we are earthen vessels containing a priceless treasure, the Christ of glory!

February 11, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

When God shines on us through the speaking of His Word, the glory of God in the face of Christ is being infused into us to become the indwelling treasure in our spirit (see 2 Cor. 4:6-7; 1 Pet. 3:4). This is so wonderful! We are earthen vessels – worthless, fragile, temporal, ephemeral, and passing away – but we contain a priceless treasure – the face of Christ, the person of Christ, the image of God Himself – in our spirit (2 Cor. 2:10)! There is nothing more precious and valuable in the whole universe than beholding the face of Jesus [read more online]

man has a spirit to contact God and a mind to be continually set on the spirit

January 26, 2012 by aGodMan 5 Comments

Though we may think we are “normal” and “we think as normal people do”, our mind is sick with a terrible disease – we need to have our mind healed, cleansed, purified, and even lifed by setting it on our mingled spirit again and again! We don’t “switch on once and for all” by turning to the Lord in the morning – all throughout the day we continually need to set our mind on our spirit! “Lock your mind on the spirit” (as if you would lock the GPS to the destination) and don’t go to the left or to the right! May our mind be occupied with Christ to the point that we are sick with love for the Lord! [continue reading this portion online]

being according to the spirit by learning to activate the law of the Spirit of life

January 24, 2012 by aGodMan 6 Comments

How do we activate the law of the Spirit of life in our being? What are the conditions that need to be created and maintained so that the law of the Spirit of life would automatically be switched on and operate? From the moment we wake up in the morning, we need to exercise our spirit by calling on the Lord’s name and worship Him, praise Him, and exalt Him! This organic practice of opening to the Lord will gird our spirit and strengthen it to guard our whole being from any dark thought, excessive emotion, or desire of the flesh! Christ is the reality of the law to infuse His living substance into His loving seekers!

January 14, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

In our experience whether the law as the living word of God is positive or negative depends on what the condition of our heart is when we receive the Word! If we are loving seekers of God loving Him, humbling ourselves before Him, and regarding the law as His living Word through which we can contact Him and abide in Him – then the law will become a channel through which we receive life and nourishment for our supply! If our heart is humble, open, unloaded, unveiled, and appreciative for the Lord we love, we are infused with God’s substance through the law as God’s word and we even become one with God in life, nature, and expression (Rom. 8:14; Phil. 1:21)! God wants to dispense Himself into us – it is so easy to receive Him! (2011 winter school of truth)

January 10, 2012 by Christian Student 3 Comments

This Winter School I also enjoyed the matter of having a personal time with the Lord because if we don’t have a daily, intimate, personal time with Him, we will quickly slip back into our old worldly ways. Therefore, it is especially important to maybe just get up 10 minutes earlier or maybe in the morning when walking to school to pray to Him, confess our sins, and tell the Lord that we love Him. Although this may sometimes seem like “a chore” to us, eventually we will enjoy it so much that we look forward to spending this time with Him! Lord, make me a stepping stone for Your return! Lord, I’m willing, use me in 2012!

January 1, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

About the new year, 2012… Lord, make me that someone who rises up and allows You to use me as a stepping stone for Your move! O, Lord, I am willing – use me! Do NOT pass me by! I don’t want to miss this opportunity! Lord, I want to count the cost and allow You to deal and break through anything that still resists You in me. Lord, what is holding me back? What idols are still there in my heart? Lord, break through in anything that holds You back in me – I want to pay the price to be filled within and clothed without with the Spirit! being willing to lose our soulish enjoyment for the building up of the church

December 24, 2011 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Just as the disciples had a foretaste of the Lord’s resurrection by seeing His transfiguration on the mountain (see Matt. 16:28 and Matt. 17), so today the Lord comes to us when we lose our soul life to give us the real enjoyment! If we lose our soul life for the Lord’s sake in this age, we will receive the reward of the real enjoyment of the Lord in our soul when He comes to us again and again! If we don’t lose our soul life in this age but seek to have it, we are double losers – the enjoyment we have in this age in our soul is NOT REAL, and at the Lord’s return we will really lose our soul life. But if we lose our soul life in this age, we are double winners – we have the REAL enjoyment of Christ in our soul in this age and when He returns, we will gain our soul! [continue reading online]
