Psalm 91 speaks of Christ, the One who lived a life fully one with the Father and took God as His dwelling place. In identification with Christ, we also are under the keeping care of the angels, and we tread upon the enemy Satan (see Psa. 91:11-13 and Matt. 4:6). The way we defeat Satan, the serpent that poisons God’s people and the lion that devours God’s people is by being identified with Christ! In Christ we overcome the enemy and we tread upon his head.
