About a God-man in Christ

A God-man is a normal believer in Christ; the author of this article is one who is learning to be a normal Christian, a daily enjoyer of Christ, a living and functioning member in the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord, make us such ones for the building up of the Body of Christ!

Christ is the reality of the law to infuse His living substance into His loving seekers!

January 14, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

In our experience whether the law as the living word of God is positive or negative depends on what the condition of our heart is when we receive the Word! If we are loving seekers of God loving Him, humbling ourselves before Him, and regarding the law as His living Word through which we can contact Him and abide in Him – then the law will become a channel through which we receive life and nourishment for our supply! If our heart is humble, open, unloaded, unveiled, and appreciative for the Lord we love, we are infused with God’s substance through the law as God’s word and we even become one with God in life, nature, and expression (Rom. 8:14; Phil. 1:21)! the significance of Christ as the cornerstone for God’s building (Psalm 118)

January 13, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

What does it mean that Christ is the cornerstone in God’s building? In the Psalms we see that Christ is the refuge rock, the blessed Rock, the protecting rock, the higher rock, the unique rock, the strengthening rock, the habitation rock, the unfailing rock, the salvation rock, and the trusting rock! Also, He is nine types of stones: the eternal rock, the foundation stone, the living stone, the cornerstone, the precious stone, the topstone, the cleft rock, the crushing stone, and the stone of stumbling! Specifically, brother Andrew Yu was sharing at least 6 aspects in which Christ being the cornerstone is very significant: [continue reading online the six aspects]

the local churches as the golden lampstands bear the testimony of Jesus on the earth

January 12, 2012 by aGodMan 6 Comments

If we do not see what the Lord’s recovery is intrinsically, we may be in the Lord’s recovery outwardly and in the local church meetings weekly, but we may have an empty church life. Unless we see the intrinsic significance of the Lord’s recovery we have a vain life, at best a Brethren-type of meeting… The focus of the Lord’s Recovery is the corporate expression of the Triune God – in the church life, Christ is shining and God is fully expressed through all the saints! O, Lord, show us intrinsically what the focus of the Lord’s recovery is! [continue reading this portion inspired from the Morning Revival on the Focus of the Lord’s Recovery, week 1 day 4]

seeing the highest revelation of Christ and willingly consecrating ourselves to Him

January 11, 2012 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Today we can cooperate with Chirst in His heavenly ministry, as He is on His way to victory, by being the young men who offer themselves willingly in the day of His warfare, in the splendor of their consecration (Psa. 110:3). Our willing consecration is our consent, our surrender to the Lord – our whole life and our whole being is for His economy and for His recovery! When we offer ourselves willingly to the Lord, in His eyes we are beautified with a divine heavenly splendor. O, the joy of having nothing, seeing nothing, and caring for nothing but God’s interest here on earth! [continue reading a portion inspired from message 6 in the Crystallization Study of Psalms(2)]

areas in which the Lord Spirit may operate to apply the resurrection life in us

January 10, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

In resurrection, Christ became the life-giving Spirit and He was given to be the Lord and Christ over everything. Now He is the Lord Spirit (2 Cor. 3:18) transforming our soul by imparting the resurrection life to our mind, emotion, and will… There are so many ways that the resurrection life and our appreciation for the real meaning of resurrection life impact us as members of the Body of Christ! … The Lord Spirit may cause some of us to be like Paul and aspire to know the power of Christ’s resurrection, to know it experientially! For some, they may have little interest or aspiration, but the Lord will produce in you a desire to know in your experience the power of Christ’s resurrection! the highest and fullest experience of God is taking God as our dwelling place

January 9, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Enosh called on the name of Jehovah, Enoch walked with God, Abraham had a meal with God, and David cared for God’s heart to build the house of God, but no one except Moses could utter such a statement, Jehovah, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. The God Enosh called on, Enoch walked with, Abraham had a meal with, and David built a house for – is actually our dwelling place! Calling on the Lord, walking with Him, having a meal with Him, and building a house for God are very good experiences, but the fullest experience and the highest experience of God is dwelling in God! the desire of God’s heart is set on Zion with Christ – will you be an overcomer?

January 8, 2012 by aGodMan 5 Comments

The key to becoming an overcomer is to give the Lord the preeminence, the first and best love! Loving the Lord, eating the Lord, and being His testimony (see Rev. 2) go together – this is the key to being an overcomer! We are not the super-giants spiritually (Rev. 3:8), but we have little power and don’t deny His name! It is out of the mouths of babes and sucklings that God has established praise (Psa. 8). Will You be an overcomer? AMEN! Will YOU make this choice? AMEN! Lord, make me an overcomer! [continue reading this sharing inspired from message 3 in the recent training on the Psalms]
