About a God-man in Christ

A God-man is a normal believer in Christ; the author of this article is one who is learning to be a normal Christian, a daily enjoyer of Christ, a living and functioning member in the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord, make us such ones for the building up of the Body of Christ!

the only requirement the Bible has from us is that we live in our mingled spirit

February 3, 2012 by aGodMan 4 Comments

We don’t need to fight or struggle with our disposition or temper, trying to put it down whenever we feel it rises up and makes us do or say things that we shouldn’t. No, all we have to do is turn to our spirit and live in our spirit. The only way we can deny our self and we can bear the cross is by living in the spirit. “In the spirit Christ is life to me, / Strengthening and blessing all-inclusively; / Living in the spirit, holiness I prove, / And the triune God within my heart doth move” (Hymns #593, last stanza). our mingled spirit is a spirit of faith and the way for us to abide in the Lord

Today, we are so privileged to know that the spirit of faith here refers to our spirit mingled with the Holy Spirit! Faith is not in our mind – rather, what we have in our mind what we have is just doubts. Faith is in our spirit because it is mingled with the Holy Spirit! We must exercise such a spirit of faith to believe and speak (see Psa. 116:19 and 2 Cor. 4:13). Faith is a reaction to the appearing of God, and it is absolutely of our spirit. In our spirit we can know God and it is here that we need to live a crucified life in resurrection, just like the apostles did for the carrying out of their ministry (see note 2 in 2 Cor. 4:13). the Spirit with our spirit is the secret of participating in God’s dynamic salvation

February 1, 2012 by aGodMan 4 Comments

We can be Christians for many years and only “accidentally touch our spirit”, not knowing that we have a mingled spirit and that the Lord as the Spirit is joined to our spirit (1 Cor. 6:17). We need to pray that the Lord would enlighten us to see and know our mingled spirit – the divine Spirit joined to and mingled with our human spirit – so that we may enter into the intrinsic significance of God’s dynamic salvation in Christ (Rom. 8:2; 2 Cor. 13:14; Acts. 26:18; Eph. 1:13-14). If we know our spirit, we will refuse to live, do anything or go anywhere apart not in our spirit! The Christian life is altogether a matter of living and being in our spirit! we are joined to the Lord as one spirit, and now we live a life in our mingled spirit

Just as the branches in the vine absorb all the riches of the vine and bear fruit, so we as branches in Christ the vine absorb all the riches of Christ! We have been rooted and grounded in Christ, we are one spirit with the Lord, and we need to remain here in this organic union absorbing all the riches of Christ into our being. In this organic union, in this eternal kiss between God and man in our mingled spirit, we are made one with God and we are blended together in life organically to be one spirit! the focus of God’s economy is the mingled spirit, the Spirit mingled with our spirit

What God desires throughout the whole Bible is that He would be joined to man, and in the New Testament we see that this joining is possible by God becoming the life-giving Spirit coming into us to join Himself to our human spirit. The union of God and man is a matter entirely of the union of the two spirits. How does this union occur? This is a great mystery which we cannot explain or comprehend – but the divine Spirit (the processed and consummated Triune God) is joined to our human spirit to become the mingled spirit in us! Praise the Lord! [continue reading a sharing inspired from the morning revival today on, the focus of the Bible – the mingled spirit!]

The Heart of the Divine Revelation – an overview of the four focal books

We are not here to pursue a religion or a moral and godly life. In the Old Testament we see many teachings to help people live a pious life. The Psalmists lived a pious and godly life, they loved Jehovah, they walked with God, they delighted int he law of God – but in the New Testament we see a life in which we live out the Christ we enjoy and experience! This is the heart of the Bible! The Lord’s recovery is not to recover anything else but the knowing and experiencing Christ in all our daily living! daily growing in the divine life by having the element of God being added to us

January 28, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Whenever we feel weak in our spirit, our mind, or our body toward the things of God, we need to call on the name of the Lord. When we call on the Lord’s name we actually breathe in the divine life, which is Christ as the embodiment of God realized as the Spirit. When we call on the name of the Lord, the entire Triune God is added to us in the Spirit, and we grow with the element of God which is added to us. This is to know God and experience Him in the way of life, daily, even moment by moment. In this way, God grows in us daily – and our Christian life and growth is normal, healthy, and proper.
